Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum and would like to share a problem I've been having for two days with p3d v4. The other day I went for a flight and out of nowhere the simulator crashed. The next day I did the same thing, everything seemed fine until the cockpit FPS dropped to 2/3, while all other external views were running at 50/60. I thought it was a bug, so I turned it off. Today, the same problem. I restarted the simulator and since then the simulator no longer loads the plane. The black loading screen remains and nothing happens. I tried reinstalling the pmdg 737 but nothing happened, while the 777/747, also pmdg, have no problem. Does anyone know how to f…

I started to incorporate the changes to the Orbx global pack starting with the 36U scenery (Heber City Municipal Airport) mod by blaunarwal which was not listed in Orbx airports as 36U but as KHCR instead. Thought I might make mention of this as I tried to send a notice to Mr Blaunarwal of this and not received acknowledgment. Finally bought that 4TB drive for P3D exclusive use. And am now re-organising my P3D installs to consolidate their components onto the new drive. The intent being to use the new 4 TB drive to hold Addons and Scenery currently spread across 3 drives. I'd found my previous design (built originally for P3D 4.5) wasn't translating well for P3D v5 support, as there are essentially 3 types of addons, (plus I was almost out of usable drive space anyway). For the 3 types of addons, there are those addons supporting P3D v4 only, those addons supporting P3D v5 only and those addons that are agnostic and can suit either version of the sim. Just noticed on simmarket that PKSim has marked all of their sceneries for P3d as inactive. I guess they got tired of dealing with answering support requests, or weren’t selling enough copies to warrant keeping the items for sale.

Gday gents i hope your all well. Should i mention this P3Dv5 and V6 Ymml is the only airport. Default ymml is fine with no orbx.I have lodged a support ticket there. But no joy yet. I went too load up the sim and selected ymml too start a flight from and when loaded i had red/black textures surrounding the airport only at ymml every other airport seems fine. 1.So far i have deleted my p3D shader catche. 2.Disabled all shader addon programms too default. 3.uninstalled ymml and reinstall it. 4.run sych simulator. 5.no windows updates have been done. 5. Hello, I am trying, and most unsuccessfully, to find repaints for my A2A C182. I even found this website that had a list of A2A C182 liveries and links to find them. However, most of those download links are dead. I tried searching the web and freeware sites but came up mostly empty. It makes me really sad that there's so few repaints for this airplane because it's one of my top favorite GA planes to fly. Does anyone know where the heck I can find some C182 liveries? I am trying to add an aircraft to my P3D sim but I cannot get it to show up when I load the flight sim. Is there a way to do this and then get it to show up when clicking the vehicle tab? It is the MD11 Mega Pack for P3D.

Hello, I have always had the problem with P3Dv5 that if I have any traffic enabled at all, it decreases performance and causes stuttering when using high quality scenery. The only solution I've found is to set ground traffic to Freeways Only and set the slider to 0% traffic density. Even if I add just a little bit of freeway traffic, it causes issues. Is there any way I can have traffic in P3Dv5 without the performance decrease and stuttering? In FSX this was never a problem for me, I could have plenty of ground traffic and it was stutter free. Please, is there any way to fix this? I miss my ground traffic.

I was hugely impressed with the performance gain by using this Steam application. It costs around €6. There’s no airport in the world now where I can’t enjoy a much improved performance even using aircraft like PMDG 737 / 777 and FS Labs Concorde. I haven’t seen much discussion about it here other than @Rogen’s topic. So I’m curious about how many of you have tried it. Hi All.... I purchased Balt-Wash KBWI for P3d back in Apr. 2022. I have never had a problem with it,nor the other KMSY and KMIA products from them. Till now. Suddenly...all my airplanes at ANY gate at KBWI.....are ON FIRE !! At least it appears to be fire...big billowing clouds that appear to be smoke emanating from the fuselage area. I have tried to re-install KBWI (even with my AV off) with no luck. Going to ask for support from LVFR I find it is only available thru their official forum. I have not been able to even'sign-up/register' on their forum....going on a week now waiting for their links to get mailed. TOTALLY FRUSTRATED. …

Hello, I've been looking at purchasing WSSS 2024 from Imaginesim and wanted to see if anyone had an opinion on it. It is quite expensive and would be one of the most expensive airports I've ever purchased. But I also want to support Imaginesim for releasing an updated airport for us P3D users. How does the airport look and perform? Any glaring issues with it and is it an improvement on their previous versions? Did they model downtown Singapore in high fidelity? Thanks

I am interested in getting Virtucol's ATR package and possibly the CRJ package too. I understand that these are lite aircraft with not a lot of systems modeled and I'm ok with that. For the price, I wouldn't expect more. My main concern is the flight dynamics. Can anyone tell me their thoughts on how good the flight dynamics are for their aircraft? I'm not expecting something like Flysimware quality, but if Virtucol flight dynamics are reasonably close to accurate, then I'm ok with that. I just don't want to buy an aircraft package that has really bad flight dynamics. Also, I'm interested in any other thoughts that anyone may have about Virtucol aircraft. …

I installed the SimAppPro and connected the PFP 7. All the lights work, but the CDU display will not show any of the CDUs on the PMDG 777. When selecting the "Environmental Check" tab in SimAppPro, the "Simulation initialization phase" and the "Aircraft module name retrieval status" lines are red, all other lights are green. It shows the "pmdg 777-200lr" next to the retrieval status line in white letters. The Winwing CDU displays "WINWING" on the screen, but the aircraft CDUs will not display. I updated the device firmware prior to starting the sim. Are any of you using this device? Thanks.

Hello there P3D colleagues! Has anyone noticed flashing little blue/red lights at night time using TOGA Envshade or Envplus? Seems to be happening more in wing views if I have wing light switched on, for example. Or when the beacon flashes. I thought it was a strange Southern Lights effect to start with but apparently not... Anyone seen this? Cheers, Rudy

Was safely taking ILS 02 Approach into KGPI (no wind) in IFR and FSHUD vectored me for a Visual 20 instead. Came out of cloud 8000ft straight into mountain. No chance to avoid. FSHUD had told me to descend to 4000!! Will NOT use this app for visual guidance ever again... This was probably the most shocked I've ever been in a sim. Virtual CFIT on a plate. It looks like my FSUIPC config file has a problem?? I had no problems for years, but for the past few days I´ve noticed some strange behavior. All my settings for flight control and the thrust lever are unchanged inside the config file. But now, if I - for example- retract the gear using the corresponding switch, the A/C goes into a left turn. Question: Can I simple install FSUIPC over it, or will that cause even bigger problems. The internet says this particular aircraft doesn't have thrust reversers. However the Rik version (V5+) has an auto thrust reversers knobs on the pedestal, lower left? P3D doesn't see them (I activate reverse but there is none), so am I doing something incorrectly? i.e. speed lower than X etc. As a note I tried them while on the runway before TO, not moving etc. On the other hand this jet is a joy. Very easy to find approach charts for most countries, but I am struggling to find anywhere for the departure charts?

Good morning all, I keep finding airline names that have been added to the end of AIRLINES.CFG. The first name is added at the end of the last airline name, then the others are added after a CR/LF. The names contain a space after each character.
