So aggravating. The controls section is so buggy.. I know there are other, much more pressing issues, but still. It's such a time wasting, agonizing process of re-assigning all keys / deleting conflicting default assignments after a new update (by conflicting, I refer to assignments holding keys preserved for Ezdok). I'm looking at the xml controls file and I can't, for the love of god, figure out how to tweak this thing to a clean state. One thing I noticed, if you damage it somehow.. incorrect syntax or whatever, p3d will call it corrupt and re-create a new one with all default assignments. Hello Everyone Please i installed orbx Global and Australia With no problem After i was seduced by orbx england i went for it and i bought it , The problem is when i lunch FTX , it comes an error with It Saying Duplicated Landclass Index 14 ... i Went to Terrain.cfg file to check for any duplicate number, but i found nothing .. I always thought that high autogen is the biggest fps killer. However when flying over those big cities like Paris (OpenLC EU) and Seattle (Orbx PNW) I did some quick experiments and I found increasing autogen from none to extremely dense only makes maybe 2fps difference. Road traffic appears to be the biggest single fps killer. Increasing it from 0% to 15% can eat easily more than 5 if not 10 fps over Paris. Shadows are bloody expensive on fps too. With trees and building shadows on, increasing shadow quality from low to medium can cut as much as 10 fps if not more. How do I delete the Pacific Northwest. Every time I fly over Portland Or. with the PMDG 737-800 the flight sim crashes. When iI run the uninstaller in win 7 obrx does not show up. When I look through the folder I see three folders for PN. Can I delete the folders and then reinstall PN ? Thanks for the help.

I've got an old laptop and I am thinking about putting at least ASN and PFPX on it and maybe give the demo of EFB another try. For starters. ^_^ Now I've understood that I should share folders and I think I can do that and I also understood EFB comes with network support built in so I suppose setting that up should be quite easy. PFPX doesn't really need to be 'networked': it will only have to save files on the main P3D PC. However, ASN seems to be another story. I've watched some YouTube vids about this but they are all about FSX and about the FSX SimConnect SDK. Now I was wondering if I need some P3D SDK...? And I suppose I need various SimConnect.msi's...? Hello all, I'm just seeking some confirmation that I'm not the only one experiencing an issue with the LDS767 and P3Dv2.4. I'm thinking that it is actually a FSUIPC issue as opposed to an issue with the 767 itself, but I'm just looking to see if others are encountering the same. Under FSUIPC 4.936, the 767 loads but the panel only seems to respond to standard flightsim commands. The typical panel sounds, as well as the autopilot controls are inoperative. (One can click the buttons, but they don't actually do anything). Under FSUIPC 4.936c, the 767 actually crashes the sim hard. Hi-I am back to simming after a few years. I have purchased a new high end machine and have installed prepar3d and FSX. Repeatedly after a two minutes or so after take off my system just shuts down. This has occurred whilst flying both the Aerosoft A319 and also on one of the default twin engine prop aircraft. It seems to occur soon after engaging the Autopilot. This does not occur whilst flying a default aircraft in FSX. Does anyone have any clues? Thanks

This is driving me crazy. Since yesterday, my menu is messed up. It is now fullscreen while it was on a black background. And the worst, the "world" section simply vanished... That means, no more access to the "World" subsections "Realism", "Time & Season", "Weather" Fortunately, I can still access these sections from the main screen. But... I mean... WTH ??? Did any of you, by any chance, already experience this issue ? Thanks

Hello all. I'm curious as to how you choose which airports to fly from and to? Products like Ideal Flight and FS Captain makes the decisions for you but those that don't use them, what is your process? Do you randomly pick, fly in areas you are familiar with, do you keep with certain time constraints, etc? Would be interesting for me to see how simmers approach their flight criteria and the tools, if any, they use. THANKS!

In the A319 en-route to LFMN, assigned/FP altitude FL320, climbed to 32,000 (Altimeter read 320) but, the A319 was still asking for cruise level! Eventually I reset the altimeter to 330 and low and behold the check-list changed to cruise. So a discrepancy of 1000ft. :blink: Any ideas?

It seems that I have no runway lights at night on airports I have installed (Polish Airports), which makes landing pretty difficult. I have tried installing light fields from DX10 Scenery Fixer, but to no avail. Is there a way to fix this?

This is the first time ever, that I can remember seeing such a difference in the output of one product that says it can be installed-full out, in either sim. I was thinking about getting a tablet or something like that to use for PFPX flightplans, charts, stuff like that. But now I am also starting to think about 'simply' getting an extra monitor to put the extra stuff on. With a 2nd monitor I don't have to worry about networks (never worked with those) and copying stuff from the PC to the other device. Now I was wondering what I need to do to get that done. Is it simply a matter of plugging the monitor into the second connector of my GTX780 and then... that's it? Will Windows show me the desktop on the other screen and P3D fullscreen on my main screen? I don't want P3D to also run on that other screen! Or do I have to set…

Hi, i just purchased ORBX PAJN scenery and i have this stupid bug. <_< Some parts of the runway and taxiway seem to be plummeting, i assume it is a elevation problem, so i disable the elevation correction in ftx vector straight away and it still dont fix the issue. Anyone know how to fix this? Thank you!!

Hi, I've registered at the P3D website but I didn't received the password e-mail. I've tried with two different e-mail accounts and user names, but neither of them received the registration confirmation mail (I've checked the SPAM folder in both accounts, and no dice). I would have posted this at the P3D forums, but, not surprisingly, they require registration, so I can't post any problems with the website if I'm not registered, but the main problem is I can't register Did anybody have this issue when trying to purchase a P3D license? Available for P3d and FSX, includes several airports and high detail of the famous New Guinea highlands. Note: It is an FTX Global add on, therefore FTX Global is required. Also, Orbx has released a freeware Mesh for PNG to properly enhance the terrain features of the area.

I have asked on the ASN forum but no response yet so hoping the larger community here may have the answer. I downloaded the latest B5931 update. When I start it I get an error that says: "A valid ASN version must be installed to apply this update." I have a valid version. It has worked for months. I think that the number string is the current version which says I am running version 5386. Does anyone have a suggestion while I await the ASN answer?

Hi guys I'm sitting here almost ready to pull the trigger but holding back slightly on the issue with ezdok From what I've read it seems that ezdok has stopped working in 2.4 I'm currently running at 2.3 and I've already downloaded both the patch and full installer for 2.4 but as I use ezdok a lot this is holding me back. so has anyone got ezdok to work in 2.4 and if not what are people doing to get different views up cheers
