Dear Simmers, I've noticed that when downloading flightplans that there is an incorrect zip-file reference when trying to download >30 Airlines. It concerns the Embraer 190 model which is available from the AVSIM-Online as: Download FS2004 Embraer 190 Base Model B.zip however, AIG's flightplan of 30+ respective Airlines requires the file: AIEMB 190.zip The result is that flightplans of +30 Airlines are blocked from downloading. Is there a way to rectify the above discrepency or am I just overlooking something? Thank you. Herman

Cheers If you don't already use LS (Lossless Scaling) for it's frame generation, you should at least trial it out. For less than the price of a pub lunch you could be flying @ a vsync'd smooth 60 fps in P3D. The idea being to lock P3D's frame rate at a fps your P3D installation can consistently handle and then use LS's frame generation to bring the fps up to 60 fps (or more if you really want). Hello, I'm looking for a traffic add-on for P3Dv5.4. I have found two so far, Traffic Global by Just Flight and Ultimate Traffic Live from Flight1. One thing I don't care for is that these two packages seem to have lots and lots of airliner traffic but very limited GA traffic. For example, Traffic Global only has 8 GA planes and the Flight1 addon doesn't say what aircraft it comes with. I want a traffic add-on that has many GA aircraft. I have the Milviz B737 and the installer for it only goes up to V4 of P3D. Is there a way to install it to P3D V5.4 and have a functional Milviz manager for it? I got it to sorta install into V5 but can's remove the nose gear chock. Also, it installed a Trueglass and Realights which causes both V4 and V5 to choke and crash. I tried one way to make it work in V5 but the MVAMS manager doesn't recognize the aircraft. BTW, I do have V4 and V5 both installed. I understand the the TDFi Real lights and True Glass are not compat with P3D V5, From what I have read, they have Vram issues

Good morning all, Wondering if someone can shed some light on what appears to be the issue with what im noticing at gatwick airport using Jennasofts EGKK V1.2, P3DV5 & ORBX TRUEARTH GB SOUTH SCENERY, This strange white line appears to be over the top of the scenery, When panning via the mouse wheel or zooming in or out it will disappear & reappear, I cant narrow down as to where this is coming from, i have no other EGKK scenery installed & have followed the nessasary steps from jennasofts manual to remove the associated files for ORBX true Earth. Hi, just wondering if the RealTurb add-ons I see for P3D over at simmarket actually does improve the realism of the feel of turbulence in the simulator? I always thought that the default turbulance in the sim, feels a bit off, but I am also not a real pilot. I'm just wondering what peoples thoughts and opinions are on these add-ons. Thanks

I have MKStudios LPPT for Prepar3D v4. When I arrive LPPT from North (INBOM, XAMAX etc... arrivals), when i pass by the airport, a big shadow's airport taxiway appears standing up (as shown in the attached image). I don't know if you all have seen the latest post from PMDG - but apparently PMDG ops 2 to have reduced functionality from 30th June 2025 for P3D meaning no access to inhouse liveries or updates. Another good reason I am not going to invest in PMDG moving forward even in MSFS.

I got GSX through simmarket and when I went to activate it was met with "Invalid S/N." I reached out to simmarket and was told to contact the maker of GSX, Virtualisoftware. In three weeks they've not answered me. Anyone have a touch for them?

TFDI have announced they do NOT plan to bring the latest texture updates they have been working on to P3D (not a major issue for me) or the PW engine update that they have previously mentioned in their public announcements (that is really disappointing). If I remember correctly we lost the PAPI at PAKT with the transition from Prepar3d 2.5 to 3.0 irrespective of the NVIDIA driver. Does anyone know of a way to get them back? It is one of my favorite airports and too bad that it is almost unusable at night now. The latest ORBX installer did not change anything for me.

I replied today to the Facebook page that handles all TDS plane Support. I really enjoyed flying many of the TDS planes (737's, 757's, 787's), but because of their specific regulations regarding their name or patent information, it is easily possible to cause these planes to never occupy your computer again. Hello Everybody I have P3Dv5, windows 11 and the avionics managed on a second computer with SimAvionics and FSUIPC 6. Recently it is impossible to engage the Autopilot in mode CMD . I have to fly manually, very tiring. The FMC is properly set and the aircraft is properly trim with no input on the controls but it does not work . Somebody can help me? Thanks in advance

After entering the prescribed path in the QuantumLeap ini. file per the read me instructions: \P3DV5\PMDG\NAVDATA I still get the "No NAVDATA FILE manual entry only flag at the bottom of the app. I've tried the \PMDG\SIDSTARS folder with the same result. Is there a path to a subfolder in one of these files I should enter to get QL to see NAVDATA so I can just enter and leap ahead to the desired waypoint? One other question; should I leave the ini. file in the QL folder or move it to the sim file or somewhere else? …

Hello, I have some scenery addons that install on the P3D root. The problem is that they have many files that will spread and flood in many default folders, including some files that will be replaced. I want to install it in a safe way. If the airport is not good or in a future uninstall the installation as a package is more easy and clean. So i would like to install them as a addon package on p3d addons folder. If the scenery have these folders that should be on root: Add scenery/XPTO_Airport/Scenery Add scenery/XPTO_Airport/Texture Effects/... Scenery/... Texture/.... What addon.xml file i should create to put all these in an folder in the P3…

I've noticed that when I select any jet aircraft (Airbus, Boeing, etc.), that I no longer have that "spooling sound" from the jet engines. The sound in spot view is excellent, but when in the cockpit, I hear nothing for about 10 seconds after full throttle. I do get sound after I'm eventually rolling down the runway, but it's not the same. I have checked all the possibilities in the sim's sound settings (environment, cockpit). ALL are at full volume. I have a Realtek sound card with my new Jetline computer, and Bose subwoofer and satellite speakers. I had great sound on my old computer with my jets, but not now. Well I finally tweaked my way into scenery H*ll by reordering and renumbering items in Scenery.cfg because they had gotten out of order or large gaps in numbering. Through this process I learned about the importance of setting the ORBX insertion point which I had previously not known about. Even though I tried using the Lorby Scenery Export utility from makerwys.exe via Radar Contact 4.3, the layering is still all messed up and confused where half of my airports wont load correctly (no buildings but gates are there and so are runways/taxiways. Hi all, Looking for a little advice with this annoying issue! Firstly, my specs are: i7 6700K @ 4.5 GHz, 16GB RAM @ 3000 MHz, Nvidia 1080, a 4K monitor and a bunch of SSDs. I usually run with hyperthreading off. I have the terrain textures get blurry/not much if any autogen loading during the last few long flights. Even after taking off out of EGLL the other day in the PMDG 777, I noticed the terrain textures over Belgium were blurry and not loading properly. The plan is marked for IFR via jetways. Started at runway. If I open the built in ATC it gives me VFR choices. Depart straight out etc. I takeoff, engage the AP and change ATC to local Departure. Offered choices of opening IFR plan or Copy IFR Clearance etc. If I try to change to IFR via either method, P3D crashes..."P3D is not responding." Suggestions welcomed.

When starting FFTF this weekend, I'm getting the following message: “Offline usage limit reached: Application cannot connect with FSPS servers. Please get online or allow traffic for FSPS applications through your firewall”. Seems like it's happened before based on a quick search. Anyone else having this issue? On a side note, I absolutely cannot stand how I've paid money for these products that absolutely have no reason to be connected to the servers at all, and my continued usage of them all depends on whether or not the company keeps their servers online.

Hi All.... Over the past year something has crept into my P3Dv5.4 .cfg file and won't let me start the Sim until it's fixed. I have no problem fixing it,but it's a pain....and I'd like to get rid of it IF possible. In [DISPLAY] an entry 'FullScreen' =True must be changed to FullScreen=False in ordre to get the Sim to work. It reverts back to True when closing the Sim Not a big deal....but pesky !!! Any ideas?? Thanks Skip d
