Hello guys, I am curious if it's possible to merge Aerosoft A330's cockpit into Thomas Ruth's A330 models. I'm on P3D V4. I know its a bit dated now, but aerosoft only limiting the A330 to the 300 RR model is kinda boring, I'd like to merge Thomas Ruth's A330 models (200, Freighter and other engine variants and so on) to Aerosoft A330's cockpit. Since Thomas Ruth's A330 model is been around a while there's a lot of repaints for it too 🙂 anyways if someone can tell me how to do it it'll be really helpful. Thank you!

Hi, I did a search on this aircraft (both here at Avism and a general internet search) and I could not really find that much feedback on it, though the feedback that I did read was quite positive. As a vintage aircraft fan I have been mulling getting this in preparation for the cooler weather here in Australia where I spend more time than ever indoors and have the time to buy and install / learn / configure another aircraft rather than having to deal with the garden going rampant in Summer... Hi all. Been having a very recent problem with QW787, when I open up the chart page it leads to an automatic CTD of P3D 5.3 HF2. After some testing I have been able to narrow this down to the navigraph charts only, as non navigraph charts don't lead to this issue. I've made sure they're activated (using the QW navigraph verification directly). Reinstalled QW 787. Reinstalled the C++ 86 and 64, and used SFC check via the command prompt. None of them have fixed the issue or lead to improvement. I do luckily have a crash log. I was just wondering if there's any add-ons out there that enhance precipitation (rain, snow, etc.) for P3Dv5? I've not been able to find any. I do have PrecipitFX for FSX but it's installed through Orbx Central and I don't know how I could install it manually to P3Dv5 to see if it will work or not. Thanks

Good Morning, I run P3d V5 on three displays (2x22", 1x27"). The 27" in the centre is for the flight deck, a 22" is on the left with A/C instruments, the 22" is on the right with for LNM. This is on Win 11 and an NVIDIA GTX 1660 with latest driver and VRAM 6 GB. This works well except for one annoyance. If I click on LNM, the left display blanks out. To come back to P3D, I have to click on either the centre or the right display. My understanding is that the P3D wants to manage all three displays, and LNM "on top" of its right display is the source of the problem. Is there another way of doing what I'm trying to do and avoid the above problem? Any help…

9Hi all, For some time now I have been noticing that the sunrise and sunset does not match with reality. I use Flychrono, but it doesn't correct anything either. To explain myself better, when there is still light at dusk, in the simulator it is already night. There is a delay of approximately 30 minutes. Back in FS9 times I used FsrealTime, which was really good. I dont know if still available for P3D5. Does anyone knows a better program to correct? Thanks in advanced

For some time now I have had a problem that the Shift I command to raise blast shield and set the aircraft for launch does not work. SWS carriers Shift I works fine but the AI Carriers do not . Any thoughts .

I have a payware aircraft with twenty different textures. Only 19 turn out properly, with one showing all black. I've looked at the textures for it and they are apparently correct. Any ideas? The developer seems to be out of ideas.

Hi Guey, does anybody know why I can´t get to see the SATDOME on the QW787, even when "-SATCOM" is written in the title of the Aircraft.cfg and texture.ini?? Thanks and kind regards!

I loaded the latest dlss version in p3dv6. I have the impression that p3d benefits from this as well. It runs a little smoother for me or is it just my imagination? Has anyone else tested this?

Hello. There has been an update in Orbx tfdi 717, but after installation all the screens turned black. The power is there, but the radio and screens are dark. Some suggestion please . Best Thor

Hi guys, I recently came back to P3D V4 and have been working hard to get all my add ons working but I need help with one. Its Taxi2Gate MMMX that was made for FSX but It was working with P3D. I swore that I bought another MMMX from a different company that was great but can't remember which one. I have read the tutorial on how to get MMMX working in P3D V4 but the steps did not work for me due to not having three folders that need to be added to the scenery library. I was wondering if anyone has any advice to get this working. I don't mind paying again for a working MMMX but I can't find one? Thank you.

I installed and registered Lima from PKSIM in P3Dv4.5. But now I had to install a previous PC back-up, and with that my LIMA is gone. Reinstalling now does not work because the old LIMA registration is still active. Question: where is the software registered in v4.5 so that I can delete LIMA and reinstall it Peter

Hello guys, I am having issues with the PMDG 777/737 where my fps would dip below 25 (on cruise btw) for both aircraft when I have the MFD with waypoints. If I change to VOR or switch to EICAS it's ok. I know it has to calculate the route and all that fancy stuff, but I'm not having issues with the 747. And another thing, I'm having micro stutters, where fps would dip below 20 every 2 seconds, even if it's at 60. My specs aren't too bad either and they're period correct for P3D v4. GTX 1080, ryzen 7 3800xt OC to 4.2ghz up to 4.7 and 16GB ram. P3D is in a M.2 SSD. I never have issues with any other games I play. Thank you!

I'ts happening more and more often that my p3dv5.4.cfg is changing itself just about everytime I try to fly. Under the [MAIN] catagory the 'location'=-20000,-20000,-18058,-18898,\\.\DISPLAY1 then a little further down 'location full screen'=-20000,-20000,-18058,-18898,\\.\DISPLAY1 This allows me to open the sim,choose Aircraft/Airport....but when starting progress bar finishes.....all I get is a blank screen.!!! Hi folks, Cross-posting this here in the off chance someone has seen this before (the non-MSFS A2A forums see very little activity these days). I'm trying to setup an Air Manager panel for the A2A C182, and I'm having trouble with the manifold pressure / fuel flow gauge. The A2A L:Eng1_ManifoldPressure and L:Eng1_GPH LVars seem to update once, but with garbage values (ie: 0.000295 inHg and 1.0 GPH, respectively). Other A2A C182-specific LVars are updating just fine (regular intervals, sane values). I can see updates on the standard SimConnect variables ENG MANIFOLD PRESSURE:1 and ENG FUEL FLOW GPH:1, but the values for these determined by the sim are on s…

Yesterday I added the Aerosoft KSMF to P3dv5 and used the InBuilds compatibility patch. The terminal looked great, even better than in previous versions of P3d. However, there is an elevation issue and the runways are pretty much covered in grass when on the ground. Anyone know if there is a fix? Cheers, Pete

My P3Dv4.5 is currently installed on an HDD. However, it's now taking for ever to load it and start a new scenario, so I now want to move it from the HDD to an empty SSD - would really appreciate an word not allowed's Guide on how to do this, Many thanks if anyone can help, Don McIntyre.

Strange thing. I noticed all the aircraft listed for P3DV5 at Simmarket has a V5.4 and V6 tag next to it. This includes Leonardo, IFly and all the others. Are they saying all these aircraft are compatible to use and can be installed directly in P3DV6? I have my doubts about that considering developer statements in this regard yet apparently they’re selling them as such. Go take a look and see what you think.

I'm currently running P3D4.5 with a Quest 2, on the following system: W10 64bit Intel Core i7 cpu 10700K 32GB ram RTX 3070 gpu I think I've maxed out the best performance in VR in terms of smoothness and resolution - sharpness. However, while the image in VR is ok I'm wondering if the Quest 3 would give me a significant/noticeable improvement in image quality. Is anyone out there running P3D with Quest 3 on a similar system to mine? How is the image quality/performance? And can anyone compare between Quest 2 and Quest 3? Grateful for any info/advice, Don.

I just recently learned, so I thought I would share, that the FSX/P3D add-on migration tool by Nool Aerosystems is now free and it has also just been updated as well recently. It works for all P3D versions up to P3Dv5 (unfortunately not v6). For the last four years I’ve seen many people switch from P3D to MSFS. Fair play to them. Their money, their choice. I’ve seen that sim on numerous occasions and there’s no doubt the scenery, lighting and weather are better than P3D. So why haven’t I switched? Two big reasons… 1) Big financial outlay in P3D. I’ve spent hundreds over several years on addon airports and aircraft. 2) Many 3rd party utilities essential to the way I fly and maintain my airports are not available for MSFS.
