Hi, I have a problem with FTX lights, it does generate too late, only generates at 3000ft or 2000ft and should generate more earlier. Anyone has any idea of what's going on? What can be? I have some people which lights starts appearing at 12000ft or more ealier. I'm using FTX Global.

Right so I purchased the 172 from A2A for FSX before P3D v2 came out. Now I use P3D v3...do I have to pay the upgrade, are there new installers, where do I download the latest installers? CheerS!

All the suddenly the key commands seems to gone crazy. Have tried the default controls settings without any luck. Its this issue like multi assigning is in place . If i hit the mouse button on the desktop in W10 it highlights 5 or 6 items. The same goes inside P3D Its a conflict for sure but how can i nail it down ? I have unstalled GSX to see if it was the CTRL-F12 thing wit EZCA but its not Any ideers to make out of it ? When i quit P3D the conflict still takes place Thanks Michael Moe

Bought and installed into V3. Missing textures and control issues. Anybody else having this problem?

Can anyone figure out how to calibrate a joystick in P3D V3.0? I cant find how to calibrate it in Windows 7 either. I'm using a Cyborg X and having some serious right rudder issues. When testing, the right rudder is only able to use about a 1/4 of its force, compared to full use of the left rudder.

Used the developer Version and cycled the scenery library . Installed Flytampa KBOS. Anyone had success installing the QW757 into p3d v3? I tried to use there p3d installer, but it just closes after a few seconds.

Hello i have tried everything to install UT2 in p3d v3 but when i start p3d i get an error message saying this feature requires that {smartassembly} is available on this computer p3d still loads and i can play it but there are no ai aircraft i have windows 7 64 bit ultimate and net framework 4.5.2 am i doing somrthing wrong thanks.

I've been in and out of simming for almost 20 years (yikes). I recently got back into after reading about P3DV3 and of course had to buy a new computer to go with it. While I am very happy with what I see and how it runs, I am sort of sad to see that the aviation data base hasn't been updated since FSX or am I wrong. What I mean to say is that airports that have changed identifiers are still the old identifiers from years ago. Allentown/Queen City airport has long been changed to KXLL, frequencies are old and airports that have added towers still are not Class D airports in the data base. Hi, I was wondering if anybody knew of a way (or a product) that allowed us to define a location in the cockpit for an extra window, like the GPS window? What I'm looking for is a way to have the equivalent of a GPS strapped to my leg in the cockpit, so that when I glance down I can see it, but it doesn't follow me around the cockpit like it does at the moment. It's help with aircraft that don't have a GPS (a la G1000 glass cockpit) without filling up a chunk of the screen all the time, and once we start seeing VR headsets becoming a bit more common with their head tracking I think it'd help to be able to look around the virtual space and have things not follow t…

Thats me installed PMDG 737 NGX and Ezdok with no problems woohooo and wow what a difference! I have a few questions - how do i exit back to the splash screen from a flight? Can someone post or link me what P3D settings i should use in the world section, Simulation section and Display. Thanks

I have been slowly. cautiously, installing P3D V3 on my system. Unfortunately, it has completely corrupted my version of P3D v2.5, in that the "Prepar3d V2 Files" under "Documents" no longer exists. Instead, they are now "Prepar3d v3 Files". Guess what: all my flights, all my airports, from Prepar3D v2 are gone. I am growing weary of this crap...

I used to have really good anti-aliasing but for some reason after an Nvidia update I think the anti-aliasing quality has gone down a lot and jagged edges are very noticeable. I have tried using the same settings I previously used and other profiles and I can't get it to the quality that it used to be. I'm currently running p3d v2.5 and I would GREATLY appreciate any help that you guys can give me!!!

Hi guys, I'm wanting to make a few tweaks to my CFG that could possibly help me get smoother performance etc out of P3D v3. I've not made any changes just yet but can anyone recommend the best tweaks that will increase frames and let me run P3D as smoothly as possible? My PC is a Chillblast PC specifically designed for FSX and P3D, however as we all know sometimes a few tweaks are necessary just like in FSX to get everything running at its best. Hello, I'm using mytraffic 6 in P3D V3 and I was wondering if there is a way to turn the AI engine volume down a bit as it seems overly loud even when your in the VC. Any help would be appreciated. Regards, Joe

Got a buddy that had a bunch of pc problems and because he had to reinstall windows several times while trying to fix these problems he also had to reinstall P3D several times. Last time he tried he got a message saying his number of downloads were up. They said they would give him a new serial number but it could take several days. I wondered why they could not send out the number sooner. In FSX we could call and get a number right away if we needed more downloads. Anyway it has been several days and no new number has been emailed to my buddy. I know I would hate to be without the sim for any length of time. So be prepared for a wait if you exceed your dow…

Hi, I've just bought FTX Global Vector and after a fast download I am trying to install it, however the installer just stops without any message. What I did and what happens: * Extracted the zip-file * Start the executable, enter registration and the setup starts un-wrapping the installer * I get a message saying I should not click "Finish" until the installer is finished * The installer starts and asks me to agree to the license agreement * I click next and the installer says "Preparing to install, checking file conditions" * when the green bar for checking file conditions is full, the installer stops, and only the unwrapper is there waiting for me to click …

V3 brought every single thing we had hoped for in a staple replacement for FSX. It's safe to say Lockheed have gone above and beyond our expectations and V3 is WELL deserving of another $60 or $200..A REAL first impressions...not just talking about updates and changes with default scenery...certain popular youtubers should have done better.. Mind I remind you every single essential add-on works albeit with some tweaks, though all should have updated installers to rectify any issues with installation. Aerosoft has posted a list of compatible P3dV3 addons. Before installing read Mathijs Kok's release notes It seems to have installed with out issue, just waiting to see how it looks. Kevin

I know this is done to death, but i'm starting to look into swapping FSX for P3D. What things should i be aware of? Can i still use FSUIPC, Active Sky Next, Ultimate terrain Europe, UK2000 scenery Airports, 737 NGX, as you can see i have a few addons, are these all transferable?
