Just a quickie. I've re-installed my old P3Ds (v4 and v5) and they're coming along ok. I just went to setup my copy of PTA for v4 and it wants to connect to its website for activation (I've got a key) but the site no longer exists. Is there a known work round for this, does anyone know? Alternately, are there any other recommended tweaks/tools for amending the atmospherics and scenery colours? I'm running HDR so most of the nvidia or game bar filters don't appear or I'd probably use them. Hello, I'm encountering an issue with the above combination. Everything runs smoothly until I get the descend instruction from Pro-ATC/X. The simulation immediately stutters intermittently for +/- 15 seconds. When de-activating Pro-ATC/X at that point, I get no more stutters. It is not aircraft related as I have tried several types all with the same result. Am using Windows 11 Pro and have set Pro-ATC/X to run in high priority mode but this has made no difference. Any advise / tips would be appreciated. Thank you. Herman

I am running P3dv3 on a computer that is not connected to the internet. Can I download Flytampa St Maarten scenery on my laptop, copy it to a thumbdrive and use that to install onto my flightsom computer or does the installation require a internet connection from my flightsim computer to complete the installation? I have already looked on the internet to see if there is any useful software that can be used to add AI aircraft to the airport. After a long search, I was disappointed: the programs I found are either unusable or far too complicated to use. However, I did find one program that I'm very interested in and would like to use. A new product on Simmarket. I tried it and wasted money. Installation is in turkish language, the program itself then has an english menu but sometimes it has turkish bottons. So it was try and error to install. I don't speak turkish. You can define cameras and have sliders to move around but all P3D view keys become unavailable when connected. So all views are only available through this GCAM program. Ok, I could program all views I need but look left right is no longer possible, only a left view and a right view. I understand that there two of those and i understand how add-ons are added to either one. My question relates to performance. I recall reading somewhere that in one of these, all folders are scanned for changes each time P3D is started whereas this is not the case for the other one. This could be important where one has a large number of add-ons. I can't remember where I saw this, nor can I find it again. Can anyone confirm or infirm the above? Any help much appreciated. Tonight, while manually adding a scenery to my P3D (v5.4) I noticed that some of the entries were out of order. It would go Area.205, Area.207, Area.210. And it would be like that throughout the cfg file. I haven't noticed any errors or problems with my P3D so I am wondering if I should renumber the cfg or leave it alone? If I should renumber it, is there a program that would do that for me? I have over 600 entries and it would take forever if I had to do it manually.

Hello folks, Needs some help. I have the default airport in P3Dv5 for KMCI. Wanted to add some apron lights because when it is dark outside, I can't see the line that leads me to the gate as per screenshot. Any idea on how to do that??

Hello guys. I use AIG with P3D, and thanks to Lossless Scaling and a very good machine, I´m able to set Ai Traffic to 100%. I also use Super Traffic Board, and I noticed that, at large airports, when there are multiple departures scheduled to depart at a certain time, one flight requests taxi and all the others show as "cancelled" on Super Traffic Board with a message that "due to excessive schedule delay, flights XXX were deleted." So I´m wondering if it´s P3D deleting the flights or Super Traffic Board. Thanks Eduardo

I had a problem with my Ifly 737 since a few days. I deinstalled and installed again, but no gear at all. So, I guess that I reinstalled into the wrong folder. May I ask a iFly 737 user for the proper installation string? Tks in advance Peter

I read somewhere that because Russian airspace is closed to most airlines flights from Tokyo to London Heathrow now route over Alaska, Greenland and Iceland before entering UK airspace off Scotland. So today I decided to give it a go. 7,082nm took 13h 52m in the PMDG 777-200. x4 acceleration where possible helped bring actual time down to just under five hours. The advantage flying this direction is you depart at 07:45 local and land around 14:30 the same day having crossed the IDL west to east. It’s very satisfying when everything goes according to plan. Not a single blip from P3D v5.3HF2 either.

Greetings fellow P3D users, I have small question regarding MFSG products, recently I have been receiving multiple emails regarding updates to purchased MFSG products. All of these updates are decimal point updates (1.7 -> 1.7.1) Usually MFSG would detail changes in the email notifying users of updates to purchased products, however these latest updates do not contain any information on what has changed. So the question is, has anyone been able to figure out what might have been changed/updated in these latest versions of MFSG products? PS. I have tried looking at the MFSG Facebook page for additional information however, they don't seem to post …

Hello, I recently bought the Sumburgh airport scenery for P3Dv5 at Orbx website. The scenery itself works well, however there is a large patch of default terrain next to the island in the sea. (See the screenshot:) Now, I understand that on the website it says that it "needs" either EU Scotland or TrueEarth Great Britain North as prerequisite products (none of which I have), but I have ORBX Edinburgh, which also "needs" EU Scotland, but I have no issues with that scenery. Any ideas? Can someone confirm that this works (or doesn't) without EU Scotland?

I'd like to address the issue I have with P3D V5.4 with regards to the lack of illumination or reflection from aircraft landing lights on the runway. I heard that perhaps this is a bug that LM did not fix in V5.4 - I think that this was not an issue with V5.3 and earlier. Does anyone know of a fix for this for V5.4? If you use P3DV5.3 do you also have this issue? I would like to know how to revert from P3DV5.4 to P3DV5.3. Would I have to reinstall any addons or aircraft from reverting. Are there any P3D files that need to be saved before reverting i.e and settings configuration or other configuration files?

Hello Everyone I am 75 years old and not very technical. I am looking to add an SSD 6TG to transfer all my add ons : OBX, FlyTampa Fc Sceneries to instead of having everything my c drive. The problem is that I do not know how to do it. Many charitable persons have given me in passing some advise like Lorbi organiser or “ I have around 9tb of SSD space. Gradually added 2tb m.2 sticks and installed my addons there.. But to me , unfortunately, it means nothing. Is there a place where I could find a step by step way to do it in layman’s term? Flying the Xtreme Prototypes Lear 25 requires the correct amount of fuel to be loaded. It’s calculated by PFPX. Unfortunately getting it loaded into the tanks has always required me to edit the values in the P3D interface which has never been changed from FSX days. I can use the refuelling option in GSX but the problem is getting the tanks empty in the first place. Fortunately I’ve got a method of doing that now. It involves using FSUIPC6 to create a set of commands that sets all tanks to zero with one button click. Details here. All that’s needed now is for more fuel options in GSX. I have Prepar3D Professional Plus. I have a scenario made with multiple aircraft. I would like the ability to give certain aircraft failures at a point of my choosing. I have tried to have a play, but I can only find a way to preset a failure in SimDirector and then manually trigger it from the sidebar. Is there a way I can click on the player and assign a failure of my choosing?

Hello. I'm trying to enhance an airport that a friend of mine made using ADE. I want to add more realistic grass textures to replace P3D's default grass textures. I know that I can do this through ADE by using the custom ground poly option, however I have zero knowledge on how to use Photoshop to create my texture. I was wondering if someone who's done this before would have a more realistic grass texture that I could just add to ADE and use with the ground poly. Thanks Eduardo

I have massive problems with rc43 installing in my new PC. Finally I got downloading and preparation acc the included readme till I start the installation. The installation starts promising, until the installer ask for a wav file named "winwood\53\cntr107.wav". pushing retry, or even ignore did not help. Installation stops. I checked the Winwood folder and it looks like that there a lot of wave files are missing. At least there are some gap between files 5 and 10, 31 and 50, 53 and 102, 110 and 112, file 281, 295 and 300. Any help is very appreciated. Peter

Error message System.NullReferenceException Message=Object reference not set to an instance of an object. Source=ASP3DV6 Following the above is a ~ 40 page error message. Everytime I open it I get, "Another session is already running. Do you want to terminate it?" This started two days ago, coinciding with the error message. Answer yes, error message. Answer no, it closes. When I googled the message it suggested reinstalling which I did. I'm at a loss. I have submitted a ticket at hifi.

Hello, I would like to remove the default One World Trade Center building in NYC from my P3Dv5. I successfully converted the textures of an old FSX scenery of the original World Trade Center and now its visible in P3Dv5 too. However, its not too realistic if the current One WTC is standing right next to them. Is there a way to remove the new WTC from the sim? I tried looking around the default scenery files but couldn't find anything. I'd appreciate the assistance! PS: I'm not trying to recreate or do anything malicious, I just want to make NYC look more like it did in the 80s and 90s, as I often fly retro aircraft.
