I noticed a turbulence problem with Real Air Legacy when trying to adjust the turbulence effect from ezdok, couldn't tone it down to where I wanted it. Later when flying the Aerosoft Twin Otter it was really out of wack in turbulence efftect and couldn't tone it down. It dawned on me that AS16 adjusts turbulence also, so I paused P3D and opened the wind options in AS16 and cut the turbulence effect down from default 70 to 50 (clicked on the apply to current weather) and then I could adjust the turbulence effect to more of my liking. Just sayin.....

I'm going to reinstall UTX/GEX with FTX/FTXV full install and I'd like to start with clean terrain.cfg. Are there any options to recreate one? Thanks Dmitriy

I must of been asleep since September. I didn't realize the 3.4 has been out since then. I am thinking I should upgrade to 3.4 just to be current. But don't understand how much may be involved. My 3.3.5 is running fine except CTD on long flights. I don't want to have to reinstall my add-ons. Could someone please tell me how much trouble it will be to upgrade. Thank You. Bill McCracken

Well, this is very strange. I tried saving a flight in the PMDG 777 tonight and when I did, P3D crashed. I loaded the 777 on the ground and saved again.... crash. OK, so I tried saving the default scenario in the F22.... crash. Anyone else encounter this issue? I'm using P3Dv3.4 (latest hotfix), Active Sky 2016 with ASCA, ENVTEX, Chaseplane, PTA, Track IR5.

Folks, I have a question for those who has the above-mentioned combo and runs P3D v3.4HF2 set-up. Recently I ran into problem when some forest areas in UTX-covered regions consist of green squares/tiles. In non-UTX areas this issue is more persistent. All, I'm still waiting on the FSDT Forum admin activation on my account, but I thought it would be a good idea to try posting here too. Basically my Hawaii pack sceneries look like this: No jetways, no floor inside, the inside has completely disappeared. Anyone else had this issue?

Hey guys, I need to reinstall my whole pc, so I got 2 questions. Maybe someone can give me some advice: First would it be worse to upgrade from win 7( love it) to win 10? Especially when i will upgrade my motherborad and CPU in autumm? How it Deals with p3d? Are there more issues than benefits? Secondly which Version would you recommend for p3dv3? Read from a lot of issues with the new HF2. Thanks for your help :-)

Hello everyone, Couple of days passed by, doing some changes from FSX to P3D sim. However cannot get P3D to work together with fs2crew.. And I absolutely have no clue what could it be. Its P3D V3 and FS2crew Reboot ngx. The problem is: I don't have a gauge in the center panel where I can click on. Also no 'C' helped, what should do the trick normally. I enabled the software in the external menu. and I can see it installed in the correct folder, with gauge entries from fs2crew on the panel.cfg And ideas? Thanks so much

Hi guys, I know this is better posted over on the SimForums, which is what I've done, but my experience over there is that replies can take for ages, so I thought I'd just throw it out here to see if anyone has any ideas. I have recently uninstalled FSX-SE and am in the process of installing P3d from scratch. In my eagerness to uninstall Ezdok from FSX, I did so via the Windows control panel before following the correct uninstall procedure, as I understand, there are a couple of procedures to also perform, which I did not do. Hellu to you all! I have a problem when extending flaps. Before I go further into the issue, I have tried resetting everything to default, tried both flightstick + Keyboard with no use. Now, when pressing the assigned and default keys for Incrementally extending the flaps, I see that they do in fact extend... but retract as soon as I lift my finger from the buttons/keys. Can anyone think of anything that might be wrong? Best regards, Drago

Hi, Just wondering if someone took this path already and what was your experience. I'm planning to roll back from 3.4HF2 to 3.3.5 and replace the Client/Content/SDK only. Are there any risks associated with such downgrade OR should I implement some counter-measures first? Thanks Dmitriy

Hello. I have Prepar 3d v.3.4 and many ORBX products as FTX Global, FTX EU Europe LC, FTX EU Norway. Now i have problem with some texture. I have groundtexture on some oceans, as Baltic sea. I can see land on water outside Estonia and Germany coast..What's wrong? Kjelle

Has anyone any ideas why my copy of P3d HF2 opens up in standard Virtual Cockpit view and after about 15 secs jump to an AI aircraft view, disrupting scenery loads?

Hi guys, Question. I just installed Aerosoft Kilimanjaro HTKJ into my P3d V3 and I copied the p3d exe into a desktop folder, pointed the installer there, and then copied the three folders over to my main. It seemed to go ok, but I didn't have very many night lights, so i thought, hey must be the scenery but to make sure, I uninstalled and ran migration tool and installed. Now it works perfectly. My question is,,,, what does the migration tool do that a manual install doesnt? Really curious..

Hi, I'm hoping to get some help. I have p3d v3.3 installed and having an issue with gsx. P3d is a full install, not just client and did a fresh install of gsx using the full installer. The problem I have is loading an aircraft on an airport runway I can open the gsx menu and it shows all the parking position but if I either select a gate and warp there no ground service vehicles display. If I then try to open up the gsx menu again it doesn't work. I've never had this issue before and can't work out what the problem is. I hope someone can help. Thanks

Hello dear community! I recently got a problem with my P3D v3 (worked fine a week ago) coming out of nowhere... I am starting my sim and everything is normal, getting my usual FPS of 35-40 in the PMDG NGX Cockpit Then in order to prepare my flight I am switching a few times from full to windowed mode (still on the ground) with no problems what so ever.. Then after take off when I switch to windowed mode from full screen mode the problems are starting, when leaving full screen mode (~40fps) to window mode I am suddenly only getting 1-2 fps in window mode... So overall I've been pleased with P3D version 2.2, but I have had terribly low FPS in the center of major cities, namely Houston where I have done my testing taking off from KIAH and flying towards downtown, watching my FPS go from 30 at takeoff to 10-15 around downtown sometimes dipping into single digits. This with a 3770k at 4.7 Ghz, and a new 780 Ti. I am testing with ORBX Global, Vector, My Traffic 5.4b, REX, OPUS (fairly heavy clouds), road traffic at 10, in the Milviz C310 with sliders pretty much hard right, shadows on but sliders towards the left. Ok, so I'm a bit confused about these files. I find two copies of each file, one in [c:\programdata\lockheed martin\prepar3d v3\] and another in [C:\Users\Andreas\AppData\Roaming\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v3] I have two questions: 1. Why are there duplicates? 2. If I need to adjust entries into either of these files, do I need to do the adjustments in both copies of the file?
