  1. Zylx changed their profile photo
  2. If you look more closely at the screenshot you took, it says it is 2.16KB, not MB.
  3. The default way of setting up controls in FSX is junk. @scianoir is correct, using FSUIPC4 is the best way to map and configure all of your controls. FSUIPC4 is an essential addon for FSX in my opinion, I probably wouldn't use FSX without it. You can find it here: simMarket: FSUIPC4 There is actually another great tool for mapping and configuring controls called Axis and Ohs which you can find here: simMarket: LORBY-SI - AXIS AND OHS V4 FSX P3D MSFS I've tried both and both are great. They are both payware though. FSUIPC4 does have some extra features that the other one does not, but both are great for controls.
  4. This is where I got it from: I used to have a profile picture uploaded but now it's disappeared. The old image I used was much larger than 245 KB, but now it seems I've been restricted to 245 KB and my old image was deleted.
  5. I've been trying to use a screenshot from a flight sim I took as a profile picture, but I am unable to make it small enough to meet the 245 kb maximum size limit. That is a ridiculously small file size that makes it impossible to use any FS screenshot as a profile picture. I've tried cropping the image, resizing the image and converting the image to jpg but the file size is still too large. The smallest I can get it is 320 kb and I have no idea how to decrease the file size any further without destroying the image quality.
  6. Thank you for the heads up. I've been a long-time user of FSX and somehow I have never heard of this site before. I really wish I would have known about it sooner, but I will definitely be creating an account to download as much as I can. Can I ask, how long before you will be shutting down? Do you have a specific date?
  7. This may be a great option to try to find the CVIA INS from simulfly. The Wayback Machine is a great way for find add-ons that no longer are on the internet.
  8. Here's a much better version. It's called the Delco Carousel CIVA INS and you can find it here: AVSIM Library (First on the list of downloads). I think this is a different link because I double checked the file name, which is supposed to be called CIVA_INS.zip and this one has the same file name. Yes it says it's for the CLS 747 again, but the file name is correct, so it should be the right one. I noticed there's actually multiple CIVA INS unit downloads for the CLS 747, but I think the other one was broken.
  9. I see, that is very strange. How is it supposed to work without the actual panel 😞 I've downloaded old freeware add-ons in the past that were missing files too, unfortunately it does happen.
  10. Yes, it's originally designed for the CLS 747, however, if you know how to properly edit the panel.cfg files, you should be able to add it to any aircraft. Edit: If you don't know how to make it work with other aircraft, I strongly recommend you ask an AI chat bot to help you. They can walk you through it step by step.
  11. I did some searching and I couldn't find the one you're looking for but I did find this one here: AVSIM Library (it's the first download at the top of the list) You should be able to add it to any aircraft I believe. Also, here's another helpful tool for when using a CIVA INS: ToCIVA Flight Plan Converter Utility for FSX
  12. Haha! I've had that happen many times when emailing developers about their FSX products. They usually say something like: "These are legacy products and we no longer support them. We've moved on to developing for MSFS. You should upgrade to MSFS...". As if I didn't already know lol And your right, I agree. They really need to state on the pages for their products that they no longer support them.
  13. What I think is great is that Just Flight still gives support for their legacy FSX products, many other developers don't anymore. Even though they still sell their FSX products, many developers will just ignore you if you have any questions or problems with their old FSX stuff.
  14. You need to contact Just Flight Support again and tell them what happened. They are the only ones that can help you in this situation. Can I ask, which online store did you buy it from? I'm asking because one time, I bought an aircraft from a site that was not the latest version. This is very rarre, because most stores sell the latest versions of their add-ons. The developer did fix the problem in my case. Just Flight has pretty good support overall, so as long as you keep pestering them (in a kind way), they will usually help you as best they can.
