Hello, I am trying to combat the massive shimmering I have with the FSL A320. With the NGX, which I mostly fly, I was very successful adding mipmaps to all textures that shimmer in the sim. In P3D I am using 8x MSAA and 16x ANISO. That was, for NGX, enough. I added mipmaps do wings, engines and tail as far as I can remember. It was not needed for the fuselage. With the A320, I have terrible shimmering on fuselage, wing-lines and texts. I can convert the fuselage, tail and wings. That works fine. But if I convert the file with texts (which is usually in the .Texture folder of the aircraft itself, file: cfm_engine_overlays.dds), the text stays blurry, eve…

After years of setting up new aircraft views, I spent some time setting up the right view point with Chaseplane for this amazing aircraft. As normal the view is wrong or perhaps a compromise is the best term, it's set that way to give a good view of the VC that works well for most people. I use a zoom level of .80 (wideview) as much as i would like to use 1.00 its just to restrictive for me. But here is how to get the view spot on. Please also note to use this you will need TrackIR or Chaseplane/Ezdoc.(I use TrackIR+Chaseplane) If you look closely at this you will see 3 balls, 2 White and one Red. I'm looking for the best way to edit AFCADs with the sole purpose of opening and closing runways for takeoff or landings. For example, I have the FlyTampa Vienna and want open runway 29 for takeoff (that doesn't seem to exist in the AFCAD that came with the airport). I know a few 3rd party ATC programs have little utilities to do this. Anything outside of these programs?

Hey there, Ok I am getting a little frustrated searching for this issue. I am probably not using the correct keywords, but I can't find anything, not even during a screenshot search. I am slowly reinstalling my P3D with it's Add-Ons. I just recently reinstalled a few FsDreamteam airports, when I came accross this issue I have noticed in FSX, but haven't in P3D since using it and it really is annoying. I am posting screenshots of FsDreamteam KJFK and FlyTampa CYYZ, but have seen this on other airports like FsDreamteam KLAX and FlyTampa YSSY. Just switched to P3D V3 and one of the jetways at taxi2gate KSEA is on the laying on the ground . Also I have ORBX base,vector and PNW installed and unless I manually move taxi2gate KSEA up to the top of my scenery library the default terminal is on top of the new one and the default jetways mix with taxi2gates. This is all after running the ORBX vector configuration tool.

Hi All, The FSL A320 is a blast to fly, and learning its extensive systems has been great. After their most recent update, I have not been having OOM errors, and things have been rather smooth. I have a beautiful PC built by Jetline Systems, which is able to run any aircraft smoothly, including the FSLA320. My issue, which i've never had before is extended frames or long stutters with the FSL A320. Normal panning around has been smooth, however it does stutter ever so often. Have any of you found a potential fix for these symptoms? (i.e. changing frame rate from unlimited to fixed). Any input is appreciated. Cheers!

I bought FSlabs A320 a week ago, but it messed up my entire sim... it took me 4 hrs to delete and get my sim running again. Maybe it was not only caused by A320 but possibly by FS Spotlights that also was suggested to install, wich i did... Unfortunatly i did not make copies of the user manuals that seems to be reachable only after installing binaries file. At this point i am scanning the forums and posts and will wait until i am very convinced that the latest version is working for 100%. In the mean time i want to study the manuals...but that seems to be a problem. FSLabs is not sending copies, not even PM to customers. Posting seems to be not allowed due to copyrigh…

I have ORBX global and vector and open LC NA on the latest P3D. I have some FSDT, Latin VFR and FlyTampa airports, but no ORBX individual airports or regions. I am afraid that I have gotten the scenery database heirarchy out of kilter and I can't quite understand what FTX Central 3 is saying about this. Would someone post a screenshot of their scenery database so I can see the proper heirarchy? Thanks, Jeff Callender

I am m in the process of downloading and installing the southwest bundle of MSE. I installed Nevada and Arizona without a problem. However when trying to install New Mexico, it doesn't give the option to install Into P3D v3. It just gives the option for v2 and it isn't clickable. Anyone know why this is happening? I tried reaching out to them a few times for support with no response.

It must be for the Airbus A320 I am a member of BAV perfect for the sort hops around the UK and Europe with IAE engines. Am also a member of Ezy Jet again perfect but users CFM. So Europe and the UK are covered. I have all flight beams airports and FSDT etc for the USA and would love a A320 airline to be able to fly over there. So what do you recommend please? Thanks.

Hey guys can anyone advise me on this issues I have orbx aus global vecotor and a few other airports addons etc And have noticed square tiles popping and bleeding when i rearrange scenery library order myself with aiports at the top and irder lc and libraries etc in correcr order. But when i open ftx central and it rearranges library order from orbx at top and rest to follow below Is this ok? Can i leave it as is as central ordered it? Any advise is appreciated Thanks Mike

Im not certain what occurred, but after installing Windows 10 Pro, Prepar3d has been having issues loading properly. I have it setup in triple screens with view groups. As I launch the executable, it begins loading and bypasses the scenario selection screen going right into the default flight in the fighter jet. The left of my three screen is blank and the mouse will not work in the other two screens. So basically my question is. Can I do reinstall P3D without having to uninstall it first?

After reading the "umpteen" threads on micro-stutters, I wanted to see if I could improve on my own. I just discovered my three 27" have the capability to run at 30Hz. so I have been testing the 30/30 scenario (30FPS at 30Hz), and I must say it is about as smooth as I think I can get P3D at this time with my set up. Question is do you guys who run it at 30, do you revert back to 60Hz when you are done flying? Any residual effects that you have noticed running your displays at 30Hz 24/7? Clutch

I recently uninstalled P3Dv3.1 and have successfully installed P3Dv3.4. I am in the process of installing Henrik Nielsen's AI Ships. I am following the prescribed order to AVSIM library files. My question regards the "Fix for Ship Wakes for P3Dv2.5". Since I have v3.4, do I need to install this fix? My gut feeling says yes, but I would like to get a response from someone who knows for sure. Thank You in advance.

Hey guys, So i posted the other day about either buying a new GPU or CPU, current specs are I5 4670K, GTX 770, 8GB Ram. After thinking ive decided to bite the pullet and destroy my credit card. Anything else i should do ??

Does anyone know whether it is possible in P3D (either natively or through a 3rd-party application) to overlay flight path data onto IFR charts such as approach plates and enroute charts? I haven't been able to figure it out, and it would be a very useful post-flight debriefing tool.

Hello, since I purchased the A2A Cessna 172 for P3D last year, I would start flying with it. So I decided to install P3D 2.5. However, I cannot use it. I immediately get a fatal error. Event Viewer doesn't specify the error. Do you have any idea, why it doesn't work? How can I find out what's going wrong?

On some YT videos i see nice plug ins for landing rate info. Where i can find those ?

Is anyone else using FS Global Real Weather with Prepared and if so how does it compare to Active Sky.
