Does one have to ask (Pilot2)ATC for permission to descend from cruise or is the fact that the flight plan includes a star (with its descent / altitude limitations) adequate? Can one just go down? My problem (in life, not just ATC!) is that I'm never quite sure what I am meant to do.

I have P2A version 2.7.0.2 and the Sids & Stars work great with Navigraph. They all match. But on my Trail version of P2A Version 3, I cant get them to match. Everything has been updated via the Navigraph Data Manager and I`m running the same Airac cycle on everything. This example is EIDW , Star VATR1R showing on P2A and Navigraph shows VATR3R. Can someone point me in the right direction on what I`m missing? Thanks.

Hi Dave and everyone on this forum, I have been eagerly waiting for Oceanic ATC control such as Shanwick and Gander Atlantic oceanic control, to be simulated on Pilot2ATC for a long time now. I think v3 does have it. Am I correct? 🙂

The additional voices and UI are brilliant. Thank you for all your hard work. I'd still love to see a VR panel for MSFS. (Not sure how one would manage it for XPlane, but I'd love to see one for that as well) The process for updating AIRACs are a bit wonky for me in XP, but not unsurmountably so. So far, those are my only suggestions. Excellent work!

I get the error message: Sorry, your transaction could not be processed... Error: Payment Capture Failed with status: Capture Upgrade Order Failed. New customer cannot order upgrade. This makes no sense. My serial # is valid. My payment information is valid. What gives?

If I add my callsign to the aircraft profile I can't get v3 to use it, tried both as GA & Airline - Callsign is Walker 2457 which is my VA ID, I use it every flight. If I put it all in as a GA Callsign then using the copilot I get referred to as "Beech [something or other]", if I put it in as Airline then it calls me "Delta [something or other]". Tried various formats but no joy as yet, any suggestions appreciated. Cheers, G

I just came back from 6 months abroad... I come to find a new P2ATC version! Awesome! I purchased, no problem, but the AIRAC is 1801. How do I update the AIRAC? Thats stupid question 1. Stupid question 2 is, Am I safe to remove P2ATC Version2?

Is it possible to run both v2 and v3 on the same networked auxilliary computer if you already have v2 installed and purchase a full license to v3? Either one woul be used at a time--nor simultaneously. Would there be conflicts even if running only one version at a time?

V3 looks amazing but are there any plans to support directing AI traffic? I know some rival ATC products are planning this feature so I hope P2ATc is too 😁

Hi All, I've just signed up to ElevenLabs to make use of the free voices (up to 10,000 characters per month) for Self Loading Cargo. SLC uses the ElevenLabs API to make use of the voices. Is it possible to do similar with Pilot2ATC or am I stuck with the voices I physically have downloaded and installed within Windows?

So far, determined FSX must run in windowed mode for Pilot2ATC to be on top. Realized clicking on window pauses background app (FSX). fixed that with pause on task unchecked. but... pauses the sound output of sim. cant find in windows 11 how to keep background app (FSX) sounds to keep playing. i really would rather run FSX in full screen mode by the way. but doesnt let Pilot2ATC to be on top. what can i do?

I usually only only fly GA aircraft in VFR conditions. When lodging a flight plan from an uncontrolled airport to a controlled airport, will I automactically be told by Centre to switch freq's and contact app/tower or am I expected to switch freq's myself when nearing the destinatiion? For those with problems to import text file from SiemBrief to Pilot2ATC, I found out that is best not to use you CTRL-C instead just click use the provided "copy" tab in SiemBrief then paste to your Pilot2ATC. It appears that the wrong format gets copied when you use any other type of paste and copy and you will get an error " Unable to copy.... format" when you click import in Pilot2ATC to import a flight plan. I've run into this a few times over the years but ran into it again on a flight today. Flying at cruise, no issues, get a handoff from ATC to a new center frequency. Change to that frequency, in the standby window it shows it as a center frequency. Toggle it to active, and its the same frequency but is now Airport X (in this case Munich Center became ETIH Info) At that point, ATC wont acknowledge me when I report in. Wondering what I should do in this situation, how to get around it, etc... Flight was LFSB - EPKK. Hand off was from Vienna Center (124.4) to Munich (120.65). Munich is showing as ETIH Info.

If I enable copilot options for Responds to radio and also changes frequencies, all works great. If I just enable copilot changes frequencies only and I handle the comms, the copilot will change the frequency maybe twice during the whole flight. I looked at the log and it seems my readbacks of the frequencies are seldom correct. Does the program need my frequency readback to be correct or is it supposed to change the frequency regardless of my readback?

I adore it as I am disabled so the common methods of adjustment which don't utilize the keypad are more difficult to use & to be precise. Why is it some aircraft work with it flawlessly while others have differing excentricities? Rolling a mouse wheel, or every function works except for something such as IAS or Heading confounds me. Any ideas? FSUIPC mapping?

HI Dave. Recently i bought FSS EJets 190 and I had problem with Pilot2ATC. ATIS does not take in account and all the phrases Copilot Request information Report are white nothing. I decided to use another plane and it seems that it works but Do-you have an idea with this addon FSS? Normaly it shall be release in December it is in Early access now. Here is my log file today. 1-The flight pan is correctly entry all parameters are good. 2-I can follow the plane on the map but without frequency. Everything has gone well so far after I adjusted the taxiways and parking spots via the menu in P2Atc. In EDDL, however, I still get the information (xp 12) to change to the tower frequency. However, this no longer happens automatically. If I select the tower frequency manually and say ready for departure via sayit, I get no response. Even on other flights I no longer receive a response from atc or very late, although I am already on approach. I have done a restart. Once during the flight disconnect and reconnect helped. I have had this problem for 3 days. Before that I swapped two voices for atc stations once. But nothing else changed. In the log file it says in various …

Hello folks, looking for some further advice, this time re the transponder, and the Copilot action to automatically change this. I have noticed that P2ATC no longer does this although the check box is ticked. The radio frequencies change, and the copilot responds to the radio as desired, but not the transponder. I am mainly using Toliss aircraft and the JD Coilot add on and was wondering if there is perhaps a connection? Any obvious reason why the transponder would not change automatically? I am sure it used to. Have been living with this for quite a while now, so can't recall when it stopped working. Thanks BTW, this is till bt far one of the best X-P…
