Before I fork out money I would like to know if I can run Pilot2ATC alongside FS2Crew? As they both use voice commands I am thinking no but maybe someone knows for sure and how to set it up so that it doesn't interfere with FS2Crew. Thanks.

I've pointed the program to my install of FS-ATC Chatter/controllers yet the checkbox to enable chatter does not engage. I also tried copying the contents of the folder and placing it in Pilot2atc/sounds. Thanks in advance.

As i cannot request taxi or departure on smaller german airports, maybe I run into this issue in V3: Asking for QNH, weather, ... or opening a flight plan is possible but not requesting taxi or departure on german airports with "ED... Radio". Works in EGEO (Scotland) as this is "EGEO Info". Navigraph was updated to 2501 after installation of P2A V3

Hi Dave, I read somewhere in another bug report that the data maintenance part of V3 is not yet implemented so I'm not filing this as a bug, more of a question (for XP12). I mostly fly out of an airport that is severely botched in the default scenery and in the Gateway, so I made my own changes through WED, but I cannot get them to work in V3. I can import them just fine in V2. Is there a way to update V3 with V2 data until Data Mnt is up and running? Bonus question: Any ETA on a working Data Mnt? 😄 Thanks!

Win 11, X-plane 12, P2ATV v3, Hi, Having recently added a "FlightSimBuilder" G1000 PFD & MFD glass panels to my rig, I find that occasionally both P2ATC v3 slows and the G1000 screens become jerky at certain points of flight but mainly take off and climb. At that point I took a look the task manager and P2ATC CPU usage was peaking around 65%. By shutting P2ATC down the refresh rate on the G1000 returns to normal. As an experiment I reverted back to P2ATC v2 to compare and the problem doesn't arise. With v2 the CPU average <4% peaking occasionally to a little higher. Any comments would be useful. Thanks

We just released the Early Access version of Pilot2ATC v3.0. It's available on the website at V3 Downloads (pilot2atc.com) It may be a few days before we get the Purchase Page to work properly, but we wanted to give you the chance to download and take V3 for a test drive. It is a totally new technology and there will likely be some bugs in the Early Access versions, but we done a lot of testing and it seems stable. Is it possible to add locations so that P2ATC will recognise them if you create a flight plan. For example, offshore platforms if the have a dedicated way point, ID etc currently not in the 'data base'. Any advice would be appreciated.

I have used Pilot2ATC version 2 for a couple of years and started my trial version of v3 a couple of days ago. So far, so good! Right, in the Pilolt2ATC documentation, it seems it's possible to set an aircraft's com radio to either 25 or 8.33 spacing. This option is not available in the trial version. Has the 8.33 option been redacted? On the plus side, those women in Shoreham no longer tell me I'm garbled! As I lived near Shoreham for about 30 years, this is a relief! 😀

Dave, I read the following from an archived thread and was curious if there have been any changes made in this regard in P2ATC v3: Having been a Radar Contact 4 user for ~20 years, I have grown accustomed to requesting and flying full IAP ILS approaches without vectors from atc, for the majority of my airline flights. I'm hoping Pilot2ATC v3 will routinely afford me the same option. Thanks.

I'm awaiting delivery of a headset I ordered for use with Pilot2ATC v3 & XP12. First time to ever use voice. I've been a Radar Contact 4 user since 2004. I am a little confused, as I am hoping to use my new headset for atc communications and leave my nice audio system as the default windows 10 audio output for all XP12 sounds. Everything I've read tells me that for use with Pilot2ATC, the headset must be set up as the default audio devices. Is this correct? Or perhaps I can use the headphones as non-default audio output, selected in the output window of Pilot2ATC and mic as default input device. Then again, why can't I select headset mic as alternate input …

For some time, I've noticed that P2ATC has been really flaky and intermittent when giving after-landing taxi instructions to a desired gate. It appears that the issue goes back to the Makerwys utility, which extracts gate data and creates the g5.csv file that enumerates all the gates in the user's scenery config. Makerwys is capturing the gate info for default airports, but it is *not* then replacing the default gate info when a third-party add-on airport is present--in both MSFS 2020 and 2024. From my perusal of the source code, I don't think it ever has gotten this correct in MSFS (but it is still working in the ESP sims--P3D, FSX, FS9). So getting good taxi…

The other day I tried letting P2A assign the approach and now I have a question. I was arriving via ANJLL4 to RWY 25L in KLAX and was assigned ILS 25L but without a transition. ILS 25L has 5 different IAFs. Once I got to the last waypoint of the ANJLL4 arrival which happens to be CRCUS I was given a direct to HUNDA. This was unusual since I could have joined the ILS at CRCUS. I verbally requested the CRCUS transition but P2A didn’t understand. So I went to set the request via the P2A menu so that P2A would verbally request the approach, but there is no option to add an approach transition to the request. Are approach transitions not implemented in P2A verbal requests…

My XP completely froze - well my whole system froze. Re-loaded everything. P2A settings were completely wiped out back to default. So I restored a backup, which had no effect... C:\Users\xxx\AppData\Roaming\P2A_300\Settings How do I backup my settings please? Thank you

windows 11. I downloaded and tried running the .exe with and without adminstrator mode and it hangs on the "creating directories" screen. I am simply running the .exe overtop of the existing install, as advised.

Just wondering how folks are getting on with the new Navigraph auto updater feature . Tried it today, however I got stuck at the Navigraph log in screen. Basically the P2ATC Utility screen was overlayed on the Navigraph log in screen so I couldn’t do anything. P2ATC then wouldn’t close and had to go to Windows Task menu. I then used the manual update option and that seemed to work as previously. Anyone else been having issues? Thanks

Could you please add the freq swap sound when you have co-pilot swap enabled. it works if you swap manually, but not when co-pilot does it. Thank you

I took off from RWY24R via ORCKA5 SID out of KLAX, this chart has left turn vectors from all runways to KLIPR. But P2A V3 is giving me vectors to turn right, which doesn’t match real life operations. P2A v2 vectors you correctly to the left.

Hi, I fly the Concorde in P3d. In the V2 I would set a altitude variation of 6000 and request FL 550, as concorde was assigned a block altitude between FL500&FL600. This allowed me to get to the block altitude and it do it's gradual 'Cruise Climb' without issue. In V3 I can select a MAX of 1000 feet variance. Is there either the option to have a block altitude, or add a greater altitude variance please? Thanks.. Have been using the latest version without any issues since it came out. But now whenever I try to start P2ATC I get this error message: "Internet Access Problem. Unable to initiate session with License Server. Please check your internet connection and security settings to be sure Piot2ATC has access to the web." My internet connection is working fine, and I haven't changed any security settings or made any other changes to my PC. And now I also can't get to the pilot2atc.com site to open. Anyone know what's going on?

Not sure if this is the most appropriate place, but I just wanted to say thanks for V3. Upgraded my PC recently and when reloading all the various bits and bobs, decided to go all in with V3. The UI and the various tabs and menus took a little while to get the hang of, but no regrets, works great, some nice new features, and in fact I am sure a little smoother than v2, which was great BTW. Anyway, just wanted to share my appreciation. 🙂 Keep up the great work as still one of the best sim add ons available IMHO.

Hello folks, Does XP12 real weather work in V3.0? Apologies, it isn't totally clear to me. In settings under WX I see SIM Weather (Not Available for X-Plane), but the XP Root folder link option is listed. Could someone confirm if this is an option, and if so how to set up? Many thanks..
