Hi all I am trying to register on P3D forums website but there is a CAPTCHA at the bottom which says ""Which item is r3D? FrenchBloodLem0nGrassLeaf" ---- What the hell does that even mean?

Anyone using LORBY LIVE TRAFFIC? I have LORBY ADDON ORGANIZER, and I do indeed love it. Just wondering if their Live Traffic app is any good. Let me know your thoughts. I'm using P3dv5.4. I see they even have one for P3dv6. Stan

Hello all, I ran into the following issue twice today: I was doing a VFR flight and I used ALT+ENTER to switch to another tab (Volanta in this case, but I'm sure thats irrelevant). When I did that, my coursor disappeared, my screen turned black and the message on the picture popped up. I did a testflight afterwards, and the same thing happened after using ALT+ENTER a few times. Interestingly, I did use ALT+ENTER during both flights before the crash occured and they didn't cause issues. After the second crash, I tried to recreate it, but couldn't. Even spamming ALT+ENTER didn't cause the crash again, so it seems it happens occasionally and its har…

P3Dv4.5 I've been experiencing strange behavior since yesterday. Example: When I push my Saitek throttle forward, the aileron goes into a left turn. Retracting the gear means nose down dive, etc. Does anyone have any ideas? I haven't adjusted anything, at least not intentionally. Peter

Hello everyone, I've been having this issue since a while now, when I am parked at the gate with the engines turned off (any add-on aircraft), I have a good FPS rate, around 30-40. At the moment the engines are started, I have a massive FPS drop, around 10-15 fps. I've tried to lowering my graphic settings to the lowest at every option and this is still happening. My PC specs are: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-10600K CPU @ 4.10GHz 4.10 GHz RAM 16,0 GB Tarjeta gráfica NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 (12 GB) Any help?

After the Chase Plane problems, it seems as if GSX has suffered some sort of malfunction after updates. Mine works fine at the departure airport but GSX drops completely during finals and is just not available and cannot be restarted. Anybody got a work-around while we wait for Umberto to do his thing?

Using FSUIPC6 with the PMDG B777 usually works fine. However, today, it seemed like the wheel brakes were 'dragging' or even 'ON' no matter the input. Checking the reaction to inputs on FSUIPC Calibration all was working and indicating normal. Power needed to achieve forward speed was way more than normal - any suggestions?

How come Prepar3d users don't post any media of their flights. Where are the videos and photos. Do I need a 4th sumulator? Hmm. Prepar3d looks pretty good! Wow!!!

Hello, I have encountered a strange issue related to the latest Windows 11 update. My P3D V4.5 has been extremely stable (the last CTD occurred about four years ago). However, in the past few days, I received some updates via Windows Update that have negatively impacted P3D, causing low virtual memory conditions and frequent CTDs. It is an unusual problem affecting my PC's memory. When I start P3D, everything appears normal as usual. However, after 10 to 30 minutes, RAM usage suddenly increases to its maximum without any clear reason, despite not having installed any new add-ons. Hello everyone. I need help with the Just Flight RJ 146 P3D v5.1. I asked the question on their support, but got no response! Someone asked the same question on their forum, also without a response. Also, if anyone has an explanation for my problem, that would be great. Can't retract the landing gear? Yet everything is fine, no lights on, all four hydraulic circuits are pressurized. I have tried several times today to get into the forums. While the splash screen shows the usual link, tapping it does not take me to the forums. Do any of you have the same problem or is this on my end. I cannot imagine it makes a difference, but I am traveling outside the US in France. thanks sherm

I had thought BlackBird Sims nee MilViz would have released their version by now, but alas, it remains in purgatory... In any case, this addon seems to have been updated to take advantage of P3D v5, and from the spec's & images seems like a decent quality addon. I can't really find any reviews on it, tho, so if anyone has personal experience or links to info, I'd greatly appreciate it!

Does anyone still use FFTF Dynamic.? It used to be quite useful but now I don't see any difference.

Hi all, I upgraded to a 5090 without complaints except I have no special effects such as Contrails and Tire Smoke. I tried older driver options without success. I do use TOGA Envir special effects and have tried an uninstall returning to default effects, also without success. I also tried selecting medium instead of high in the in-game sliders. Anyone got some ideas. Seems strange that a new GPU would cause this. thx IM

A person here named Dan blaunarwal has made a nice mod for the LatinVFR KRDU Raleigh airport for P3D V5.4. I have both P3D V4.5 and 5.4 and used his mod for the P3D V5 version. My question is if the mod is needed and can be used for P3DV4? Thanks.

Hi I'm just following up on a post over on the Bargain Hunter's forum which appears to have lost momentum. I see FC Scenery have a sale ending shortly for all of their products bundled for $500USD. I have all the Orbx products in P3D 5.4 but presume that FC Scenery would render most, if not all, redundant. I don't currently own any photoscenery so am curious about how the two products compare and whether the visual improvement is worth the cost. The promotional photos certainly look impressive. I am also curious how FC Scenery works with 3rd party airports, and whether you need to keep the likes of FTX Global installed in order for some Orbx Airports to w…

A friend made a freeware scenery of the Naples Fl (KAPF) airport for P3D V4.5 - When I fly it I notice that some of the runway markers and red border lines flicker. If I slide the tessellation factor to the left it seems to tone down the flickers a little. The person that made the scenery said he doesn't have this issue. Hello, I am trying to cobble together my own Boeing 737-800 using the default FSX 737-800 model to use in P3D. I have a study level plane but I still want a decent one that is easier to fly when I don't feel like going through all the motions. I'm starting with a freeware package that contains many liveries but the aircraft model is default in every other way (besides P3D compatibility updates). I plan to add the defaultimate 737 VC, the free FMC and a quality sound package I bought. Hi All I've been looking at adding to my scenery collection as I explore the idea of doing some round-the-world tours in the FSL Concorde. One of the airports it seemed to visit a good few times was Christchurch in New Zealand, upon having a sniff around there seems to have been quite a good looking scenery by Godzone for v4/v5 (I imagine a few tweaks would get it working in v5 at the very least), but the developer sadly seems to have decided to withdraw the scenery from sale and I no longer appear to have a legal way of purchasing it. There seems to not be much on the freeware end, so I was just wondering if anyone might have some pointers?

Beyond excited that it showed up yesterday at my front door. Looks like Aerosoft Airbus support is coming next month. Has anyone else gotten it and have you used it yet with anything in p3d? With golf season upon us in Canada i wont sim much now until october.

Hi all, Currently get around in the FSL A320, PMDG 747 & 777. I am considering the Aerosoft A330 - I realise it doesn't have any failures. Is it a good product for an A-B flight? Does it have things like step climbs, save/resume, takeoff/landing calc etc.? How do you like it? Cheers, Rudy

Hello everyone, I have the BDO Avaition scenery for RJBB which I had installed in P3Dv4.5. Now that I'm on P3dv5, I see that this scenery isn't compatible however I've read in older post (links are listed below) you can make it work. So my question is, in order for this scenery to work in P3Dv5, do I just need to make an addon.xml file or is there something else I need to do such as modify the BGL file??? On one post, a user said the following: " go to the scenery library, add a new area." Would that be an option??
