Hi, Does anyone have a fix for moving both throttles simultaneously, while the hardware throttle is operating via FSUIPC? In my case a CH Pro Throttle. Thanks, Jim H.

Hi, I`ve just bought Prepard3d and am expierincing something strange regarding surrounding planes when i`m at a gate on eham. The planes around me seem to be there but are not in 3d, but like painted on the ground. When I change view to top down they seem to be 3d again. Untill now I`ve only bought schiphol from Flytampa as a scenery. Does anybody recognise this behavior and perhaps know a solution ?

Morning, Not sure if anyone else has experienced this, but I decided to try one of the basic flight missions (there's one where you fly to three balloons in the sky and then return to the airport and land)... However for something called "basics of flight" (or something similar), I found it almost impossible to fly the little plane!? I was constantly pulling back on the stick to keep the thing flying level. I ended up having to play around with the trim for 10 minutes just to keep the plane in the air. While I agree that you would use trim in a normal flight, but when I flew with an instructor, he handled the trim before handing me the controls... So my q…

I just got back from vacation and started up the sim as well as TRACKIR. For some reason, I cannot get TRACKIR to change my camera angle in P3D anymore. It appears to be working fine in the TRACKIR application. Any ideas as to how to fix this? It worked fine before vacation and I haven't updated anything upon coming back.

Take a look at Mathijs Kok's (Aerosoft Admin) desktop..... see anything interesting? Not sure if this is 100% legitimate but very surprising.

Hi all, Just to get it out of the way, I am running P3D v4.3 ad UT2 v2.10. Im not really sure if this is the appropriate place in the avsim forum to post this but here goes. Im wondering if anyone else is having this issue. I noticed that i had "GHOST FLIGHTS" flying around in my sim with me. That is to say they have an ATC label (which i have turned on for troubleshooting,) but no aircraft model is displayed. Other flight numbers using this exact model however are displaying just fine. I read that this issue is caused by changing an aircraft.cfg file's "UI_VARIATION=" or the "TITLE=" line once this particular aircraft repaint had allready been assigned in t…

Hello! I've got a pretty annoying problem in p3d v3.. With blurries it seems like im the only one who really has this kind of problems with them. Yes I know that there is distant blurries in P3D, but I don't think there is on this level. Hi fellow pilots, I posted this today on the P3D forums, and I'm sharing it here, after waiting YEARS to get rid of NVidia "Surround" views on my triple monitors in Prepar3D v.3.3.5, I stumbled across 2 software products by a company called Fly Elise. Let me invite you to watch this product on my YouTube channel and compare the views at 60-degree offsets vs. much smaller offsets in NVidia Surround on those same 3 monitors. The difference is ASTOUNDING. This solution requires high performance video card, my system is 4.0ghz i72600K mild overclock. Hi all, Can anyone recommend a Bizjet (I prefer a long range, or at least across the pond capable) however I would like it more to be able to handle the small ORBX airfields and have VNAV/LNAV/FMC or equivalent. Joe

I run p3d 3.4 on a system with multiple sound outputs - Normally onboard Realtek speaker outputs or a LX3000 MS USB headset. Normal usage is all outputs are routed to the USB Headset. If I switch to speakers all sounds emanate apart from the ATC dialogue which stays resolutely on the Headset!? Now there appears to be no way to get this to switch away in the software, is there a configuration file somewhere? Also I notice that on some aircraft incorrect sound setup can cause the dreaded stutters and it begs the question that the whole issue of 'log jams' in the sound chain could be an issue - there seems to be no use of ASIO drivers such as ASIO4All to alleviate any 'slowd…

HI all I just got a new 1070 card, and trying out and playing with some settings, that used to be unreachable due to my sweet 760 (still love you ) One fo them is clouds, it is so nice to actually maintain 30 fps in full overcast instead of 12, haha. But view distance of clouds always bothered me, a hard line of where clouds stop.. So, what do you guys recommend, using AS16, ASCA, quite low res (512)(VAS and hey, fps still!) what are good settings? I see different recommendations (Robs e.g. live cockpit etc) How far can we go? LM would like addon scenery stay outside the main folder. AS earlier has stated to continue what they are doing now : their own aerosoft folder in the main folder. Aircraft already need to be installed into P3Dv3 directly like before. Carlito explained his way installing Addon scenery : 1. Setup a directory for add-ons outside of the P3D v3 main directory, In my case I created a folder D:\P3D_Addons 2. Copy the entire "Addon Scenery" and "Aerosoft" folder from the P3D v2.5 installation to that new folder 3. Copy the "Effects" folder from the P3D v2.5 installation to the new folder 4. Hello! I was after a little advice on what settings are available for the "MaxRegiosPurgePerFrame" setting. Using the fantastic AVSIM guide, i have managed to get a pretty fluid and stable P3d running. However, i am aware of a small stutter when changing this setting from 4 to 16. 4 causes to much VAS usage, whereas 16 indices the small stutter. My question is, what are the values available? From what I read, and I maybe wrong, the values to use are 1, 4, 16 or 64. Is this correct or are there other values that can be used? Ideally A balance between 4 and 16? Thank you!

Can anyone give the best setup for the lightening section in prepar3d v3 under the options section , mine looks blurry and the sky is almost grey not blue I apreciate the help. Amr

Not sure what happened but for some reason I can no longer hold SPACE and use my mouse to pan around. Depressing SPACE I see a cross-hair and I can use the wheel on my mouse to zoom in/out but that's it. I recall having this issue in the past but can't remember what caused it and how to fix it. Anyone?

Yesterday everything was fine and working properly. Today P3D V3.4.22.19868 professional client, 3.4.18.19475 content, professional, and scenery. starts to the splash screen then a loading bar with loading scenery objects complete runs, then the splash screen disappears with prepar3d.exe still showing in the task manager with a working set (memory) of ~347.8k. Ive ended the process then restarted the computer with no change. Ive uninstalled the Client then reinstalled with no change. Ive deleted (copied to desktop) the prepar3d.cfg allowing the system to rebuild with no change. Ive removed the addon scenery from the scenery.cfg (backed up to seperate .txt file on deskto…

Hi all, I am in the process of transitioning from my FTX Global / OpenLC product to photoscenery for Europe. As I fly mostly in Europe I find it much more immersive and realistic than the artificial patterns of FTXG. My next quest is search for a good mesh, and as most photosceneries have an accuracy of 1m/pixel, I am interested in the high res LOD13 (5m) mesh products. In the past I have purchased FSGenesis NextMap bundle for Europe, but as the website moved I can't find my purchases and there is no answer from the developer some days now since I emailed him. Has anyone else experienced this issue with Imaginesim's KLGA? I'm running P3D with ORBX FTX Global & Global Vector. If I start at KLGA, everything seems OK, however if i start somewhere else and fly in, this is what I see on approach. Following Tom's suggestion that we split out individual issues with 2.1 into separate posts, I'll provide my observations on a possible memory leak here. I've also posted details on the LM forum. We all know that OOMs can be triggered by a combination of complex airplanes and airport sceneries. However what I'm seeing happens when flying over the treescapes of northern Canada. With any setting of the vegetation autogen slider greater than 'none', and at a height where vegetation is visible, I can watch the free VAS counter gradually decrement, eventually leading to an OOM. When I set the slider to 'none', the free VAS remains static. My conclusion is that there is so…

I changed OS and had to start from scratch. First of all I am not very happy that I have to download all my orbx purchases again via the new FTX central. I have all the installers from the flightsimstore! I live in a remote area without ISP competition so i pay rip off prices for internet with low download limits so it will take me several months to get all my products without paying massive over data charges. How do i save the installers / download files for future installs? Thanks
