Hi, I'm am getting a database error on startup as shown. While the program loads, it takes about 5 minutes before I can use P2A. I had another version of P2A installed but have tried to upgrade to the latest version. Help is appreciated.

Are there any repositories to upload and download exported taxi & gate maintenance files that have been updated to be closer to the actual airport? I keep mine backed up but it would be nice epically for larger popular airports to grab a file someone else shared..

I am on trial with P2Atc but I have to say I am finding it a bit frustrating. I have not yet finished a flight without failed communications and occasional app ceasing to work. Today's flight to LFPG was fine until being handed off to Paris centre - the co-pilot failed to switch frequency (this had been working fine before) so I did it and called in but the program just kept telling me to change to this frequency to no avail. I continued the flight ignoring the requests to change to a frequency I was already on then when on final approach a whole load of commands to change to different frequencies and then commands to fly a heading for an approach I was already …

Since last update now i can't check the copilot respond to radio option , when i active it and chage the screen it is deactivated automatically What is wrong Dave? thanks

Hi, Just about to get the trial and then buy as this looks really good. Trying to find out things before I start. I wondered if Pilot2ATC interacts with the Live Traffic plugin in X-Plane in the same way as it would with the stock AI aircraft - this would be really good as Live traffic displays real life flights as AI aircraft. Would greatly increase the realism. It won't stop me buying but it would be good to know if it does interact. Thanks Dave

When using “Import from SimBrief” for the flight plan, it seems that Pilot2ATC doesn’t recognize half waypoints. For example, N5430 W03000 is inserted in the flight plan as 5430N instead of H5430. Is there something that I’ve done wrong?

I have downloaded the trial and have been using it after reading through the manuals, watching numerous YT vids as I didn't want to go at it half cocked! I really do like this however I have an issue I can't seem to resolve - and I appreciate it's likely me being stupid but... I have now done 4 flights and the setup of flight plans has been fine, I get my clearance to pushback, and taxi to the holding point and when given the tower frequency and request take-off I am told to tune to ground to get taxi clearance! so I go in a loop and no further. Let me start by saying that I absolutely love P2ATC and have used on many flights. However on long IFR flights I like to fast forward a bit due to time limitations. I used to use the one in FS2020 like to descent or something but that pretty much wigs out. So I use VFRMAP which allows me to teleport. Usually after teleporting P2ATC will contact me and assign me a controller, but soon after, nothing. I cant get a radio check, I cant get any response even after choosing different controllers. I disconnect and reconnect and try to get IFR clearance, nothing. Closed, reopened, re-file flight plan, IFR clearance = nothing radio check = nothing, there seems to be nothing I can …

Has anyone used poly voices in p2a? Is it cost prohibitive or worth the money? Thanks Phill Dant

During my IFR flights I get many, many traffic alerts and i can see the AI traffic ( in RED) on the P2A map. However I see none of that traffic in the MSFS sim. Is there any SIM setting that I should turn ON to see the AI traffic displayed in P2A? best regards

Hi, I occasionally have trouble with takeoff and I'm wondering if I'm doing/saying the wrong things. Can you help me, what am I supposed to say when I get to the runway and I want clearance to takeoff? The typical problem I get (not every time) goes a little something like this: ... then repeat the dance ad infinitum until I give up and just take off without clearance. 2nd question: let's say I did just takeoff out of frustration like the above without clearance and breaking the normal sequence, is there something I can say just after takeoff to get my co-pilot to switch to the correct frequency for my ongoing flight so that I can continue as normal? Hey guys, i am running into this quite a lot, especially on long STARs: while approach I am getting the expect runway approach message which is fine. But then when I am closer to the destination airport, let’s say 20-40nm, I am usually checking the actual runway in use by traffic global (which quite some time is different from p2atc) and then want to ask for the same runway in p2atc using the request arrival runway Dialoge. This does work fine sometimes, but when I already got a clearance for specific runway from atc, they simply ignore my request and don’t answer to it at all. is there a way to change this behavior and always reply to the request of a spec…

In both the 2.6.4.2 release and the 2.7.0.0 beta 1A, P2ATC does not recognize the "3 / #" key in a couple of the windows. If, for example, I open the config window and try to change the callsign to "American 315" it misses the '3'. Same thing if I try to fill in a flight level like FL350 in the "Sayit" dialogue window. If I type in the speech text window (lower right hand corner) it sees the '3' key input just fine, as do any other programs on the PC. This is the key on the top row of the keyboard--the '3 / PgDn' key on the numpad works normally.

Hi Dave, I need to use LittleNavMap to export a custom flightplan that I can import in Pilot2ATC but none of the available import options are working. This is the route as pasted to the clipboard from LittleNavMap: MMTO MEX PBC PB50A MM20 Regardless of format, when I try to import this route, Pilot2ATC throws up an error, 'Unable to import text into Flight Plan. Check format of the pasted text.' I have tried loading a .pln, text in 'Spoiler' tag below, and importing the text above by pasting into the import window and trying to import in all of the available formats, always with the same error. Whenever I get handed off to tower from ground, it just completely ignores me no matter what I do. Its not a problem with voice recognition or anything on my part. Ill be holding short and attempting to get a takeoff clearance by using voice, and the say it option, but no response. I've tried just about everything at this point.

Using High IFR airways, the airway UJ10 has an altitude restriction is FL200. Using Low IFR airways, the airway UJ10 has an altitude restriction of FL090. Pilot2ATC only sees the High IFR airway altitude restriction and will not let me 'File' the flight as my planned altitude is too low as I am using Low IFR airways. How can I tell Pilot2ATC that I am flying on Low IFR airways? 'Ignore Airway Altitude Restrictions' is selected in Pilot2ATC settings. N.B. The only way that I have found to get around this is to add the specific waypoint 'again' before the waypoint with the altitude restriction. This removes the Altitude Restriction in Pilot2ATC and …

Hi Dave, After working flawlessly for months, all of a sudden Pilot2ATC has stopped hearing me. The Grammar Help test works fine and hears me but when I press PTT in the sim and request clearance, nothing.. I haven't changed any settings and have followed all of your advice in the various posts here too. Any ideas? This is with an HP Reverb USB Audio and no, I can't use 3.5mm sorry. The Reverb Audio has been working fine with no problems. I haven't changes any settings or installed anything different in the sim or on my system (Win 10). Any ideas? Thanks, Toby

Lately it's taking me multiple attempts to get P2ATC to start. It sometimes takes 5-6 attempts to get the program to start...when it doesn't, I see an error page like this:

Hello At LSZH I get a the tower frequency of 118.975, which is wrong. This frequency is from Dubendorf tower in the near. The correct TWR frequency at LSZH is 118.100. How can I change this.

Is there any posibility to add in the future the option to load diferent airplanes profiles to match the top of descent point of the airplane FMC and pilot2atc?

All, I hope that this not a duplicate of a post that I may have not posted. I watched the install video and read the P2A manual regarding the installation of Chatter. So I have missed something because I do not see any regions in the drop down under config/sounds. I choose controller folders and ticked play chatter. The region folder is loaded into the act-chatter folder of p2a. Any thoughts on what I may have missed? I don’t recall having issues with x-plane in the past, so I think that the install into msfs should have worked. 9no longer using xplane. Thanks Phill Dant

Is there any way to start and VFR or IFR flight that will take off from an unmanned airport and land at a manned airport when i have tried to add the icao for the unmanned airport i get Enter the departure airport as the first waypoint of the flight plan error message this was on 2.6.4.2_x64_Beta6A4

Good morning! Running on P3D 4.5 with Saitek Joke. When pressing the key for me to speak P2ATC will be responsive only if I have its window open. Sound seems not to work if P2ATC works in the backgroud. Is there a solution for this? Many thanks in advance! Juan Miguel.
