Hello - Just got a new computer with a 256 GB SSD and a 2 TB Hard Drive. Today I installed P3D along with FTX Global UTX Canada, USA, and Europe, Mytraffic, etc, and I am now realizing I am starting to run out of space on my SSD, have about 40gb left. P3d just seemed to install on the SSD by default. Is this my best bet? Also, can I start installing addons and scenery to the E drive (non SSD) and will this work? I've recently found a topic, Im not sure if it was on avsim, that had a document with P3D V3 tweaks but I didnt bookmark it. It was the first time where I heard about the Shadercache Off option. It also stated things how to get P3D working well with G-Sync (Run vsync through nvidia inspector and not p3d). Has maybe anybody else watched that topic? Its not the avsim p3d guide for sure

This is stemming because FSLabs in what ever wisdom does not include an option to go cold and dark like other expensive payware developers for P3D do :( Anyway my issue is i loaded the F22 at desired location Ctrl Shift F1 the engines switched of the battery and saved this as a default flight. But when i load the default flight it puts me in the location saved but the battery is on and engines are running.... Why is this happening? The for any help. Regards

I'd like to change my mouse clicks similar to X Plane. I like the right click panning. Is there a way to do this? I'd like to set up the middle mouse button to do the function of the current right click (brings up menu) and right click to pan (the Space^move mouse). Thanks

Hi everybody! I ran into a problem. After installing some addons from Flytampa and NL2000 my Vector highways are gone... Strangely enough it DOES show the railroads, secondary roads, beaches etc. I've run the Vector configuration tool but no luck :( If there's a way to copy the scenery library I will put it here. I hope somebody has any ideas! Thanks

I'm running P3D v3.2 and can't get the slew command to respond. As a matter of fact, when I check the control list there are only 3 slew commands listed: Slew on/off (Y), Slew tilt left and Slew tilt right with out any keys assigned. I'm sure that it's mentioned somewhere in the forum but I couldn't find it. If anyone has any suggestions I would appreciate hearing them. Thanks, Don Bohr

hey guys, Can someone help me with my VTBS scenery? first, i am experiencing some glitch whenever i taxi to the gate, pretend into F5, when i reach at T14, it becomes bumpy and i can see some sort of soil coming out from the wheel of my a320. Also, the taxi lights are missing. I tried contacting the developer and it is asking me to update the scenery via simmarket. The problem is that i cant see any updates in simmarket. Cheers, Francis

Dear all, If I am writing in wrong place - sorry. Went thru the categories and could not find best. I figured out that you would know best anyway. I am looking for free base model for FSP 787-9 for FSX/Prepar. I know that he has payware on simmarket but there is only 777 for fsx and rest is for FS2004. Avsim library does not show results... using various shortcuts. Can someone help me, please? Tom Link

Hi All I have peculiar situation at Fairbanks Airport PAFA All my airports in my Flight Sim have aircraft at terminals,parked on grass etc except this particular Airport Anything I could do to correct this? xxd09

Hi All, Been using P3D (loving it over FSX) for a while now. In-fact just flew UA 737 (PMDG) into SFO from ORD. I used Ultimate Traffic for FSX but wondering if there is anything better? I thought I read a thread about a new AI traffic program or perhaps it was a dream.

i haven't experienced rotating clouds before. recently i reinstalled windows downloaded the latest version of p3d and now im experiencing rotating clouds. very frustrating. anybody help. im running P3D v3.4.18.19475

What do you think, what kind of FPS I will gain from upgrading from FX-8350 to i5-7600K? I have a GTX 770 video card. With PMDG 737, Orbx etc.

Hey guys, So ive upgraded my PC, thanks for all your help! I have seen heaps of videos with locking P3D at 30 FPS and setting the monitor refresh rate to 30Hz. Was just wondering if anyone can link me to a good monitor ? Cheers

Gentlemen, I've been away from simming for a year or so. Recently retired and now trying to reup, so to speak. Do to a corruption, I uninstalled P3D and reinstalled the latest version, then reinstalled FSUIPC and PMDG. EZDOC is giving me problems. I uninstalled it, deleted files including the user dir. files. I've reinstalled it using the Flight1 wrapper. All seems to go well. Config runs good. I start P3D and the old view keys don't work anymore but ezdoc is not in the modules drop down and mouse center wheel has no effect. What am I missing? My login at SimMarket is currently goofed up. Hi guys, I hope you all enjoy your new toys and purchases. I bought Taxi2gate Munich this sale period, unforunately I have problems with the winter textures showing black squares at the taxiway edges. I tried different variants, like downloading the latest installer from SM, updating to v1.2 from Taxi2gate website and then overwriting the textures with the downloaded seasonal ones, or just applying the ones that came with the SM installer, but without success. I also tried switching to another month. Any help would be highly appreciated, as I would like to enjoy a flight from Munich in winter.

As in, make it so seaplanes don't stick to it. Water is way slipperier in real life; as soon as you start the engine you're moving. Is there a way to do this?

Hello, As the topic states, I'm having weird issues relating to Weather Radar Returns using both T7/NGX. For instance, I'm leveled in flight & my ND (no matter range) shows inclement weather ahead, but by the time I reach it the weather dissipates. I know in the real world weather bad weather can brew very fast & also dissipates as quickly as it came....but this is ridiculous, it always happens. Never had this issue in FSX where I loved deviating around inclement weather Regards, Dario

FSX-SE edition on Windows 7 Home Premium. My Scenery files have suddenly gone haywire overnight, I have a loss of FPS, down to 15, the screen is stuttering quite badly and the scenery is populating all the time, textures are also incoherent with lines across the landscape etc. I have checked ‘Scenery Editor’ and all Orbx and FSX default scenery files, contained a red triangle with an exclamation mark and ‘Path does not exist’, (UK 2000 software is not affected) I attempted a backup of the files in SE, but it failed. I also checked the path of the Scenery.cfg file (C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\\FSX) but there was none in this format? Only ‘Scenery’ a copy of the file is at…

Hi Guys, I bought a copy last year until then I use the free version. I only bought it to use the ground friction mod for the NG. I don't even use that now on new install. I want to use two things. Could you pls give a dummy guild to turning both on pls? First I want to use/show the landing rate. Secondly i would like to use the new AI manager. I use traffic manager but if this does the same job then great. So could you pls explain how to get them two things working please. Thanks.

Greetings everyone, After many years away from the sims worlds, I decided to return, and of course I did it with the Sim that got me in this world for the first time MS Flight Simulator, Many years ago I started with FS95, the I moved to FS98 passed through FS2000 then 2002 and then 2004 with a brief moment of Terminal reality Fly!, when FSX went out, I installed it, at that time made I few flights but I stopped and never continued until now, Because of the limitation of the original aircraft I just bought also PMDG 737 and couple of airports, but for my sad surprise I wasn't aware of the limitation of the 32 bits DX9 architecture, even with my new pc able to run DOOM…

Hey guys, I am installing all my addons after a complete Win reinstall (p3dv3.4 latest HF) For some reason I noticed that the adding of a scenery via the scenery lirbary ingame doenst work anymore (tried it several times with HDFrankfurt X). Some minutes ago I installed some addons (warsaw, budapest...). They work fine. Any one know what is the problem? Or do you need more information? P.S.: Tried to delete an entry with no success, but no error message. Strange behaviour
