Never had them before but since upgrading to FTX Global 1.30 and the DSR nvidia drivers I see them ocassionally.. When approaching the lines they disappear. It is with all scenery adn on the same places, so they never follow . Any advice on how to get rid of them is appriciated.

Hi all- Quick question...is it possible to map a joystick button to one on the 'A' cycle cockpit VC views? Specifically, I'd like to assign this view after I've zoomed in. Thanks, Mark

I have a pretty strange audio situation and need some help in trouble shooting it. I recently rebuilt my Sim PC with a fresh install of Windows 7 64 Bit and a full install of P3dV2.4 No FSX. I have an older Creative X-FI Titanium PCI sound card installed with the latest drivers. I route my audio signal through a AV receiver and out to a 5.1 speaker set up. Everything seems to be working fine I've configured my speakers and tested them in windows and everything seems normal. I've ran this setup for several years so I am familiar with setting it up, but that's when I noticed an issue. It seems like all of my aircraft audio (engines, start up sequence, flaps , gear etc…

Looking to make some better rain/snow than what is provided with P3DV2 ... it looks too synchronized and fake to me. Anyone have some modified files for this? (I'm assuming it's some texture file somewhere) Maybe give it a little more alpha and feel a bit more random? Cheers, Rob.

I was fooling around with the .cfg file and noticed that in [Weather] the line OPTIMIZE_DENSE_CLOUDS=0 was at zero. I wonder what if i change that number to OPTIMIZE_DENSE_CLOUDS=1 the result would be.... And that is quite astonishing! More volumetric clouds!! Will anyone try it by yourself ? Lets hear your results !

How are the frames with this new AC? I was assuming since it is steam and no FMC and other Frame rate hogs it may do very well. Any input. Can you compare it to any other aircraft as far as FPS impact? Bob

Hi guys I have notify in the FTX VECTOR Roads, there is no lights in the roads like in FSX. I use FTX BASE v1.3 & FTX VECTOR v1.15 & FTX LIGHT CONFIGURATOR. Could find any help ?????

Hi all, I've followed the several instructions recommended on this forum to get nVidia Inspector to force AA in P3D v2.4. I followed the several methods/settings to the letter, but to no avail. P3D v2.4 on my machine that sports a modest GeForce 660ti, "refuses" to comply. Would anyone know if this might be an issue with this particular card (that would be odd, I suppose), or of a sure-fire way to get Inspector to work? I've tried, but was not overly impressed with the results, and would rather opt for 2xSGSS, if I can get it to work. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The flight sim store says P3D v2.0 for Lionheart - Learjet LJ248 Anybody know if it works in all P3D 2.xx versions? I have P3D v 2.4

please help i got something wrong happens massage !!!!!!!!!!!!! i have all my paths set correctly, i am using FSX and P3D V2.4 on the same OS, also i've followed the video tutorial and I got error massege. It gives me it not found File called C temporary, it not found P3D folder, it not found FSX OLD. Can anyone help please ????? I am in the stage od changing from FSX to P3D V2.4, so the help will be the most important thing now. Thx

I'm a little baffled by this one. I have a pretty decent rig with a Haswell 4770K chip and the NV 780ti GPU, I've tuned P3D 2.4 very nicely with the help of LM's Learning Center and many of the suggestions here in the forums. So far P3D is looking really good! The lighting and the clouds in real weather, stunning! Now, adding aircraft to the mix, particularly 3rd party AC like the QW 146 and the Aerosoft A319 so far, the planes have jaggies on them even though everything else around them looks great. Does anyone have a thought as to what might be causing this? I am not using NV Inspector, so far all tweaks are from within the sim itself, as suggested by many here. If anyo…

help me please, i have prepar3d v2.4, CPU I7 4970K, 8GB RAM 1600 and GTX 760, only have tweak on the CFG that is Affinity mask, so my problem is that in default scenery whit of aerosoft 319 my fps is of 45 56 but has a droop up and down, now in the scenery of fsdreamteam the fps down to 38 - 45 but have droops to 12-15 fps, help me for solution please is impossible with this droops 45-15 FPS flight thanks. Is there an up-to-date list that outlines the different payware sceneries that work out of the box for V2.4? thanks

Anyone knows if there is an easy (automated) way to get static airplanes at large airports? I don't really like to use AI because it hurts performance but I would like to see some planes on the tarmac here and there. I like the static parked planes that Orbx adds to quite a few airports in their FTX regions but right now I am flying outside FTX regions and to and from large airports only and they look odd without any planes... They don't have to move or anything, they just have to be there! Any idea's?

I have been reading the forums since P3D came out and I notice a particular pattern with people who are having problems with P3D or are not happy with P3D. Here are the reasons why you are not happy (if you are) and what you can do about it. 1. Problems upgrading xyz Stop upgrading all the time! As soon as a patch for an add-on comes out people rush to install it. This is fine if the patch fixes an issue that has affected you directly or contains some new features you want - otherwise don't install it just yet! I'm getting hard transition lines where fog meets land. And it doesn't matter whether I have clouds on simple or detailed. The right half is what I get, the left half is what I want. Volumetric fog gives the same result. This can't be normal???

This is in response to finding the AA fix topic that was started by Flying01 (Brian Riggs), December, 2013. I have set Nvidia Inspector to the recommended settings that you came up with. As a result, my P3D installation looks BETTER than it has ever looked. I have installed UT2 using the EMT into P3D 2.4 but it didn't go as well for me as others. I have followed previous threads and made the required mods created a FSX.exe and added the line SimObjectPaths.9=SimObjects\UT2 Aircraft To the [Main] section of my P3d.cfg file When I launch P3d it doesn't launch UT2, I have to go in and manually execute the UT2 Services.exe to get the program to launch and show up under the in game add on menu. I use megascenary 2.0 and it looks real good except for the real fine detail loads slow.so detail pops up.not sure if there is a setting in the config or if my video card is not enough. my specs are. processor -i7 lga 1150 4790 unlocked memory-corsair 1600 extreme video-evga gtx 7600 2048 mbytes memory i hate to buy a new video card as that one is only 9 months old thanks ted kiser

Hello, I'm posting this, since I haven't found any solution so far. P3D V2.4 simply crashes to desktop after attempting to select different elements from the toolbar. It does affect elements like weather or time and season, while some others, ie. map can be selected without crashing. No matter if run fullscreen or windowed. I have also tried putting the UIAutomationCore.dll file into p3d main folder, but it doesn't help at all. Has anyone encountered this kind of problem and maybe know a solution? I run P3D V2.4 on AMD Phenom 965 system with AMD 6870 GPU. Greetings from Poland

I am aware that there was some discussion earlier in the year regarding problems when using Aerosoft Dublin with the Horizon VFR GenX Ireland East photographic scenery. At the time I was using the airport with FTX Republic of Ireland. However, I have since purchased and installed the Horizon photoscenery (because FTX Republic of Ireland is heavy on framerates and VAS, and also because those low resolution, unrealistic coastlines were annoying me).
