Using the tutorial I have tried landing at KSFO flying the beautiful new Queen and every time I end up at the end of the runway and P3D resets and I am left hanging about 50 feet in the air. I even saved the flight at TD and flew from there but the same thing happens. I have uploaded some pics to Photobucket. Hi guys, Never had to worry about it before fslabs a320. It looks as if cpu usage is from 30% to 70% but most load is on core 0 which iam guessing that once its 100% load its causing the fps jumps. Any idea how to move to load from core 0 to the other cores ? i got 6 physical cores. HT is off. i dont have any AM entry, never had as it was working good.

I haven't run the sim since just before Xmas. Last week I got back to it and installed EZCA v2. When I opened the sim I got a black screen. I realized that it is running - in the background. When you select P3D you get a black screen, EZCA show that is trying to connect with simconnect. I decided to do a complete re-install this week, using the recommended complete P3D download. Installed my addons one by one. Installed EZCA v2 again this morning. Working good. Added the Q400 and the Aerosoft A320/A321. OK. Added Multicrew experience, OK for one time. Then the problem reappeared again. I read somewhere in the P3D forums that this may be due to a corrupt dll.xml file. I …

Been getting OOMs and overall low VAS recently. Strangely enough, I'm getting better frames.The same settings I was using in 3.3 are causing OOMs now. I can't fly the QOS II out of EWR at night as I will get an OOM by the time I hit the runway... I've even tried the shadow cache off to save VAS as well as AlwaysFullLoad=1. Also, I just applied the latest P3D client 19868. Small Rivers and Streams off (Used to be able to keep them on). Beaches, Golf courses, Parks and power lines still checked. I'm hoping someone can help me with this. For some reason, and it is clealry finger trouble on my part, I do not have any of my default P3D sky, cloud or water textures. I seem to remember not doing a proper backup when I installed REX. The bottom line is, somewhere along the line I think I backed up my already installed REX textures :mad: The reason I think this is when I perform a reinstall of textures prior to installing REX, in the REX control panel, exactly the same textures appear. The problem was not an issue in FSX as I loved REX textures, but now I am with P3D V3, I can't stand the water textures, they look awful. So I really want to get my P3D textures back. Is…

Hi, First of all the blurry ground textures are caused by "Affinitymask" entry in my P3D.cfg. [JOBSCHEDULER] AffinityMask=254 I am using this entry for my FX-8350 CPU. This CPU is really weak for this game with affinity mask I gain at least 5 fps. So I can play the game with 30 fps smoothly but as I said blurry ground textures occur. Is there a way to solve this problem without deleting Affinitymask entry in P3D.cfg ?

Hello guys My pc is decent and has been capable to run major addons on P3D but for some reason todays around ORBX KJAC on the FSlabs I got the Vas alert multiple times until the sim crashed. After reviewing several other posts on P3D hang and CTD issues and looking at my DLL.XML file, I have a dumb question. I only have FTX Global Base and Vector installed, along with ORBX Libraries, but I have no object flow module in my DLL.XML file. Shouldn't there be one? I went there to see if it was disabled and realized it's not even there. I have not yet installed any regions or airports (rebuilding after a fresh Windows install). Thanks! Troy

Night is dark, landing lights barely visible. I have tried everything, and went through the steps of deleting shaders folder and letting sim rebuild it through repair (both shaders in P3D folder and APP data) and it is still too dark. I used PTA before and have a weird feeling that for some reason the shaders planted themselves in some corner and dont want to leave. After rebuilding shaders and setting PTA to all off, the night did lighten up but the landing lights are barely visible. I could not find anywhere on the internet default files for halo.bmp and spotlight.bmp so if anyone can provide theirs I will be thankful.

I finally got AS16 but still contemplating on ASCA, any Thoughts? What settings will i use on AS16 or will i just use the same settings as ASN Cheers

This morning everything was fine, I made some adjustments for the new PMDG 747 and I've been able to start up P3D multiple times after that. But from one moment to the next, the P3D splash screen came up and disappeared and P3D doesnt come back up. At first I got the error message "simconnect does not answer more than 50 seconds etc", from which I found it has something to with EZDok. So I tried several ways to fix it, that I found on the EZDok and P3D forums, but nothing worked. So I just removed EZDok from my computer. I even checked my computer if anything EZDok-related might have been left, but every folder has been removed. Now if I start up P3D, the splash screen…

I am wondering if it is okay to untucked boxes that I don't you. For instance if I'm flying PNW can I untick my FSX global and airports I'm not currently using? I am trying to avoid OOM which so far I keep getting. I know FEX has to load all those sceneries even if I'm not flying them which uses extra VAS.

Just purchased flightcontrol replay hoping to get better recordings of my pmdg aircraft however when I click onto options the program crashes. I emailed the developer however his only recommendation is to run program as admin which I l already have done. I also have net framework 4.6 installed as required. Anybody have any ideas ? I have windows 10 and was hoping this program would be an improvement to fs recorder which wouldn't record pmdg flaps, spoilers gear etc.

Hello to you all, I tried recently with a direct request to Robert R on the 2 monitors thread. to get some information regarding the docking screens (if any) of the PMDG products. I am not yet a PMDG customer and I realize the fact that RR is very busy with the new release which looks lovely by the way. However, I am hoping someone else has the expertise to help me out. I am operating FS9 with six screens, set up for the oppositions 737. I know P3D on my system cannot handle that number of screens, but I am looking to the future with an hardware update, hopefully in the near future, which will rectify that particular problem. I want to install orbx scenery in the steam version, but there is no way to do it during the installation. Has anyone here dealt with this problem? Thanks for reading my post. :smile:

I've witnessed this since the dawn of FSX SP2 maybe I don't recall and it permits in P3D. System specs in short: [email protected], 32Gb DDR-3@2400Mhz, GTX Titan original flavor at +60 on the core & memory clocks, fan set at whatever it takes to keep the core maxed, which at ambient here is around 65% of full speed using Inspector's overclocker. In the example below I will typically have LOD radius maxed, tessellation maxed, scenery complexity Very Dense i think it is, Autogen at maybe Dense, and veggies Normal. I'm still using 3.0 because it's perfect, that is until I bought the awesome Majestic Dash 8 Q400. It works fine in 3.0 except there is an issue that manifests as whenever I change views HDR disappears until I reload the currently selected view a 2nd time at which point HDR returns. This was fixed by Majestic, however only for users who have P3D 3.3 or later. As someone loath to create problems that have to be fixed, I've resisted upgrading P3D as truly this is the only problem I'm having w/ 3.0. But it's an annoyance, the HDR issue, because I'm flying the Dash 8 a lot currently so might be willing to upgrade...kicking and screaming! So, what problems am I likely to exp…

Orbx opened their new shop today and it comes with a new version of FTX Central. Pro's: it kinda works like Steam. One login and you can download and install all your purchases without having to validate them one by one. Updates will be downloaded automatically whenever they are there and they will always be as small as possible, so no need to for instance redownload the entire libs everytime: only the files that are being updates will be downloaded. And when you reinstall your PC you will always install the latest versions of everything. New purchases are also done using the same Central. Hi all, I have just downloded the new 747 Queen of the Skies, I noticed that you need a minimum of P3DV3.3 to run the new 'Queen'. I have all the Orbx sceneries etc plus UK2000 airports...its been a while since I did a P3D update and I just wanted to double check before I proceeded... I do not want to do a full reinstall, just an update from P3DV3.2 to latest P3DV3.4... do I just update my client.msi? or can I update the content.msi as well without screwing up my existing sceneries / setup?

I visited Avsim nice and early this morning and there were two new posts regarding the Latest Hotfix for P3d,I was unable to read due to the dog standing there with it.s lead in it,s mouth!the bloody dog thinks it owns the place,we needed to go for a walk,then feed Fido and my breakfast and finally I can now sit down to properly read the posts on the P3d Hotfix,and they are no where to be found,please was i dreaming? am I going crackers ? or have they been moved?please where can they be found? Hi all! I'm using Fsx for years and it's running very smooth with almost all sliders to max and all shadows and bloom selected. Recently I made the switch to P3D v3 and I must say... Wow what a difference. Beautiful lighting and shadows. I really like it but I have 1 big problem... The frames are jumping all over the place. It's jumping from 100 to 17 to 30 etc... Especially when I look around it stutters like crazy and above big citys like Amsterdam it's total drama. I've tried to lock the frames at 30 or 60 but no luck.
