Hello I am using FS X SE and XPlane 11.41 I am looking for flight planner ; in the past I was using FSNavigator for FS9, it has been replaced by FSTramp FSNavigator was a wonderful tool for flight planning (automatic or manual) and had the capability to fly the flight plan automatically like a FMS/GPS, VNAV LNAV, speed...autopilot until the landing if you wish. I believe fSTramp has the same capability, but it is expensive (recurrent fee per year). I have noticed that some other flight planner exist but I am unsure of their capabilities: FS Commander, LittleNavMap, Plan-G. Is there any resource for actual, older flight plans; 50's, 60's and early 70's? More specifically, I'm looking for late 60's DC-6 flight plans between New York and Europe (most likely stopping at Iceland). Thanks for any help.

Hello, I have both P3dv4.5 and xplane 11 and like them both. Just a few weeks ago I purchased the Carenado phenom 300 and love it with exception of the G1000. I've read plenty of your articles so you know what I mean. So I purchased the reality xp gtn 750 just to find out later that the Carenado 300 was not designed for it. I have tried to load it on several other aircrafts but it will not communicate with P3d. I can create a flight plan with it but P3d autopilot does not recognize it. Is there a cfg fix or something to use xp gtn 750. Please help. Thank You. I have the Ryzen 2600x cpu, Asus Prime x370-pro motherboard, 32 Gb ram and the Geforce GTX 1050 graphic card.

Is there a small program which will calculate arrival times in UCT? If I leave point X at 2:00 UCT and head east on a 12 hour flight, I would like to know what time UCT I will arrive at my destination.

Hi. Bought B777 PMDG recently and i have been using SimBrief to flight plan and download into FMS for years never needed to download the weather into FMS in the past. But with PMDG's FMS it seems to be a requirement for the planning to work right.Does anybody know how to do this? Or is it even possible. I don't subscribe to Navigraph or any other because of costs.Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Claude

I use Cessna 182 which has a Garmin 1000 at panel. I can not make it to follow any flight plan: plane always fly according to HDG bug. Is that right??

I noticed a couple of posts from various users referring to problems with PATC regarding descending, so I thought I would share my way of using ProATC X. This is not necessarily the “right or wrong” way to use PATC, it is however my way. One thing to note is that I use FS2Crew on all my flights, in this case the ProATC X co-pilot functions are disabled apart from "Contact controllers" and "Serve COM radios" *EDIT :- ProATC X development is currently paused as the author /developer had a very serious accident which has prevented him using the computer. I'm still learning and I'm trying to plan a flight with restrictions that takes me just north of HQM but this T257 has a 2900G/3700G but the MOA says that it excludes B1200AGL. My question is how can I fly at 2900G if the MOA only excludes B1200AGL

I use P3dv4 with Active Sky for weather. REX SkyForce, UTLive for traffic, Aivlasoft EFB2 and SimBrief for planning. My problem is with the planning stage and finding "runway in use" for landing. Takeoff is pretty easy... I contact the tower, or tune into the local ATIS via P3dv4... however, landing runway almost always changes from those offered by ActiveSky, Aivlasoft EFB, or SimBrief and throws my pre-planned STAR and Approach out the window. I have ticked the ActiveSky "force ATC wind lock" as recommended to no avail. is it common that when we insert a flight plan with too many waypoints, we suffer from low fps? I use p3d v4.5.1 and when i try to file a flightplan from a place to my home airport VNKT with RNV02 approach (this approach has too many waypoints) my FPS comes down to below 10 in both PMDG 777 and 737 but when i use a VOR DME approach it stays normal, please help i dont wanna fly to my home airport with 6fps :( may i know is it only me suffering this or every one, to test set arrival airport as VNKT and RNV02 and see if the same magic happens to you I had tried this tweak but didnt work https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UEtXkQqdbic Thank you

I am a student been trying to fly X-plane 11, but the FMS and flight planning a problem. I finally subscribed to Navigraph for one month. I would like know how to maximize my use, issues under consideration. Hello, I am just learning how to fly the PMDG 737-800 using flight plans generated by Simbrief which i then bring into Navigraph charts. In the 2 or 3 flights i have managed to fly successfully , i have linked up the STAR and/or the SID to the relevant runway approach - the aircraft then follows the route all the way from the departure runway to the arrival runway. However i have planned a flight from EGLL (09L) to EGPH (ILS 24). The route all links up ok apart from when i get to the end of the STAR i have been given in the Simbrief route (INPI1E) - Navigraph charts give me the option of 4 different approaches (ILS 06 / NDB 06 / ILS 24 / NDB 24). Hello Simmers, I have RealityXP GTN750 as software on my monitor. seeing the Airbus320 Professional. All is working and configured well. When I make a plan with fill in the waypoints, then the plane do not follow the GTN750. All data can be seen and to use, but the small plane in the display goes only right on after take off. My opinion, no connection with my plane . At the end of the a config panel I have clicked on "Restore Airbus Aerosoft etc." So, all is working but no navigation. I am regularly flying with a group of flightsimmers connected via a LAN, not linked to the internet. We use a combination of FSX, P3D and X-Plane. Is any ATC server software available for a group like ours that has an ATC client as well as clients for the different simulators?

Hi all- My FF subscription ends in about two weeks and I'm looking for a suitable replacement which doesn't have to be free. I really like the moving map function on my iPad along with the Jeppesen charts. Having the app on the iPad is desireable as I don't have the screen space. I like the idea of using the airlines specific print out from sim brief but when doing it for American Airlines I can not find the ZFW to input into my FMS can anyone help do some airlines not generate a ZFW. Thanks for any help David Boudreau

Hello, With current outbreak, most of European scheduled services are suspended and finding out flight numbers has proven quite difficult. Previously, I used flightaware to find a flight between city pairs, but this is now rather useless. I do have FR24 gold subscription so I can search for flights if I would only have a flight number. It seems that you can't get historical data from FR24 when you are searching city pairs, but you can when you search by flight number. So does anyone know how to get a flight number if you know departure and destination airports. Thanks

Hi there I am having to manually add my flight plan to FMC as I am unable to export it successfully from vroute. I did this years ago with PMDG 747 and understand where it should appear in FMC under co route, and also know which folder it needs to be saved in, however when I download the Flightplan it appears to save as a web page and not in a format that can be saved appropriately. I know I must be doing something wrong but can’t seem to work this out! Would appreciate some Assistance!
