Hi All Sorry for the dumb question, but i'm having another senior moment!! Does the orbx library insertion point go above all the Orbx airports and scenery areas,but above any Orbx LC products or does it sit below the scenery but above the LC stuff ? Thanks

Hello, Let's say I have FTG/FTV/OpenLC USA combo and I'm pretty much satisfied with VAS performance in FSDT CYVR and T2G KSEA, what will be VAS effect if I add FTX PNW on a top of that sandwich? Will this area be still flyable on heavy jets with IFR conditions or I will end with OOM inevitably ?

I had a problem with P3D v.3.3.5, so decided to update to 3.4.9. But I am still getting crashes even before P3D has completed its opening sequence. The error message is "Error 0xfffffff7". I have tried running Repair on both Install_Client.msi and Setup, with no improvement. The error seems to be something to do with DirectX, according to logfiles. I have run DirectX's installation... again with no results. What else should I try?

Here are shots of my military cockpit for the A2A Constellation. Download at Flightsim.com - search for Paul Grubich in the file section. Almost all textures have been modified in some way to represent a weary worn military cockpit that will go very nicely with the stock Lockheed C-69 livery. New yokes and yoke buttons, new seats and seat back frames, many shades of green matching several photos of military pits, aged gauges and optional aged gauge illumination.

Thanks to Rob's excellent guide to P3D, I have my system running almost the way I want it. No micro-stutters, always fluid, textures look great, lots of scenery, landclass and most airports available for P3D (except Aerosoft, which I avoid when I can). The problem I've been trying to resolve for many sessions are the incidence of a long frame, longer than 1 sec and up to 3 sec, that typically occurs when the airport objects are being rendered somewhere around 10 nm inbound. Has anybody had success in reducing or eliminating these long frames (an exaggerated stutter)? It not for the lack of performance: i7-6700K 4.7 GHz liquid cooled, DDR4 at 3300 MHz, NVME SSD, …

I was thinking about this today. In all the discussions about P3D performance/settings we often talk about a high end computer vs medium vs low end. I realize this is a moving target and there is a continuum, especially as technology changes yearly (if not faster), but what fits the definition of each? Specifically, looking at my specs in my sig, how would one define my system?

Wondering if there was a traffic program that just put planes at the airport and not in the air? I would like to see some static planes at my airports similar to the way Xplane does it. I don't really care about in air traffic.

On December 24th after completing a vfr flight from Innsbruk to Salzburg I shut down my newly uptated P3d (v3.4.18 19475) complete with updates for AS2016 + ASCA, GSX, FSUIPC, I awoke 24th to find P3d would nor run up, jumping out of startup, remaining in memory but requiring a Task Manager sutdown to exit. Checking Microsoft Log for errors I found two error problems in GSX and FSUIPC not running. I reinstalled FSUIPC first and managed to get P3d running after a Client reinstall and a new P3d. cfg file, it ran once then would not run up again. Just tried to reinstall FSUIPC which installed again with no problem as if the old FSUIPC was still installed (usually FSUIPC obje…

Happy new year, I've been struggling with the Anti Aliasing in P3D v3. Its very shimmery, the autogen in far distance looks "liny" and ugly, sometimes also buildings at airports, as example FlyTampa Vienna. Have you guys any suggestions on whats the problem? I currently run a Zotac GTX1070 AMP! Extreme, i7 6700K (OC 4,6 GHz), 16 GB DDR4 RAM, ASUS 28 inches 4K Monitor. I bought the monitor two weeks ago so I'm new with 4K. Thank you very much. Ron

I just got a new Logitech G Saitek PRO Flight Yoke System,I use three axis throttle 1 and 2 set to first engine throttle and second throttle,in p3d-setting-control-axis-engine throttle set 1axis 2axis,but issue is 1st throttle control both engine,can not only 1st engine.2nd throttle is good control 2nd engine.how to setting each throttle control each engine

For some reason when I select spot view (or any other external view) I cannot see the aircraft. I can view the position lights but no aircraft. I have tried on default and 3rd party add-ons, but no change. I did have Ezdok 2 installed, so I uninstalled it but the result is the same. I haven't come across this before and have tried searching but couldn't find any matching issue. I am running 3.3.5 on i7 2600K with 16GB RAM and GTX 970 Thanks for any suggestions without having to resort to a reinstall (which I only did a week or so ago)

I purchased a new computer and am switching over to P3D. I'm looking at two products for improving the basic scenery. 1) FTX Global Base + FTX Global Vector + FTX Global openLC North America 2) GEP3D + UTX USA V2 + UTX Canada V2 Given that I only fly in the US and Canada, is one combo better than the other??

On a whim, I decided to fly the Falcon on a short CC into KORD last evening. Yikes! My poor old machine did not like that experience very much. I didn't turn on the FPS, but it had to be high single digits; or low doubles. I suppose I could turn down all my sliders; but I'll probably just stick with my piston Duke until I hit the Lottery someday. :-)

Hello. I am looking for recommendations on realistic looking scenery / photorealistic scenery that looks good from high altitudes in P3D. I fly airliners only and currently use Orbx vector, global, and open lc. While these are great, I find that much of the scenery in between cities doesn't look that great. I've seen something in xplane called Ortho4fx and that looks amazing. Is there something for p3d that is similar? I thought about megasceneryearth but I've read there is only one season, no night lighting and once you get to a low altitude it looks flat. That would be an issue for me. Is there anything out there that would be the. Eat of both worlds or is there…

Worked fine for years and know it doesnt. Seems to be after I updated Active sky 2016 (could be related?) Track Ir 5 Win 7 It works in all my other simulators. Any ideas?

Is there a way to run P3D on 2 pc's? I have my main PC with P3D and am basically out of hard drive space. I'd like to see if I can somehow utilize my hard drive space on my notebook and run my scenery, etc off of that. I downloaded some scenery yesterday but don't have space to extract it so I was thinking there might be a way to utilize my notebook. If this is possible, can someone explain how to do this? Thanks!

I noticed in a youtube video that FTX Norway has a realistic representation of the airport Orsta Volda ENOV, compared with that provided by freeware developers Airports of Norway, which I also have installed above FTX. Is it possible to provide me a list of other similarly renditioned airports in FTX Norway, so that I may remove the respe tive files from AoN in orderto take advantage of the better rdpresented FTX ones. Hi guys, As a fan of the US presidential plane, Air Force One, I am looking for a decent model that works for P3D. I already checked the library here for FSX/P3D but nothing came out. I also checked the various flightsim websites on the net but nothing to be found. Also I am looking for a good Marine One model (payware or freeware). Any help is much apriciated! Thanks! Guy

This may sound silly, but i cant seem to find a thread on how to.. If you try to uncheck the entry in the scenery library, it complains.. says its required.. Must be something else i'm missing here.. I'm testing the fact that it appears vector brings my fps down by about 6 fps when "enabled" (p3d v2.1) I only have one entry too.. ORBX!VECTOR_AEC Thanks for any input.. Hello, ever since i have installed EZDOC, i can no longer change my eyepoint up/down, left or right. when hitting the keyboard command for up and down, it stutters up and down but does not change the view point. hitting the keyboard for left and right does nothing. is there something that i am missing regarding the proper way to change eyepoint in EZDOC? thanks in advance

I am disappointed in this purchase. I posted the various reasons but that thread got deleted. Not sure why. 1. OOM VAS usage unacceptable for me 2. The throttle doesn't sit well for clb (but I am going to chalk this off as my setup issue for now). IT eithers moves to MCT or or CLB with a ping nagging me that the throttle is moving. 3. No amount of turning lights on the VC switches turns on my lights in my cockpit gauges (I'll chalk this off as my setup issue). But the OOM/VAS is just too much to handle. I can fly this in Princess Juliana ..Remote areas like that, I am able to fly...without any traffic etc. No sure If I want to fly it that way. I can…
