Hi all, I was wondering if anyone had any flight charts for CYWG. The only ones I can find online are from Back before 2008. The airport I have i downloaded a short time back for fs9 and the charts and airport diagram I have for the airport don’t match up very well at all. As of now I am using a screenshot from Google Earth of the airport for taxi purposes. I just did a flight into the airport yesterday for runway 18 and the approach givenOn the chart I have and from my FMC had me coming in at an angle. Anyways, if anybody can provide some new charts I would appreciate it. Thanks Chris [email protected]

I am having trouble finding a suitable approach that will connect to this following flight plan: KSEA HAROB6 ERAVE Q1 ETCHY MLBEC BDEGA3 KSFO This flight plan will be used for the A320 and also the TBM 930. For the A320 I am selecting the ILS28R CAT II and III approach, but the lines don't seem to line up. The last waypoint on the BDEGA3 STAR is BRIXX, but can't find an approach that will connect from it. What am I doing wrong? Perhaps I am choosing the wrong STAR for that runway? I am trying to replicate a real world route as shown here - https://flightaware.com/live/flight/ASA1332/history/20201024/0430Z/KSEA/KSFO The problem is I have no idea which runwa…

I recently bought BBS Widebody (A330 and 340). The FMC data is from 2012 and I would need Navigraph to update the files. I believe that I'd need to do the same for my QW 146/RJ FMCs also. I don't think there's any other way. I presume I would still use online flight planner or flightplan database to create plans to input into the FMCs because the Navigraph subscription "only" gives me the correct database. Is that correct? I use Herve Sors navdata to update the sim (airports and navaids).

I thought I`d share this live link for EHAM Schiphol, I use it a lot when I generate real life flights in Simbrief. https://www.schiphol.nl/en/departures/ Has anyone by any chance got the same for other International Airports? Would be much appreciated. Cheers.

Hello, Are any of you aware of a way of finding past arrival & departure information for a given airport? I tend to look at Flightradar24's routes pages for a specific airport when deciding which airline flight to simulate next but this only shows flights that are scheduled for the next seven days. Given the hugely reduced number of flights flying at the moment, I'd love to be able to find similar information for, say, this time last year. I've found a few websites with very old timetables, but nothing from the recent past. Any ideas? Thanks, Filbert

I'm looking for flight plans that I can follow. Like flying Alaska as a mail carrier, for example, or flying through Africa as a doctor. Mainly with small planes. does anyone have an idea where I can find such adventures? Because I don't like just fly through the area, senselessly. Thanks a lot. Machete2punkt0

I am new to RNav and I cant seem to find any decent caravan rnav approach videos so I ve got a question . I am mid flight approaching the first and only waypoint before the airport.. I assume after I make that turn for the airport which is 15 miles away that i need to press APR if i want the gps to control my decent.. SOO do I need to turn ALT off ? does it matter? I am under the impression that RNAV will practically put me on the runway? Thanks in advance and sorry if this is on the wrong forum.

Greetings fellow virtual pilots (and some of you real ones). Question for you.. I just got the NaviGraph subscription and am happy to have current data and world wide charts for my IFR flights 🙂 Nice! Planning the flights can be tricky. First, I use Pilot2ATC for my ATC (no doubt a great option). I am also using the new MSFS 2020 (but my question really does not depend on the sim). I started off all excited and tried to build some flight plans with NaviGraph. It works. But, can be very confusing in some ways, just in terms of the interface etc. It also does nothing in terms of giving current weather / active runways in use.. so, I still u…

Hi all— if you're a weirdo like me and prefer to work with the command line, you may be interested in this suite of CLI tools I've made for flight sim planning, called Icarus. DL link: https://github.com/musurca/Icarus Using Icarus from the command line, you can: * quickly pull up information about runways, navaids, LOC/DME freqs, etc. * download all published charts for an airport * get a current METAR * get a correct magnetic heading and distance from one navaid to another * download and decode/expand airport remarks * find the shortest route between two points, given the maximum range of your aircraft * calculate wind aloft * etc. I st…

Flying my Mooney M20R in MSFS tonight and the garmin gps froze up again... Opened up sky vector to navigate on my Alaskan bush trip old school style and noticed WX cams on the VFR map legend. A quick internet search gave me the following: https://avcams.faa.gov/index.php Behold, live weather cams for Alaska and some other locations in the US. Great flight planning tool and useful for comparing sim to real weather.

I would like to know if other flyers in fs2020 find any problems when landing with ILS after the recent upgrade Microsoft. When I try to land an ILS approach when flying a flight plan created either from the Welcome SCREEN or FMC and line up by using LOC or VNAV I press Appr. button and it activates to G/S but a few moments later automatically GOES to LOC I can not force back to ILS mode by clicking Apps. button again and again. Some time I can get back to G/S position but it's too late - the aircraft is already near the Rwy.treshold. or sometime over the Runway

Hi, I hope I’m asking this question in the right forum — apologies if not. My request falls between the gaps a little— but I’m trying out different EFB tools on my iPad. ForeFlight seems a little too expensive for my (sim) flying needs so I’ve been using Stratus Insight lately which I’m happy with. However I fly using headphones, connected to my pc, but this means I can’t use hear the audio from my iPad app, which is useful for checklists, and other callouts. Does anyone know how I can connect the audio from my iPad directly to my PC so that I can hear all audio through a single source? Thanks for any help! Redge

The sim I am using is FS2020. I really want to learn how to navigate from point a to point b. I can land and take off just fine. There are two GA airports near me but I have never actually been to them. They are about 10 miles from each other. Santa Paula (KSZP) and Camarillo (KCMA). I fly the Cessna 172 G1000 in the sim generally. If I create a flight plan from KSZP to KCMA, the flight plan details basically show an ascent to a certain altitude, then proceed on a given heading for a specific distance and then a descent but this does not really help me too much as I do not have details about how to approach the destination's runway etc. so I tend to fly right…

Hi, I'm very new to flight sim and I am trying to learn to fly the airbus a320 using the great tutorials people are putting up. There is one thing that doesn't get said. How do I find out the MDA(minimum desent altitude). When I enter the weather information into the MCDU thats the only bit I dont know what to put in. Thanks

Somewhat new to navigation and I'm curious of the purpose / point of "waypoints" like these shown here that have no radio to tune into. How are they generally used and what are they for? Seems like there's sure a lot of them in one general place...?

Please could I request some commentary/critique on this design for storing IFR flight plan information: SID: Assigned by ATC prior just prior to departure, change with a runway change, but unlikely to change in flight - seperation managed with speed and altitude En-Route: Requested, mutally agreed, subject to change en-route - covers the distance from one airport to another STAR: Assigned by ATC prior just prior to arrival seperation managed with speed and altitude APPR/Approach: Requested by pilot, varies on aircraft equipment and prior STAR divided into path/glideslope to runway and go around proceedure Hold: Can be issued anywhere from end of SID to end of STAR…

Good day, I'm wondering does anyone know how to use the ILS on the TDM 930? I cant seem to find the NAV input to put runway freq. I think I'm over looking it but its not easy to come across. Unless it shares the frequency section with COM? Thanks in advance.

Hi, i am new here, hello to all! I try to understand what happes when i get into an Airspace. For example i fly with a Cessan 172 to EDDH (Hamburg, Germany) , This Airport is Class C Airspace. From what i understand, when i fly in Class C i must have a distance to the Clouds, for example 1000 feet above the Clouds..But how do i know what distance i have to the Clouds? Then...I have an iPad with Skydemon APP when i flly (with MS2020) and i come to EDDH Class C Airspace Skydemon shows a blue circle with the Information "Vertical 2500 Feet - FL100 ". What does this mean? Does it mean, when i fly over the Airport (and i dont land) i must remain 10.000 Fee…

As I've said before, I'm a returning flight sim pilot thanks to MSFS2020. I have no experience in flying an actual plane. I am trying to relearn everything. I thought about 14 years ago I had this stuff down, or at least a decent grasp on general procedures. Having come back I'm realizing I am a bit rusty. This time I come seeking advice on flight plans. The first leg of my around the world tour is: KOPN to KSBO Using Skyvector it plotted my course as such: KOPN, FORBES, MCN, OTGUQ, CARYS, APELE, DBN, KSOB Is this accurate? I'm assuming they are plotting along victor airways? It set my altitude at 8000 but I changed it to 2500. I'm also assuming with such…

Good day everyone. i tried to start a flight from LOAN (Wiener Neustadt) but realized, that the internal Flightplanner all of a sudden doesn´t find it... Corfu (LGKR) and Athens (LGAV) are also "lost". I have no Idea what happend. Can´t find them in the Navbase of my Carenado PC-12 nor in P3d Flightplanning. I usually use Navigraph and Pfpx and have the current AIRACS that works, but unable to start a flight from these Locations as P3D doesn´t recognize these Airports anymore.. Anybody had the same Problem before? cheers Kai

Hi everybody: The new Navigraph website seems not to be very helpful at alll. Unless you have an active subscription it'd be impossible to know which specific add-on aircraft are supported (it only says more than 120...) and to what extent. Also could not login in the FMS Data sub-forum for the same reason (need to have an ACTIVE subscription). I just purchased the Captain Sim B767-300ER Base Pack and would like to know if the database I bought at the old Navigraph website (that worked a lot better) for the CS aircraft includes the new B767-300. Last database (FMS data) I purchased from Navigraph was the 2006 and the latest downloaded was the cycle 2007. A …
