is there going to be an ultimate traffic 3 that works with p3d v3.

Has anybody given this a try yet. New this month compatible with P3Dv3 and they claim to have made improvements over all their other sceneries. I'd like to give them a chance, I've own a dozen of their sceneries over the years and they were relatively low quality, just a little better than using ADE to customize an airport. I am reinstalling all of my ORBX scenery into P3Dv2.5 and using the FSS Installers because I have already downloaded them and some folks are really having problems downloading from ORBXdirect after transferring their license. Since its a one way street transferring your license and no going back to the FSS installers once you transfer I did not want to risk it. I have already posted the same questions on the ORBX website but being it is the weekend I do not expect an answer until next week. I'd like to get this stuff installed today. Hi all- Easiest way to ask is this: Mostly I fly single GA; sometimes I like to fly a twin. If I have the CH multi-engine throttle, is there a way to easily switch between using the left three levers for a single to using all 6 for a twin? I have been trying to make one long flight but I keep getting crashes before reaching my destination. My comouter and video cards supposed to be the latest but keeps happening. Never had this issue before. Went to install P3D 3.4 (complete install) and now no matter what I do, after a few minutes in-game the whole computer starts to lag, eventually all but freezes (not totally, but it's unusable) and the symptoms last even after P3D is closed or crashes. I have to hard reset to make the computer usable again. I can confirm no other application, including stress testing of the various components causes this so it has to be something with P3D interacting with the OS or a driver. Things I've tried and confirmed aren't the issue: 1) Different versions of P3D all do it 2) Multiple reinstalls do not fix it 3) Having zero addons installed…

Hi all, On my disk, space is running really quite low, and I was wondering if I can remove some default simobjects to save space? Is this allowed or against the EULA? As in, does it count as reverse engineering or modifying? Thank you!

hello just updated a full clean install to p3d v3.4.18.19475 and am getting really bad stutters and fps seem to be a bit lower aswell anyone else experience this.

Hello all, I have seen numerous topics on this subject but nothing really conclusive. After adding a second monitor (4K) for P3D, I have lost the ability to bring up all three menus for AN16, GSX and ProAtcx. I can obviously rule out the culprit being these three apps so before I go and reinstall EVERYTHING again (I just did that last week after getting a new PC), I just wanted to know if anyone had this problem and successfully fixed it. Most forums on the individual app sites points to faulty P3D interface with simconnect and suggest a reinstall is in order. I'm confused about the scenery.cfg file I understand the entries have to be in a specific order Can anyone tell me in what order ? What must be on top and what near he end Also, if I look at the scenery.cfg file itself, the order is totally different then when looking at it in p3d or sceneryconfigeditor.

Little Help, Please. In the sound menu area; (P3dv3.4 or latest program) I have checked the boxes.and then .turned all the sound off and I still hear jet aircraft sounds like takeoff's or maybe annoying background noise on my speakers or headphones. ...maybe don't see them the aircraft..say Atlanta Hartsfield. Is this normal or are these sounds from an addon program like My traffic 6 or an atc program like vox.. Not sure. Thanks for any help. Bob M.

Hi, I have installed FTX GLOBAL VECTOR with FTX CENTRAL V3. It is quite good except for a strange problem that has risen...An oddly shaped "extra" piece of land has been added to the coastline not far from Adelaide, Australia. I have tried everything but the only thing that does work is uninstalling FTX GLOBAL VECTOR. The moment I do it the strange land formation disappeared. It has a rectangular shape. Any help will be greatly appreciated. I even tried disabling land elevations etc.

Is it just me or are the nights way brighter in V3 than any other sim? Even FSX seem to have darker nights. And if so, do anyone have a fix/hack? It's kind of ruining V3 for me.

FSDT still haven't accepted me as a forum user, so I'm on AVSIM for now with support. What is happening? I have no extra afcads for this scenery. Reinstalled, removing addon manager, I honestly have no idea. Any others had this issue?

Hi Folks, Just curious - the only plane in PMDG's inventory I have any interest in is the Jetstream - love small regional turbo-props (EMB-120, Saab 340, Dash 8/200, Beech B1900) - has any information ever been released on a P3D version ? Thanks... Regards, Scott

The atc_id entry in the aircraft.cfg file is correct; N491KQ. But when flight following or on an instrument flight plan or when contacting the tower they call me 10Q (One Zero Quebec) instead of 1KQ (One Kilo Quebec). Is there another place in P3Dv3 where they might be getting the wrong ID number? It's no biggie, but it is rather annoying. Noel

I'm looking to add something to add to my United Airlines fleet in FSCaptain. Right now I only have the PMDG 737NGX and 777, so looking for the next plane down in maximum passengers for the short hops to large terminals. Thanks in advance--prefer a jet but am considering the Majestic Q400 which I know is a winner. Which version would you recommend for the Q400. Is the 'Pilot' edition good enough for home user?

It looks like LM has made clients of older Prepar3D versions available for download, going back all the way to v3.0. This is a surprising move, given LM's strict policy on providing only the newest version for download in the past. You can find the old clients by clicking the "+" next to "Legacy Client Downloads" in the Download section.

I am having a problem in that every time I restart P3D, the non-ORBX scenery items in the scenery library change position. I have around a dozen non-orbx addon airports, and they should be near the top of the library (i.e., above Open LC and the FTX regions). It is a very labor intensive task to move these airports up near the top, and then when I close and later restart P3D, the non-ORBX airports have moved down again below the FTX regions and Open LC sceneries. So l have to move them up again. Using the FTX Central "scenery insertion point" tool doesn't seem to help because it only seems to address the relative placement of Open LC and FTX regions. Can anyone help?

Hi Folks, I downloaded both the latest update to the REX/MilViz Weather Radar and the latest P3Dv3 client - last night - installed same... I now have an error from what appears to the the MV weather DLL on startup and whenever I select an aircraft with the radar installed - and the radar never sees any weather... Is there an incompatibility issue between the two ? Thanks... Regards, Scott
