I installed the app and quickly noticed an odd, yellowish and pale near transparent quality to P3D v5.4. I probably should have taken a screen shot. But, as much as I tried to work with settings within the app, I could get no appreciable change. I deleted the app and am now using the original Nvidia Control Panel program. Fortunately, P3D colors are back to normal. Just an advisory to fellow pilots. In my case, this was no improvement from Nvidia.

Hi all, Does anyone know - If I run an airport with 4096 textures with the sim set to 1024 (for the sake of my puny VRAM amount), does this lower in-sim performance versus shrinking the textures to 1024 outside the sim and running at 1024 in the sim? Any experience/ideas appreciated! Kind regards, Rudy

Hello all, Just bought this - didn't know it had released. Going to have a bit of a look shortly, but my first impression from flying out of it yesterday was that FPS came down a bit after sitting there, even with AI on/off. Anyone else had much experience with it? Cheers, Rudy

Hi I am experiencing a black screen momentarily after I load in iFly B737 Max 8 Prepar3D V5 addon, I use Prepar3D V5.3 for reference. I can't list my specifications because unfortunately I don't know them. Any help would superb!

Since a few days I have problems with ASN. It no more works at all. The desktop icon is gone. I´m also unable to locate the programm. The HiFi folder is empty and add/remove programm does not even listen Active Sky. I have tried to re-install, without succes. The parameter like S/N and password I do not have anymore after more then 10 years Active Sky ops. Any help is very appreciated Peter

Has anyone tried the new Lossless? It seems more complicated but seems to work OK. I have just one puzzle: whereas the indicator used to say 20/60, that was, 20 fps set in RTSS and 60 output by lossless, it now says 60/180 for the same RTSS settings! Could that be correct?

Hi all, Anyone knows how can I fix the sky color? Every time I start Active Sky or FSGlobal Real weather, the sky color is changed. I’ve read someone asking to delete stars.dat from as_srv folder in P3D main folder. So I uninstalled ASCA delated sky.dat, also shaders but I’ve done that without any result. At first I thought it only happened with Active Sky, but I’ve also tried FSGRW and it happens too. Here I attached a picture

Whenever I choose the View / New option the window always comes up at the top left of my screen. Yes, I can drag it of course but I would like that window to appear at the bottom left of the screen by default all the time. I realise I can save a flight scenario with a window opened and manually re-positioned to the bottom left, however as soon as I close that window and go to open it again, it goes back to its default top left position. I cannot find any specific entries either in the prepar3D config file nor any of the .xml files that would facilitate this permanent change to the default position from top-left to bottom left but surely there has to be some way to do…

Just wondering if purchase or not, so my question - is it comparable to PMDG birds ( performance and complexity ), any major issue still lingers ?

Recently, P3d v5.4 has been starting very, very slowly. Even when the intro screen comes up, the loading stalls at 5 for about 2 minutes. I checked my Addon Manager and I see my ORBX files, FTX_AA, EU, NA, ZZ all at the top of the order. When I try to change them in Addon Manager, it doesn't like it, and doesn't allow me to save the configuration. My ORBX library, which is 190GB, is on my large X drive, even though P3d has it's own SSD (M2). Originally, my ORBX library was on my main drive, C, but I wanted to save some space on C, so I moved it to X. I believe the slowdown occurred not too long after I relocated my library. Who knows? Any ideas to help me…

I came across this post on the LM P3D forum. The author is still working on his version based on the Aerosoft Dublin. It looks excellent so far. This man's work is nothing less than great. The resolution, autogen and coloring is very good. Best scenery ever developed for any sim IMO. I find the current price list is very acceptable. Now the gripe😔 He has a very nice artistic web site, and I know he is a one man show but I do so wish he had a simpler more direct delivery method after purchase. I have four of his products now including two of the free samples and have nothing but praise. Now 24 hours after purchasing a country and sending an email requesting it, I still don't have it. I would be perfectly happy to stick with Windows 10 but am starting to feel pressured to go to Windows 11. I know that a clean reinstall is the preferred approach but I have a lot of P3DV5 compatible planes, scenery, traffic, etc. as well as graphics, photography and other applications. With the help of contributors to this forum, I have working installations of many of the RealAir simulations planes. Also have AIG traffic, ActiveSky for P3D, PMDG 777 and 737's, and Majestic Q400. Have any of you done an upgrade to Windows 11 using the option that preserves your apps and data? Did your flight sim apps and data make it through without massive collateral damage? …

I've had to reinstall VOXATC but I have a problem. I had my P3Dv4 and VOX on drive E. I want to keep both of them there. I can get VOX to work if P3D is installed in C: drive but on E: drive. Maybe not a big deal but I have my reasons for keeping the sim off of C:. I had an old computer crash and burn, and since all my sim stuff was on C: everything had to reinstalled. If that happens again and the sims are on E:, which is a physically separate drive, it would save me a lot of bother. When I have the sim in E: VOXATC still thinks it is in C: and the indexer hangs. I'm using VOXATC version 7, and as far as I can see there is no place to point it to the correct path. It ask…

Hello, I'm having a problem with the PRO-ATC Inflight Menu. When I enter "1" or click on "1" the menu disappears and I have to display it again with the key defined in Options/Inflight. The Help manual mentions that this was a problem with P3D4 but it seems (in my case) that it is still there in P3D5 5.4. The solution in the Help file is to use a key combination other than Ctrl-0, but this doesn't work for me. The strange thing is that this doesn't happen in menus other than the first one. I couldn't find the answer in the manual. I know they have a discord channel, but I'm not a fan of discord. Just installed A pilot's life chapter 2 for the first time. Looks like a very nice career mode app to me. My question: are the departure and arrival times in local time or UTC. I think it's local time, but not sure about it.

MSE and fcscenery are both photo sceneries afaik; fcscenery covers almost the whole world and comes with autogen. What are the differences between the two. Which brings higher quality photo scenery

Hello, so I just reinstalled P3D V4 for the first time in a few years and installed some of my addons form ORBX and PMDG. However, when I click start flight the game loads, but when it gets to 100% it stops for a few seconds, and then the game just closes to the desktop with no error on the screen or log in event viewer. First, I tried disabling all my addons in the menu, and then I did a repair of the sim, but I was still getting the crash. Any suggestions on what could be causing this? I don't want to have to install the sceneries from ORBX again. Thanks

Does anyone know how do I change the above in Fslabs control centre? By default option is My documents/P3D addons folder but because of limited space on C drive I'd rather install it on to my flight sim drive. Does anyone know how I can change that? Tried resetting registry option in control centre but does not help. As usual Fslabs's inconsistence customer service - tried asking there but no response from developers, very annoyed with them - not making a single purchase with them moving forward.

For P3d 4 and 5. Good to see new releases. P3d isn't done yet.

With the end of W10 approaching, there are options available to change to a windows look a like Linus OS. I know nothing about LInux, what would be the problems of transferring/installing P3D and all the accompanying programs on Linux? Is it a viable proposition, being free after all? Anyone tried it?
