Hello guys, I am currently using p3d v4.5 and I would like to fly the just flight 747. I know it's up to v3 and 32-bit and 64-bit differences and all that, but then I saw this gentleman's video: I also have the just flight DC-10 which IS officially compatible with v4, so if I need to grab any files from that it is possible. You can only name ONE. That one addon you could not do without. GA or Airliner, Warbird or Fighter. Mine is the RealAir Lancair Legacy v2. I flew the v1 in FSX and it took me on several round the world trips. Then I got v2 just as RealAir stopped trading. Didn't sim for several years due to illness. Got me a new PC 2024, got MSFS. Had some fun with it. Much missing though. Got FSX working again. Got this plane flying but oh boy those scenery tiles wouldn't play ball. Good for night trips though. hello guys, I am using P3D V4.5, it looks nice and I have very interesting planes to fly, however my problem is that the game runs like word not allowed on my system. I get 25-30fps in a PMDG 777-200ER in Saint Maarten, in which it's just a small island in a ocean. If I approach a place like Miami it dips to 15FPS in the cockpit and not much better on the outside. I use REX Sky Force, Chaseplane, PMDG planes (also aerosoft just flight) and some sceneries like FlyTampa but not everywhere, I still use AFCAD files on all airports I fly so it's not outdated in VATSIM. I found a link on the Simviation forum regarding PBR conversions of some older freeware/default aircraft for use in P3D, but the trail has gone cold with regards to any links to files. It isnt possible to sign up to that forum. Hi everyone, I just came back from msfs and I wish I never left. I have also discovered that I forgot everything in P3D V4 and I need some help. I can figure out most things but there is an addon that I am having trouble with. I would like to know how to install and setup Super Traffic Board. I was my favorite addon and pretty much the reason I came back to P3D. They don't seem to have a website or forum anymore so finding help is not easy. Assuming everything is equal in another sim ie. graphics, add-ons, gizmos and other capabilities. EVERYTHING. Why would a non-professional simmer, gamer or a developer not involved with the military.... buy or select a sim ... that isn't available in Steam or a relatively cheap console and whose license is for training only?

Hi, It's been a 6 or 7 weeks since the aitraffic.ch website is not up and running as it meant to be. A CentOS test page is there instead. On the other hand, Bernie, who must have founded that website continues to upload AI flightplans on avsim, but in readme file he quotes the old website address with repaints (and repainters) that cannot be found or accessed there any more. Anybody knows anything about it, as many flightplans are unusable without the necessary repaints ?

Hello everyone Staying with the P3D (v45), I have been carrying around the idea of buying a VOX ATC for some time now. I'm currently using PRO - ATC, but not SR since the developer gave up on downloading weather data from AS and was unresponsive to requests to bring this option back, and it's now basically a dead product. I also tried PF3, and FSHUD in the early days of development - here I still managed to use the Flight1 refund option because I wasn't happy with that program; mainly the low number of aircraft on the airfield and not operating on acceleration (unfortunately that's the only way I can do flights in my spare time). Hello everybody and a happy new year! I'm eagerly searching a repaint done by Tom Weiss (R.I.P.) for the Aerosoft Twin Otter Extended in Air Nepal's colours. The file is listed in the Download Section on Aerosoft's Homepage (here), but unfortunately the file isn't hosted there. Title. In search of good quality military airfield addons located anywhere on the globe. Ideally an addon developed recently that makes use of PBR, etc. E.g., Blackbird/MilViz Beale (no longer avail for P3d 😞 ). Mixed-use / joint base airfields are just fine, just needs to be "Hi Fi". p.s.: former .mil airfields that are now civilian just fine, too (e.g., former cold war bases).

In the since years of FSX (2006???) til now with P3Dv5.4.....I have NEVER tried to fly a 'chopper. Now that I have a Logitech X52 HOTAS Pro....I'm dying to try. Haven't the faintest idea how to set it up...or what to do when I get there !!! Been looking for at leat a TUTORIAL/HOW TO...with negative results. Hello everyone! I've seen there used to be a mod available to convert the Carenado AC11 Commander 114 (possibly the same one available as default aircraft in P3D) into a turbo version, as described here: It used to be available here at the Library. Unfortunately, it's no longer available. I even wrote to the author, but he no longer keeps the required files. Does anybody have this mod?

Last week, I decided to get rid of the planes I was not using in my Simobjects/airplane folder. I really deleted many of them that just were downloaded (all free ones) because they looked interesting, but remained UNUSED. Using P3dv5.4. Anyway, I notice that many 737's (Legacy) in my sim now have HALF WINGS! Obviously, I deleted a file that affects the wings on many of my 737's. Would anyone have an idea which file I inadvertently deleted? It's too late anyway because I emptied my recycle bin. Just curious if there's some way I could acquire that file.

Hello all I recently bought the 737 max from IFly and when I try to get liveries for it its very confusing. I got some liveries for the plane from an application that I got when i first installed the plane (I dont remember what it was called) it automatically 3 liveries for me but I tried to manual install a livery because I forgot the name of the application and then it didn't work and now when I try to load the plane in P3D config menu it only shows Ifly livery any help is great, Thanks!

As the title suggest active sky is currently on sale so I'm thinking whether upgrading my current active sky version to latest P3D version would be any beneficial. I currently use P3D 4.5 and as a result I use Active sky version which was specifically created for V4 along with rex cloud textures. Are there any benefits of upgrading to latest active sky version - I am guessing most of new features are for P3D v5 so for me in V4 it won't make a difference. What do you people think?

I was following one topic of Rayleigh in the past at LM forum, last few days I decided to work again in that "colours of sky" and besides that, I was tweaking the volumetriclouds.cfg also with information from truesky site. The results I dare to call P3D v5.9, because is almost that. The tweaking thing can be way more accurate, made by people who knows HLSL, but using my NI (natural inteligente) I made a good job. If you guys want to see that result (colors at sunset may not be accurate or pleasure most people) but I guarantee the clouds become amazing with new variables. I miss the old Area 51 that FSX had and I was wondering why it doesn't seem to be in P3Dv5? I don't know about other versions having it as P3Dv5 is my first P3D version. It doesn't show up when I search for it in the sim, I believe the ICAO code was A51 right? I am also not finding it in LittleNavmap though I don't recall exactly where it was located in FSX. I am just wondering why it was removed? Some top secret reasons I'm guessing? 😉 I would like to add it back if possible, would copying the all files for it from an FSX installation work or no? Hi there, I have a new problem with this AC : when I fly long haul, after several hours, the display freezes. Nothing moves, the rnage nobe or any other movement have no effect. Does anybody allready had this problem? Any solution? I'm on P3D v.3 HF1 W11 Pro Thenk's and merry Xmas Yves from ELLX

It’s been a while since v6.1 was released and since then, nothing. It seems that either LM has completely stopped P3D development altogether, or else they are working on a new product that replaces it. Either way, it has been *very* quiet. I recall a while ago reading about them working with Unreal on a new simulator, but even that rumor trail has gone cold. Is there any indication of life at LM? I can understand LM no longer has any interest in supporting the consumer market. That is to be expected.
