Hi there! I bought and installed T2G´s EDDM today. I uninstalled Aerosoft´s Mega Airport Munich first, and deleted its entries in the scenery library. The 3 new entries for the new EDDM scenery are present, in the correct order (as described in the PDF manual). The runways look quite strange though, with some super wide default runway and taxiway texture showing through the new scenery at a few spots: What could be the problem here? After I reinstalled Prepar3D on a new computer I now get these two strange (?) icons in my startup window as well as in the main P3D window. One is a microphone icon and right next to it sits a kind of circle icon.. Has any of you an idea how I can get rid of them? Thanks, Hans

I don't know if this allowed Jim so please forgive me and remove it if you think it's not correct. I am looking to buy a RealAir Lancair v2 for P3D. If anyone is willing to sell one if that's even allowed please let me know. I don't know about transferring license or anything. Just throwing this out there.

Hey guys, So as I have said before in a thread I have upgraded my system ( I7 6700K 4.7Ghz best OC i could get it too, GTX1070 ROG STRIX 8GB, 16GB ram, Corsair H110I cooler ) Now I just have a few questions - - Im now using the 4XSGSS through Nvidea inspector, pretty much the only tweak im really using, but it still seems that the VC is blurry in a way, have all the P3D in sim settings set to Max. - Best PTA Tool preset? Which one is everyone using for realism / Looks ? - Should I enable or disable hyperthreading ? - Any tweaks people are running for P3D / Nvidea control panel / Nvidea inspector ? The recent statements of OrbX and the closing statement of LM in the release note for 3.4 hotfix 3.4 seem to point directly to an upcoming 64bit version 4 of P3D. While in itself that's wonderful news, it makes me wonder what will happen with the current sh*tload of addons (99% payware) I have. The main reason for me to transfer from FSX to P3D has always been that the vast majority of addons I already had for FSX could still be used. To my (very limited) understanding of the whole 32bit vs 64bit thing, the change of the platform to 64bit will have a major impact on the existing addons. So the question is, will we be able to continue to use the addons we currently have…

So i have just purchased a pc it is: Intel i5 3570 4.0ghz nvidia GTX660 I know its nopt the be all and end all but as i am new to PD3 i dont really know which setting to adjust, do i use nvidia inspector or use PD3 own setting? Any help would be fantastic

Just reinstalled P3D once again and have noticed some odd textures at dusk it seems. It appears in a box form around by aircraft. Any idea if this is normal or and issue and if so is there a fix? I used Jan 7 at 5:35pm eastern time. Its at every airport I go to and every aircraft I use as well. Hoping its just a P3D thing and everyone has it so I can actually fly and not try and fix it. Is there any scenery out there (payware or free) that is for O'hare? I'm looking for at least the new runway configuration if not high quality scenery like a Flightbeam or Flytampa. The default airport has the old runway setup. That makes it challenging when flying online and getting cleared for a runway that isn't there.

I installed about 150-180 sceneries (most of them of aerosoft,FSDT,flytampa and taxi2gate) but I disabled all of them and enable it when I fly between 2 airports. Hello - Dumb question here: I had an inadvertent termination and uninstall of P3d last week, and due my concern that I had not properly deactivated my license, I contacted LM a few days ago for a deactivation. The reason I did this is because I am working a ton of hours (tax season) and wanted to get the ball rolling so that I was in good shape once i reinstalled P3d. It ends up that I had time for a reinstall over the weekend, and successfully activated P3d (perhaps the deactivation wasnt necessary). I also got several other programs (UTX, FTX Global, and several others) installed and it took a few hours to do so. This morning I received an email from LM that my license …

So often times my spoilers get stuck in the position shown here. Unbinding and binding the spoiler in Spad.next, FSUIPC and default controls whilst making sure there are no conflicting key binds does not seem to help at all. Even just using my mouse to move the spoiler recreates this issue. If I want to move the spoiler to off... it moves to this. If I want to move the spoiler to full... it moves to this position. I have tried everything. Again NO conflicting keybinds and have tried binds in spad.next. fsuipc. and p3d. I had trouble years ago w/ some kind of weird insidious and progressive deterioration in frame rates that was traced to this scenery add-on, so w/ my last full install 9/2015 of P3D 3.0 I never reinstalled them. They do have an installer now for V3 P3D, so I installed them then proceeded to have problems w/ the PMDG 777--this may have been caused by one more change done around the same time, and that was installation of GSX's latest 'Major update'. All of this resulted in me reinstalling off a complete clone done maybe a month ago, so fortunately it's quite up to date and restored things thankfully. Hello!! I am currently flying FSX:SE and considering to shift to P3D after my new PC arrives. I have a question, when installing P3D, should I install it in a drive with Windows 10 or can I install it on another drive without windows? Hello, I'm currently with 3.4HF2 and all those struggles with FSL Bus VAS usage made me think to switch to 3.3.5. However, I see that only Clients alone are available and my question is whether it will be truly enough to replace the Client only to see VAS improvement? Thanks Dmitriy

When I close P3D v3.4.18 I get an error message in a P3D windows, saying to check the log-file and in the log file there's a whole row with messages saying: [error.0] error=unable to create effect '(null)' [error.1] error=unable etc Anyone know what to do about this error?

Hello everybody, I just got this 4k monitor and wanted to know if anybody had experience with P3D v3.4 on that panel. First impressions are good : some ghosting on fast games (NBA2k17, PES2017), but nothing too bad. I can say that it's a good device for a relatively low price. I have however some issue with P3D, especially when panning around (with and without TrackIR). 4k image is very crisp and smooth with 30Hz (native on that monitor) and 30 FPS when looking in one direction, but there is definitively a motion blur when panning around even if FPS stays at 30. It is not that bad, but I was wondering if there was some trick to fix that. Thank you, JF.

I've tried to install the most recent version of FSDT KORD in P3D 3.4.22.19868 but the addon manager seems to crash it. Whatever I do I get the "a fatal error has occured" when P3D loads up. So I even went so far as to completely reinstall P3D from scratch. It loads ok, but when I install (as admin, virus scanner off) the most recent version of the addon manager I get the same error again. I noticed that when I delete the exe.xml and dll.xml in C:\ProgramData\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v3 the sim starts ok, but then the addon manager doesn't show so I can't use any FSDT or Flightbeam sceneries. Hi everyone Hopefully someone can shed some light on this problem I have Prepar3D spanning over three 27" Screens with a resolution of 5760x1080x32 both in Windows 10 and the simulator For some reason the image is looking incredibly 'squashed' up and all of the VC cockpit and engine cowlings views etc are pushed into the centre screen only I have tried deleting the CFG file so that it can rebuild itself but the problem still persists There is no problem in FSX ..they all look correct with the engine cowlings positioned nicely on screen 1 and screen 3 with most of the VC flight deck on the middle screen I have got some images of this problem but fo…
