Hi folks, just bit the bullet and did the switch over from WoAI to MyTraffic 3D Pro 5.4C. First did an uninstall of WoAI (using the expert mode in the installer) and also removed any of the WoAI bgls from scenery/world/scenery. Then did an install of MyTraffic using Burkhard's P3D instructions (on the SimFlight site). Now the issue: AI traffic is appearing at the gates (and using the jetways!) but there doesn't seem to be any further activity - no pushbacks, landings or takeoffs. Am I missing something obvious? Thanks!

Hi, I installed p3d 2.4 from the scratch and I dont get any sound ingame. In my settings the sound is activated and all the volumesliders are right. I also tried the repair-function but no success. in my .cfg i have "sound=1" I never expierienced this porblem before (FSX, P3d 1.4, 2, 2.2., 2.3)- Does anybody have an idea? Greetings Christoph

I have just tried running the patch to update to v2,4, using Rob's procedure pinned in this forum. Hi, I've installed pr3dV2.1 and fsx,on the pr3d when I click world/scenery library scenery cfg flies warning appears "area 002 to 136" -I don't know why?- and press ok,bring up scenery library.However,I have to check all scenery enable box to install addon new scenery, if I don't I get this message which is "CANNOT run without a valid scenery.cfg please uninstall pr3d and reinstall pr3d". thanks for your support. Whelp! I am stuck in P3D V2.2 When I apply the patch for 2.3 I get CTD at the end of my flight load. I tried a whole of lot of things and it doesn't seem to work... It loads 99.99999% and then exits. So I have copied over from my backed up 2.2 and recovered to 2.2 I have installed too may FSX aircrafts and FSX sceneries and made my P3D V2.2 work with them..I can't imagine doing a full reinstall so I am thinking of this strategy.. Would this work. 1. Rename my current P3D folder as TBD_P3D 2. Do a full install of P3D 2.4 (or P3d v2.3+patch for .4) 3. Re Install Orbx regions and airports etc (this is something I cannot avoid) 4. Since all my other sceneries …

Hello all, Thinking about picking this up today, but I have one question, and I can't seem to find an answer to it. I am only interested in using this on P3D for Vatsim traffic models. Do I have to do something special, or skip a part to just install the models? I don't need all the schedules and stuff, as I keep my traffic turned off. I just want to use this, and vPilots model set for seeing the correct aircraft while online. Thanks for any help or tips! As I said, I couldn't find anything on do this. William

The performance section of the learning guide says that the P3D v2 now takes advantage of all available cores, so is there any reason to add the affinity mask line to the p3d.cfg file anymore?

Well.. I had an issue .. I just changed my motherboard... So.. many companies understood that I was doing another install with the same serial . For instance..,on WIndows 8.1... I just did called to Microsoft (anytime) and I got my activation automatically...for FSX.. I just input my serial and I got by internet ..on real time.. reactivation.. for GSX Ground Services... I did this through Internet and I got the activation.. for PMDG.. using Flex.. I didn't have any problem .. for the others.. the same.. but for the Lockheed Martin (P3D v2.3) .. oh my God.. first.. I suddenly have an issue with P3D (v2.4).. it seems that none of my saved flights are showing up under Saved Flights.. I only see a handful of missions, mostly 3rd party ones.. none of the newer missions (which exist under the p3d directory like the ones under "Emergency") are showing.. none of my saved flights (and there are many).. Also.. if i save a current flight then go to load it again, its also not showing up (though the fxml file is created). Has anyone ran into this one? Thanks

Hi, After i bought REX4 i am getting no clouds but only something that reminds me of fog all the time. Using ASN does not work (ASN works but it does not provide clouds i meen)either or the ORBX weather themes. Has anyone seen this before ? I have thunderstorms in LSGG today but no clouds) I am with the latest version of REX4 SP3 and used the build in weather theme generator. Also the water looks pretty plastic and flat i think Thanks Michael

I'm not sure if someone has started one already or not (I haven't been able to find one), but if there isn't one any chance we could get one going here? I'll start it off by saying REX 4 works great along with FS Global Mesh, FTX Global, and FTX Vector

First off let me say I'm the 7 years I've used FSX I've never had an OOM and up until v2.3 of p3d I never had one in v2 either but now they are common nothing has changed really same addons ect . To me 2.3 is really bad at memory management on a flight from KRNT to PAKT I over flew ORBX KBVS and 74S and I heard the ding of doom from FSUPIC so I fire walled the throttles and got away from them and the dings stopped but on decent into PAKT I got an OOM so I went back and redid the flight this time with the two orbx airports disabled and no OOM. Its defently these two airports causing it as before I disabled them I tried going due west out over the Pacific and then north so …

Hello! I have just moved from FSX to P3Dv2.3 in order to get a smoother sim. My PC is way below the state of the art, but I have found settings to get 35fps min. Of course the result would be unacceptable for many in terms of autogen and textures, but it's OK for me. But I still have an aliasing problem with VC and instruments. The "outer" world is fine, but the needles and the instruments' textures in most planes' VC are a jaggies fest! This happens with both native (Carenado Bonanza, Extra 300S) or add-ons (QualityWIngs Avro RJ or Area51 U-2S). Quite surprisingly, the native Maule is perfectly fine! Does anyone have an idea about what could cause such issue? H…

P3D 2.4 finally convinced me to make the big migration. Question. Can all the ORBX airports I have be utilized properly in P3D 2.4 using the Migration software? I only have a few airports that have the new P3D 2 installer built in but some of my favorite airports like KRDD, KSFF, and KBZN are still lacking the updated installer, Any positive experiences? hi i was wondering if anyone would want to share a screenshot from area of Lonon, ON Ottawa, ON and maybe over Toronto, ON somewhere in vicinity of main airports is fine for these cities. basic shot maybe 1000-2000 ft above airport facing the city or whatever... I thought some of you may be interested to see some "before and after" pix during my latest reinstallation of P3D after the FTX Global patch broke my previous installation. Below are pictures taken around Cherbourg in France with default, +FTX Global 1.30, + FTX Vector and finally + FTX OpenLC Europe. As you can see there are some issues with FTX deciding that Cherbourg harbour should be solid rather than made of water but hopefully they'll fix that at some point. Has V2.4 fixed your terrain shadows? I've just spent an hour flying around Biarritz and Bilbao enjoying the new V2.4. All is well apart from my terrain shadows. When I turn them on the shadowing pops on and off and redraws itself ahead of me (in sharp jumps not smoothly). This is with all settings on the slider. Looks awful so have switched it off again! I thought this was supposed to be one of the main fixes in V2.4? Or could this be my PC and GPU showing their (4yr old) age? Any thoughts?

Hello all, ever since v2.4 (fresh install), has anyone experienced strange behavior with Ultimate Traffic 2 (yes, yes I know it is not supported). It has worked impeccably in all P3D versions (using (EMT tool) but now, when I load the sim, the airports are nicely populated with AI aircraft. Yet, as soon as I pushback, all AI disappears, regardless of which airport. Just wondering if anyone else has weird issues.

I know that peter supose to make a 2.4 support version , but the last version make my P3d crash. does someone got same
