Hi I have p3d v3.4 and I installed vidp scenery. When I load the scenery it looks like this: http://i.imgur.com/FSfsGak.jpg And when I am doing slew I can see back the runway http://i.imgur.com/LqXtWo2.jpg I think I have some problems with the altitude.. Any ideas how to fix it? Thank you

I installed the latest update to AS16 the other day,6239, and on the next two flights I had FPS getting lower and lower as I flew along with stutters which I never had. I turned off AS 16, FPS went up stuttering stopped. Restarted AS 16 and gradually the same thing happened. I had a back up of the previous Version of AS16, 6197, went back to the older version and now everything is back to normal. I am wondering if anyone has had a similar problem.

Hey got a quick question Since almost all of us are not doing underwater stuff in P3D. So, is it wise to disable or remove this entry from scenery.cfg Does this entry help at all with waves and water textures at all?

Hi! I have just bought and downloaded and installed ORBX Global base pack I installed it through FTX central However, when I click the setting and access the Global base pack, I found that I could not use the Control Panel(which was gray in color). Any idea how to solve it? Thanks!

What are the best REX 4 clouds to use to get the best smoothness and FPS?

I won't have time to look at it, but Windows 10 Game Mode will be available in an insider preview released sometime today. Apparently, it pushes background tasks to a couple of cores and leaving the bulk of the cores 100% dedicated to the game. Reports are a 3 to 5% framerate improvement and smoothing. Sounds very promising. Techradar gives info on how to sign up for insider previews. Keep in mind if you install a preview, to go back you may have to completely reinstall Windows. Hello. I'm new to this forum, and also new to flight sim. Recently, I was thinking about my throttle. My throttle has only one axis. (Thrustmaster T.Flight Hotas 4) When one engine failure or engine fire happens, I think you have to put failed engine's throttle to idle. but how can I do that in one axis throttle?

Just recently I had this problem in P3D (Had it forever in FSX) where all ground vehicles and my aircraft jump up and down a few times. I was just flying the PMDG 747 v3 and on takeoff I smoothly rotated and it slammed me into the map to where the wing flex had engines 1 and 4 touch the ground. I know this is a very frequently asked topic but not many of the answers I've came across have really helped me.

Hello captains, I just did something wrong uninstalling the Ultimate Realism Pack/ReShade combo, and messed up my backup files in the simulator's folder. (You know, sometimes it happens) And I would like to know if any kind soul would upload this entire folder for me and anyone in need, due to the simulator NOT starting and showing this exact error: Thank you a lot in advance! Hi Folks: I believe in the latest P3D hotfixes the MAX_VC_TEXTURE_RESOLUTION setting entry has been added by LM on the [MAIN] section of the P3D.cfg file. Does anyone know what's the effect of this setting and what is the direct result of using it, performance & VAS of FPS wise?. What do you know it will happen if it is changed to a higher value, 4096 for instance?. Cheers, Ed

Been having stuttering problems with P3d lately, could it be a video driver?

I have been using Horizon Generation X photo scenery in Prepar3d very successfully for some time now. Recently however, Prepar3d seems to be deleting it automatically. I can load the scenery and it will display correctly the first time I run Prepar3d. After that, when I load the simulator, I get error messages saying the scenery cannot be found, and also the scenery sequencing is corrupt and will try to repair this. When the simulator eventually loads, it is back to default scenery. This happens regardless if I use the migration tool or install directly. I have tried to repair the P3d installation and also tried a fresh download. This has only been happening recently and …

I've been chasing this down for weeks, it is those annoying pauses lasting 1-3 sec sometimes longer. I initially thought it was the long frame "stutter" that happens when P3D is loading scenery objects but I ruled that out. This turns out to have nothing to do with P3D setup and is a quirk with Windows Defender. I noticed the pauses always had a significant increase in kernel activity on the CPU activity charts and a burst of activity on the I/O chart signifying SDD activity. I finally tracked this down to the MsMpEng module, and with the help of Google I found that this is the Windows Defender engine and there were many many links in Google regarding this exact sa…

Hey there...just look at the images. In Mountains I always get these kind of shadows and the other images show strange shadows and horizontal lines. Any Idea what that is and how to fix it? Thanks for any hint! :-)

Hello all, I'm trying to download and install, but after extracting the file I get is a bunch of another zip files, and no *exe" file. so the other option is "Open in FTX Central" , I click and nothing is happening Any thoughts ?? BTW Can I use this in order to tweak the Halo lights in SoCal region at all ?

All, I try to add a plane to the database, and when I click "add from template" or "add aircraft" it just does nothing. Then a few moments later, it crashes PFPX due to "ntdll.dll" Anyone had this issue?

Hello everybody! I have a big problem with my P3D. I write this because I hope I could get help from somebody. So I have big lagg and stutter lagg also in Prepar3D. My Configuration: -Intel Core I7 4771k -16GB 1600mhz RAM -EVGA GTX 1080 -Good Cooling And I have lagg and stutter. My Settings in P3D: First in Prepar3d.cfg. -Texture Max Load: 4096 -LOD: 9.5 -Another settings are default I tried set to lower number but same. I used the Prepar3D with this LOD with no lagg and stutter. I reinstalled the latest Prepar3D.I also used the Ultimate Realism Pack without reShade. Then the settings: [ I use everywhere orbx. All.
