Hoping someone can help me. After several days of trying to resolve a problem with intermittant sound, I decided to do a system restore - hopefulloy to a point before the sound problem began. After the restore, everything looked generally okay and I launched P3Dv3. The default flight came up (one I had saved previously), where the a/c was the Carenado Seneca V. Did a short flight and then selected Change Vehicle from the menu, choosing the Carenado Navajo, which I had installed just the evening before. When I launched the flight I got these two error messages: Visual model could not be displayed Carenado PA31 Navajo N8682S and Failed to startu…

Hello! I installed the new " prepar3dv3 " and am very happy with the result. With regard to air traffic, the problem is with navigation lights . All aircraft have " shockwave lights" , but these lights (which in the " Prepar3D v2.5 were perfect ) are now looking like I show in the photo captures. The flashing lights are slow ( not as before in P3D V2.5 ) and when I walked away from the aircraft, the halo becomes larger with a black circle . Could someone help me? what has changed in the exhibition of lights ? I played with the settings of the "HDR " but the result was the same. I have two GTX970's in SLI but they never reach more then 55% usage in P3Dv3. Anyone else experience anything similar or better? Any tips?

I've tried FS Real Time and it does not solve this issue, at least not for me. Yes, I know, you can press the clock and adjust it to the correct time then it will load up once again, but that may push daytime into dusk or dusk into nighttime - which is not correct at least not here in Norway.

I was just wondering if it make sense to have 3 Nvidia gtx 760 4GB Video Cards with an Sli Bridge overkill or not? Would it help with perfromance or not Or should I just stick with what I have? Current Rig: i7-4970k 32gb DDR3 2X -4gb 760 GTX 500GB SSD for OS 250GB SSD for Prepar3d Windows 10. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated...

I am using AirHauler and frequently the weather has not been so great so I need to continue the approach under IFR. A lot of the fields that it has me flying jobs into do not have an instrument approach. I thought I had seen a utility to create an instrument approach into any airport that could be used with built in GPS? In addition to that, is there anything similar to airnav.com for finding instrument approaches (my base is in Europe)?

Anyone here running P3D with a second small monitor or even any kind? I had my 2nd monitor setup in FSX working fine i can even go into full screen in FSX without my 2nd monitor going blank basically cutting out since setting up P3D and going into full screen mode my 2nd monitor now cuts out and goes blank.

Hi everyone, I've just installed p3dv3 along with the various add ons that I was running in fsx. Everything is going smoothly, but for some unbeknownst reason I cannot see orbx vector lights in the sim. I get an error in the log when exiting p3d which states that it failed to load orbx lights. Any ideas? Unfortunately I'm using my phone to post, so don't have the actual wording of the error log to paste in.

Hi, question from a soon-to-be first time P3Dv3 user. I have a lot of add-ons for FSX over the years and today after much research currently have P3Dv3 downloading right now. Should be complete for installment tomorrow. Is it possible to just copy and paste most of my Add-ons from FSX/Addon files to P3D/Addon files and just activate them or are we looking at a long couple of days and bandwidth re-downloading and installing files some over a GB in size? Any information is appreciated and as far as the OOM's i hope we have seen the last with P3D as it matures. Can you just copy and paste or is there a certain way or a step by step. Thanks again.

Currently on v3 and only flying PMDG for the moment. I noticed something weird with the aircraft lights. When Landing, taxi lights , etc are switched on I can see them very well from the flightdeck but if I turn on an outside view they cannot be seen. Any solution/advice much appreciated.

Have installed p3d v3 when it came out and now these past few weeks - after a few moments in the sim the mouse starts moving on its own and gauge click points become impossible to use. It was random but now does it all the time. Come out of sim and mouse stops and is back to normal. Using WIN10,PMDG 777-737,Dash400, Ezdoc,Fsuipc registerd 4.948, and mainly default scenery - boring I know. Anyone experienced this and a possible answer - have tried wire and wireless mice, update drvrs but all do the same - cannot remember any update that would interfere with this. Denis Brown

Hi guys Did anyone came across this problem? Today i was flying the PMDG NGX and i got instructed by ATC to climb flight level FL550. In the Flightplanner its says FL390. Is it a bug?

Apparently the latest Orbx libraries installation will completely remove your Orbx folder and all scenery entries. System restore won't help you then. Watch out... I will wait to install till this gets sorted out. Donald

Hi Folks, I installed WOAI on my P3D and everything works fine but one tiny thing. I don't see the flight plan on the traffic planes. In FSX it works fine where is see from where to where the plane is flying. Curiously, in the p3d.cfg file, I set the settings to Flight plan to =1, saves the settings and when i open it again, it switches back automatically to 0. Please advise thanks Marek LOWW

I have a weird problem: If I start up the NGX at night, and turn on landing lights etc, the ground is rightly enlightened as it should. However, if I boot up at day or dusk, and change time to night OR if time progresses during flight fra dusk to night, there is absolutely no landing lights nor taxi lights illuminating the ground whatsoever. I think Shockwave lights cased this issue. I installed it with migration tool, but since it didnt work I simply removed it and also removed the entries from the ngx aircraft. text file. Hi..I see many users suffering with FPS issues when encountering clouds. There is an entry under [WEATHER] in the P3Dv3.cfg which is: "OPTIMIZE_DENSE_CLOUDS=0". Any simmers know what effect this has? Sound similar to the "OPTIMIZE_PARTS" entry??

I have downloaded form flightsim store FS Global 2010 and it has several .zip files .z01 .z01, etc. but there is no tutorial to install it, please anyone can help me step by step instalation. thanks in advance.

Anyone got good rough settings to start off with for HDR lighting at the NGX. The reason why i'm wanting to use HDR option is, if i have it unticked my DOME lights don't show and appear to be not working! They are infact working its just that i need to fiddle about with the HDR options and sliders.
