Hi all, I recently installed AirTrafficManager (latest version) and all went fine. Yesterday, I discovered midflight that I forgot to launch the program after Prepar3D startup. So, I did launch the software midflight. A few minutes later, Prepar3D stopped working and had to close down because of a problem. Since then, whenever launching P3D, after a few minutes, the program shuts down (with or without AITrafficManager active). I discovered that when I don't launch MyTraffic (via the CFG), the probleme is gone. I would be very gratefull for any advise on how to fix this. Best regards, Jos W8.1 64 bits Prepar3D 2.4

I was wondering which AIRAC data everyone is using nowadays, simply because I have to get one of them. Another related question: I was thinking about buying AivlaSoft EFB mainly for the (generated) charts (SID, STAR, approach), mainly so I would have a chart available in case the AIRAC data wasn't correct. However, the EFB generates its charts from the AIRAC data so if the AIRAC has an error in a certain STAR, the generated chart will also show that error... in which case I would have no use for it! I was wondering where everyone here is getting their charts from. I already heard about and looked at Navigraph charts but the yearly subscription price is holding me back…

I used to love watching the landmark displays as I flew from country yo country. It was a wonderful way of learning about geography as I flew and I just wish the developer would make it work in P3D. It's probably not a great deal of work to get it going and I'd be first in line to buy it again. Anyone else feel the same way?

Hi Gang I just tried to do the v2.4 update patch and got this pop up near the end of the installation.. Could not write value COMPLETE to key \Products\A#####################################D\Features Verify that you have sufficient access to that key, or contact your support personel I hid my key. What am I doing wrong. The patch is run under my admin permissions. I am a registered P3D owner. I did a full fresh v2.3 installation. Thanks Ken

Start P3D - set up for heavy rain - move a/c to EFKU - second mil combat parking position in list - time 15:00 local Go into locked spot directly behind a/c - toggle a/c lights on/off. Do you get any unusual reflections or extremely bright flashes in sync with strobes, etc? I'm going to do a full install of 2.4 over the weekend to see if it happens with a plain vanilla 2.4 but wondered if it's anything anyone else has seen. Thanx, Vic

I had done the patch for 2.4, but decided to wipe it clean and do the full install as I was having a few issues. I have done this on previous versions also. When looking at the prepar3d.cfg file, after the initial load and quick flight, I noticed there was no entry for my video card i.e. [Display.Device.Nvidia xxxxxxxx] I have not checked any deeper to see what else might be missing at this time. Not sure why, but maybe someone can explain. I am going to go into the settings>Display and adjust my settings to the usual. Maybe after doing that it will put the entry in the cfg file. Hi folks maybe somebody could help me. Since i updated t from v2.3 to v2.4 my ship traffic is gone. The leisure boats are working but not the big ships. Everything is in the right place but they not show up. Anyone out there who has the same prob?

Had a strange problem last night. All of a sudden, my perfect install of P3D started acting strange. I was taking off in bad weather and I was getting strange blocky spray effects. Then I'd get bright light reflections where there were no lights. Several other artifacts started showing up. I noticed that one of my two GTX780's was not being utilized as much as the other. Hey guys, I recently bought the Twotter, and I am contemplating to get Lukla X from Aerosoft in a week or so. Thoughts? Does this scenery work as designed in P3Dv2.4. From what I can tell on Aerosoft's shop - it looks like the installer is FSX, and I will have to use Estonia's Migration tool to install this. Just looking for feedback on this. Thanks, Skywolf

Wes gave me the ok to post my process/steps to upgrading from v2.3 to v2.4. I know many of you don't want to re-install everything again so here is the process of "upgrading" that has successfully worked for me (I've done this 3 times without issue). Please read this information entirely before proceeding. This process is primarily focus on individuals that have a lot of existing 3rd party already installed in P3D V2.3. I feel like I am in that bad movie The Langoliers! All of the airplanes seem to be missing from major airports in my P3D v2.4. Any ideas as to what to do to make them appear? I have set the slider to 100%, but that hasn't made any difference. Is there something in the config file that might have been changed to give me this issue? Also, are there any traffic programs that work with P3D v2? I know you can make UT2 work, but if I remember correctly that fix disables it in FSX, and I still fly both.

Hello all, this used to happen periodically on FSX and continues with P3D. You finally setup your aircraft and begin slowly taxiing toward the runway when all of a sudden, you get the "Aircraft crashed" message. Yet, nothing is anywhere near your plan, no AI, no airport vehicles (I have mine set at 0%). Trying to find the proper setting for realism, but at the cost of this potentially happening. Especially with today's sophisticated add-ons, it may take up tto 45 minutes to properly plan you flight and then this happens. It installed properly. The module folder is there. There is nothing in the menu bar regarding FSUIPC4 4.936. It even accepted my key. The only issue I had was that it was looking for FSX which I do not have installed, but that isn't an issue. I am confused as to what to do! Thanks

Is there a fool-proof guide on how to install/port addons over to p3d.It all sounds complicated and a pain in the butt to do ?ThanksV
