Anyone have a method to match the sim weather with pilot2atc if we fly in a custom weather/time?

Any Ideas how to use Pilot2atc in vr. Regards

I've been on latest beta for awhile now, and when doing a flight from KDCA to KTEB yesterday, received the message from ATC that they "couldn't provide vectors at this time" when nearing the approach phase,. This was the first time I encountered this. I'll monitor going forward, but has anyone else experienced the same?

After I have requested and did a touch and go how to I tell controller I am leaving the area going to a different airport.

Hi Not sure if this is my issue or not but can't seem to find an answer anywhere ( at least through my searches) In config under Aircraft Call Sign I've got my Call Sign Type selected as Airline. Call sign is RYANAIR (Airline Lookup code is RYR which auto filled this ) , for flight / tail number I've typed in F-WWDC. When I request anything with this callsign ATC ignores me (I start with "RYANAIR WHISKEY DELTA CHARLIE"). If I say "radio check" it replies as " RyanAir eff double-u double-u dee see" I was expecting "RyanAir Whiskey Delta Charlie" or am I wrong? Also in the text readback box the F-WWDC has spaces in between , nothing else has that, I've tried…

Hello, I think I need your help again. Everything goes fine from the beginning, I get clearance (and freq changes to GRND), then approval for pushback and engine start, but as soon as I request taxi approval, ATC does not respond any any longer. I am using the #say it" button. When I chose the ATIS frequency it works, but going back to any controller frequency ATC does not respond. The chatter works according to the controller frequency chosen. Hi, I just moved to a new computer with Windows 11, re-installed XP12 and Pilot2ATC (v.2.7.0.1), but when I need to adjust the volume, the radio com pop-up window with the controls, does not show. First time I hit the standby frequency, I see a short "blink" in the usual position, where I would normally see the pop-up window, but it disappears again in less than a second, and then nothing more happens. The similar function for Nav frequencies works ok, where the window pops up when I hit the standby frequency.. Is this a known problem?

I've done a number of searches and can't find any discussion about this. Apologies if it is well-trodden ground and just point me to the appropriate thread, if so. I am running Windows 11 and - every time I boot up - I get a pop-up telling me that MS will not be supporting Windows Speech Recognition in future upgrades. Instead, they invite me to try 'voice access' (yes - they seem to use lower case), which I did try once but couldn't get it to work properly. hello , would the dev be working on a new gui , more user friendly PILOT2ATC main program , for the money being charged the program looks RETRO 1980 style , no offence just my 2 cents that it can be improved with more user friendly drop down and some sort of a graphical interface , maybe you have it planned or not but i think in this day n age its a must ,Also no one really res pods to any query / questions on discord .

I have to say, this is starting to get me down. Over the last few months I've clambered up the, admittedly pre-warned, steep learning curve: I've successfully battled with the installation; re-learned how to speak, what speed, what accent, what words; learned the unforgiving sequence of boot-up; learned what and when I have to run stuff as administrator. And eventually got at least a month's worth of excellent ATC flying in. Not willing to trust my memory, I did myself a boot-up sequence checklist that I follow religiously to ensure it actually works. So all great. Hi Dave 🙂 Would it be possible to implement the possibility of assigning a joystick button to make the "Speech Assistant Windows" window appear and disappear in the P2A options (toggle button functionality). The keyboard shortcut sometimes no longer works and I have to choose another keyboard shortcut.

Hi Dave, Last night I was assigned an RNAV approach that is an RNP approach. It's not an approach I can do in the TDS GTNxi and so I tried requesting an ILS, but it was denied due to the winds at the time. I couldn't figure out how to request a different RNAV into the SE runway, and when I requested an RNAV to the active runway, I didn't get a response. Is there a way to configure the app to not assign RNP approaches, or to change within the type of approach that's assigned (from Y to Z, for example)? Thanks.

When I use the Travel To command, I get unusual results. If I Travel To the Descent, I’m typically off course quite a bit. But then the ATC gives me a vector that takes me even further off course than I already was. Seems like the ATC should do something to place you back on the original course or something like that, I’m not a real pilot so I don’t know for sure.

i have noticed on my current flight numerous times even if the co pilot responds to the radio , ATC does not reply , nothing multiple times i have seen this happen , either those grammer commands are not present i have the latest version of the program dont know why its not working , also the program crashes 1 or 2 times per flight and i have to load it all again

hi , i am new to pilot2atc - i wanted to know is their a easier way to get the readbacks correctly - like a dedicatedf small window which i can drag around which shows what i have to say to the program , in youtube videos i have seen ppl use 3rd party software which shows the provided feedback such as sky4sim etc also a tutorial if possible to add more voices - prenium ones which are not that expensive . thx

I am making progress everyday in trying to set-up and use P2A. (A lot of subtelties are not on the documentation/videos that I have read and seen so far). So I search AVSIM. I haven’t found what I am looking for yet (up to page 6 in the Forum). This might not be my last post, but it is my question for tonight. Here is the situation: I have P2A running. I made a FP with it. It is saved, validated, filed after having P2A connected to X-Plane (running). On the G1000 (DA-42 is the plane), I load the FP just filed by P2A. The frequencies are ‘on’. The yellow plane on the P2A map moves as the DA-42 flies its flightplan on X-Plane. All seems well…

I have been experimenting with ways to get P2A to clear me for a full approach. It seems to REALLY want to give me vectors. I have been using an intersection WENDI at KRDU which is a convienient spot for the downwind leg as I fly back toward my iaf BEICH for ILS rwy 05R. I have tried a number of scenerios without success and finally put together one that finally worked: Create and file a flight plan: KRDU->WENDI->ILS RW05R.BEICH I kept expecting ATC to give me "Expect ILS RW05" as I got close to WENDI but it never happened. Will the discontinuation of the standard voices in Microsoft affect Pilot2ATC? Per this article by Microsoft: Upgrade to Text-to-Speech Neural Voice  by 31 August 2024 | Azure updates | Microsoft Azure I assume it will but I'm not sure if these are the same voices I select in my settings, etc.
