Hi all- Using MSFS. I'm trying to get Pilot2ATC working; I bought it a few years ago but never really used it much. I have no problem starting it up, and have 2.7.02 installed. When trying to connect to FSUIPC (current), I get the following error and am not sure how to troubleshoot this... TIA

Hello Dave, I have successfully completed many flights with Pilot2ATC. It's really fun 🙂 But there is one thing I often notice. I use X-Plane 12 and Traffic Global. My flight planning is done. The flight plan has been submitted and confirmed in Pilot2ATC. The process has progressed to pushback. The necessary approvals from Pilot2ATC have also all been given. All good so far. Now the runway for take-off is changing in Traffic Global (this happens frequently, in reality the runway also changes from time to time). Can I change the runway for departure at this point without having to reconfirm the flight plan? Simply inform Pilot2ATC that the runway has changed? An…

Hello folks, looking for some advice on how to get the gate /stand I would prefer at the end of my flight after landing. If I ask to taxi to gate, I often get random gates far from anywhere , so is there a way to specify a gate of my choosing? Many thanks… I should mention I have tried specifying the gate number, but it doesn't always work... is there anything specific I need to do?

Good afternoon, Been trying a few times to depart from KORD with clearance from tower but for some reason, I am not getting it. I looked at the taxi maintenance part of the the program and have since made a few adjustments but have not tried since. Could the taxi stuff be the culprit or something else. Hello, today I am unable to set assigned voices, when I try to set voices for the copilot, the dropbox for each controller remain blank. I tried to delete Appconfig but no effect? Thanks for your comments

Hello! Today I've installed P2ATC Navigraph and started my trial to test it. When I'm trying to open it, I get the error. Even if i press OK and continue, nothing else in the interface works. I've found some info that it's because of missing file. Even though I've tried different versions, reinstallation, update .exe file nothing seems to work.

A german X-Plane user asked my help, for some unknown reason one of the menus won't appear. We syncronized our P2A Step by step with identical figures up to the following point: First i show a screenshot of the normal, functioning case, wich is my own: when clicking on the entry "Clearance", the menu changes into a list of other entries e.g. "ready to copy IFR clearance". But at my friends machine this list is empty ! Therefore he is stuck and the prgram cannot move further. How can that be? Is there an error with the CallSign?

Since I find SayIntentions too expensive, and wanted Pilot2ATC to sound a bit better, I came up with an elegant solution I believe. I have written a Python script, which effectively evaluates the text output of Pilot2ATC (needs to be enabled), reads what ATC actually said, pipes into one of Amazon's cool Polly voices, and then plays it for you. I've had this on a couple of flights where there hasn't been a STAR, ATC doesn't tell you what approach it assigns you (unless I've completely missed it somewhere, but can't see it in the log) .. .. first you know is when it clears you for the approach .. .. In x-plane 12 I get weird taxi routing in at least two airports KSAN and KSBA, where I get instructions to cross the runway assigned for takeoff and taxi along the other side of the runway. I tried to edit the airport taxiways without luck as I don’t understand the P2A logic. What is there in the taxi paths that is making P2A choose to cross the target runway unnecessarily, which is not the shorter or most logical taxi route?

After purchasing P2ATC, an issue has come up. During my last 2 flights I seem to have lost the microphones ability to talk on climbing. During the flight, I checked the hardware and it was working, and I even used the training module to speak and it worked during flight. Also the connection was still good and the SayIt worked. My only recourse was to exit P2ATC and restart it. After downloading the FPLN, verifying it and filing it, P2ATC picked up where it left off and my microphone was working for the rest of the flight. Do you have any suggestions? Can you help?

I have the problem that the contact point for take-off is not always where it should be. This means that sometimes you don't get clearance for take-off and then take off without clearance. EDDL RW 23L for example. Sometimes the departure controller makes contact anyway. Sometimes you don't get a reply from ATC for the rest of the flight. I have already tried many things. I still use the old Radarcontact, back then in FS9, still usable today in XPlane 12. It always recognises when you are approaching the selected runway. Everything works without any problems. However, Radarcontact does not provide taxiways and does not always recognise the new runways or new airports. Pilo…

What's the best way to move the P2ATC installation from one disk to another while keeping all my settings (for X-Plane)? (save : .../Users/xxx/AppData/Roaming/P2A200/*.* .../Pilot2ATC/Data/P2ABackup/*.* .../Pilot2ATC/Data/Docs/*.* + ??? Reinstall and copy these files? or otherwise? Lately I'm using sim audio on monitor speakers and communications audio on headphones (bluetooth), configuring for that, the headphones as the "Speech Output Device" on Pilot2ATC and everything work as expected. But for this, I need to connect my headphones before I start Pilot2ATC, or the headphones will not appear as an option on the "Speech Output Device" drop down list. Sometimes I forget to connect the headphones before Pilot2ATC and when I have everything prepared to start my flight, I realize that I can't use the headphones unless I restart Pilot2ATC and lose all the flight preparation. So, my question is: Is there a workaround that I don't know ? …

I make a flight plan in Little NavMap. I designate an ILS runway. I start the sim. I load the flight plan. The flight plan reflects the correct ILS runway. I load the same flight plan into Pilot2ATC. The flight plan reflects the correct ILS runway. I start the flight. The GPS reflects the correct runway. But when I get close to the destination, I start getting ATC vectors for a completely different runway. In Pilot2ATC configuration I have UNCHECKED the three "ATC Assigns" things. I have also CHECKED the force runway thing. Does anyone know what is wrong? Thanks. Michael

Once I load P2A my space bar stops working in my flight plans etc. Stopping PATC restores it ok

I will try to explain the issue with the following two simple examples (validating on each step, to get TOD): Example 1: 1) Assume that we import the following flight plan: LPPT GEBTI LPFR (Distances displayed are: LPPT -> 93.4 NM -> TOD -> 34 NM -> GEBTI -> 13.5 NM -> LPFR) - Correct distances 2) Now if we add waypoint MONUR: (Distances displayed are: LPPT -> 127.4 NM -> GEBTI -> 117.2 NM -> MONUR -> 60.2 NM -> TOD -> 49 NM -> LPFR) - Correct distances but MONUR needs to be moved up 3) If now we move up MONUR to correct it's position, we get: (Distances displayed are: LPPT -> 117.2 NM -> MONUR -> 56.…

A few times, recently, ATC has directed me taxi to and hold midway at a runway. In the image, I wanted to, and was granted taxing permission to, taxi to R28, via B, D and hold short of runway 28/10 - whatever the instruction precisely was. Do I automagically have permission to backtrack along in the 100 direction or not? If not, how do I gain that permission? Hi As the title suggests, Pilot2ATC is going really well for me after @Dave-Pilot2ATC 's and other members help a few weeks ago. And I'm loving it!! My next major breakthrough after getting the basic set up correct, as admittedly pointed out in the instructions, was to get the P2A Language Training working. And WHAT a difference - no more repeating of instructions needed, P2A understands now and responds pretty much first time, every time to my attempts at communication with ATC. Hi Folks I have noticed that when I'm in the Caribbean (I mainly flight out of TJSJ San Juan Puerto Rico airport) ATCChatter doesn't work. I'm using the Regions controllers folders, it only happens when I'm in the islands in the Caribbean on other places it works fine. Any idea what I need to do, if I open the FS-ATC-Chatter Application it works fine, but for the P2ATC ATCChatter doesn't. Hi Dave and pilots Sometimes my Pilot2ATC disconnected in Flightpan route, but I do not think that it is the software. I used it on a second Monitor and move the mouse sometimes to see phrases and use copilot and MSFS2020 is not excellent in that case on second monitor. And generaly if i do not touch with mouse this second monitor all is correct and i can follow all the route without problem But it is not about that I post In that case I launch again Pilot2ATC, reconnect SimBrief SID STAR and APR and I am in the new flight without vocal ATC. seems normal because I do not have clearance i suppose What solutions could you give me if I want to fly a…

hello , its just a simple suggestion if it would be possible to overhaul the overall look of the program ,its 1980 looks , clunky , if you can make it more user friendly , it kinda gets stuck when you validate a large flight plan same for filing , voice recognition even after multiple grammer testing is still not that good . thx

Hi-when I had P3Dv5.4 on a Windows 7 flight computer and Pilot2ATC on on a networked Windows 7 computer all worked well, including the PTT on my flight computer yoke. I edited the .ini files with FSUIPC per P2ATC documents as the method to do this. P2ATC works fine now networked on a client computer using Windows 11 and the sim on Windows 10 on the client. The only thing I can't get to work is the PTT on the flight sim yoke. F12 works fine on the P2ATC as a PTT button button but I can't get the yoke's button to do a PTT using the FSUIPC method from the existing instruction manual. If anyone has figured out how to do this, please provide details. Thanks much.

When I tried to do a flight from RJCC (New Chitose) to RJTT (Haneda), I can't get a clearance because the program thinks that I am at RJCJ (Chitose Air Base) and just says "flight plan does not originate from this airport" because I am actually closer to it when I am at the gate. Is there any way to fix it?
