I am trying to get the commands that I have to give, eg request clearance, ready to taxi on to a stream deck. I have installed a Text to Speech plug in that allows me to type in the text and it does indeed say it for me. The trouble is that P2ATC does not recognise it. Does anyone know if indeed it is possible to achieve what I want to do? Also, I have co-pilot ticked to use the radios, so what are the commands that I have to say that the co pilot wont. Thanks in advance for any replies.

Tried to use Data management for AIRAC data conversion ( get message at top of pilot2atc) , When I click on data Mnt , Pilot2ATC freezes and need restarting. Rgds Any solution ?

One of those programs that I derive great pleasure from. It greatly enhances my flight sim experience. One of those programs you can't do without. And I appreciate Dave et al for such a worthy addition. Thank you.

I use P2A V 2.7.02 and in Little Navmap I have exported a flightplan to MSFS2024. Result is I have flightplan in *.pln format. If I import this flightplan in P2A only the departure and arrival airport are included in the flightplan. Why ?

Hi, I'm a user of x plane 12. I have always used pilot2atc before version 2 now version 3. With the latter I am encountering quite a few problems. when I am in flight "center" does not tell me to change frequency example: "marsiglia center" when I am in the territory of competence "milano center" does not tell me to change to "milano center". also very often, near the "tod" it does not even tell me to descend. same problem in approach and landing. "approach" never contacts me, I am always the one who has to contact it, warning it that I am entering the final phase without any response. furthermore it does not tell me to change frequency to "tower" even when I am nea…

Hi Dave, I have entered a flight plan created with Simbrief in P2ATC. I then took off and was in the air. On my weather radar ( ToLiss A320 neo ) I see a bad weather area in my flight path. I want to avoid this area, so I have to change my planned flight route for a certain distance. How can I do this with P2ATC? I have to inform the air traffic controller somehow and then resume the original course later. Greetings Andreas

Hi Dave and all, I'm still getting to grips with P2A...Quite often I will fly out of my local airport, EGCC Manchester. There are normally altitude restrictions of 5000 ft on the SIDS. P2A assigns me an initial altitude of FL100 or FL1200. However I am then getting asked to descend back down to 5000 ft to meet the alt restrictions. is there any way of avoiding this? I've learned that I can double click onto a waypoint in the filightplan and that brings up a box to alter the target altitude, but not to change alt restrictions. Can I perhaps request a direct to waypoint that will bypass this? Many thanks, Rory

Hi, I'm a long time fan and user of Pilot2Atc and it's still with me in MSFS. For IFR flights, I use a lot the great Fenix A320. As English is not my native language and as I set a large bunch of ATC voices with non English accents , frequently I don't hear correctly important items. As I fly exclusively with a VR headset, it's an immersion breaking when I need to switch to P2A window in the desktop and read what I missed. So I had the following idea: why can't we use Hoppie ACARS system to interpret and upload main P2A messages in the ARCDU display (Fenix implements Hoppie ACARS)? Hi, I am really enjoying the trial version of P2A, and will certainly buy a licence! At the moment I have a very cheap microphone that connects to the phone jack. However, I want to buy a USB microphone, and as I never normally go near a mic, do you know if I will have any issues with one of these and P2A? Many thanks, Rory

Hi all, As above, I have just downloaded and installed version 3. I'm really not a lover of using speech recognition, and would like to know if I can use the software in the same way I currently use Radar Contact and PF3, just by using button control? App intermittently stop responding, especially when asking for taxi instructions. If I right-click on the taskbar icon, I get the EXIT? message, I select no, and P2A is back to normal... Weird. Windows 11, latest beta. This is a fresh install from a full fresh Windows 11 install...

I am new to P2A and am on a 10 day trial. It does not appear that P2A is a full AI system like Beyond ATC or Say Intentions. Could someone clarify this for me please. It seems that my communications have to be completely based on my flight plan and where the aircraft is at the time.

The usual "import most recent plan" is not working... FP stays blank. Importing text is okay though... 0.1.5B. Windows 11

When I try to connect the P2A to game, it says connected at the bottom right chat but It still says CONNECT at the bottom of the callsign and I can't see my plane on the map and cannot connect to ATC. It recognises my aircraft's power and if I click to Center Plane On Map it does, but I still cannot see the plane and other planes. I downloaded XPUIPC and setup my IP

How does the "Activate Appr" button function in V3? If I want to fly to the IAF and execute the entire approach procedure, how is that done? I filed to the IAF for the RNAV Z 33 to LOWS, which is a tricky approach in mountainous terrain, and P2ATC kept trying to vector me into the cumulogranite clouds surrounding the field. I imported the route from Simbrief, then loaded the procedure and transition from KONUG in P2ATC, but it still tried to vector me rather than giving me clearance for the approach from the IAF.

Hi, I recently updated to v 0.1.2 and have since encountered some anomalies. For example, on my last flight LEAM-LEMG, I received permission to taxi and hold short at RWY 25 at Almerìa. As I approached the runway I was asked to contact tower on 118.350 which was done and I requested clearance to depart three times but didn’t receive a reply. So I chose the “take off” option from “Copilot options list” and pressed to speak. I heard the copilot speak the words but the text did not appear on screen and again I didn’t get a reply from the tower, so I took off anyway. On climb out, ATC resumed as normal. Hallo, I've been using both Versions of P2ATC with no issues so far. But I'm not able to get the combination of V2 with the Inibuilds A350 in MSFS2020 to work. It doesn't switch the frequencies automatically no matter which preferences I set in P2ATC. If anybody has the same problem, then I'd appreciate any advice. I haven't tried V3 yet for I somehow still prefer V2. Thanks and greetings from Germany.....

Hi all flightsimlovers , Have a problem with the additional controller voices , that (quickly) were installed in P2A version 3. Anyway, only the SAPI desktop controller voices (Zira , David , Hazel ) are always there , but the other so called "online" voices , I have about 15 of them in the dropdown menu , refuse to work in too many flights . What I hear then is the distortion sound . But , surprice , the Copilot can hear it though and responses ... I am using P2A 3.0.0.0 v 30n and Windows 11 v24N2 (latest update)

Obviously chatter runs at one speed (normal for ATC). But the FO interactions are s-l-o-w as are the ATC instructions. Is there any way to increase speed of speech? Perhaps something outside of pilot2atc?

How does this program handle navigation data? For example, if I don’t have an active subscription to the latest nav data and instead use the default navigation data that comes with MSFS 2024, will the program be able to utilize it?

Hi, Thanks for a wonderful addon! It's just what I've been looking for, but... I was hoping for a more detailed instruction manual on exactly how to use your frmSpeechTrainer. Specifically, which button does what and in what order do I need to be going through things? Am I recording a sound pack of my own voice or am I just practicing saything everything in the format and syntax that Pilot2ATC is expecting to hear? In Practice mode, when I turn off practice mode, am I then recording my own voice to the use with the ATC? I think you know where I'm going with this. I hope someone can help explain something to me that has been on my mind for a while. Why is that when I have a STAR programmed into my FMS and it all looks OK in terms of the flight plan, that ATC takes over on approach and gives me different vectors to line line up with the same runway. Is there a reason why it doesn’t follow the flight plan? One of my settings for example? It’s not a massive issue as I ultimately end up in the same place , but just wondered why this happens .
