I am thinking of upgrading my CH Throttle quadrant to the PFC Throttle Console and attachments. I have a PFC CIRRUS SAAB yoke will hall sensors that is perfect. Any recommendations or thoughts would be appreciated. Greg

Hi ALl I jsut got myself a new graphics card, so I'm installing everything again, clean slate etc A question, I went through robs vector settings,a nd he turned off wetlands. But what are they Precisely.. visual wise?. What will I miss without them? For example in the netherlands? vkr victor

I used to make videos with Nvidia shadow play. The latest driver version 378.66 has eliminated shadow play for a new setup that includes streaming. I don't use streaming but make videos for my own use. The resolution is OK in FSX but looks terrible in P3D. I wonder if anyone can help me with the settings for P3D. The new PMDG 747-400 V3 looks stunning in P3D V3 but the recordings are not up to snuff. Any help appreciated Ron Service

Goodmorning everybody! I switched to P3D for good now. It runs fairly smooth now. I lowered some settings and with the standard planes I get 40-60 fps. But now the stutters are coming back :( I'm using unlimited fps with vsync and triple buffering now. I've read that an external frame limiter can help, but those posts are from 2012/2013... What do you guys recommend? Radeonpro or something else? Maybe some tips for some extra smoothness? 30fps is all I need... Thanks!

With some recent minor changes, ones known that I hadn't tried before because performance was quite decent already, but wow, unreal now. I'm telling you there isn't the slightest hint of a stutter, micro stutter or what have you. That is with the PMDG 777 in Nor Cal & So Cal FTX scenery, at major terminals. I'm shocked truly, and this is a 5 y/o system, albeit strong for its day. So really at this point the only thing that dampens perfection in video smoothness is when there are lots of clouds AND moderate levels of terrain/cloud shadowing. Hello, I've posted my questions on the Flight 1 support forum but have had no reply. If you'll forgive me I'll post my issue here in hopes someone can shed some light on what's going on. Latest version of the Flight 1 King Air B200 installed and reinstalled using exact instruction from their website. Dialed down all P3D settings. Disabled Addon scenery No weather (AS16) Desolate area. GPS decluttered and zoomed out. Inset GPS decluttered and turned off. I get solid 30 FPS outside the aircraft (FPS locked at 30.) Inside the aircraft, once I turn on the Battery Master the FPS drops to about 9. It generally remains around 9, and sometimes will move up to 15 for …

So this is a weird one as Im not normally one to get OOM errors in a very long time although I understand it can happen. I was just doing a short flight in the NGX from KBOS to KSYR and received an OOM about the half way point. I don't even remember the last time I saw an OOM in P3D so this was quite odd. The only thing different this flight is I didnt close down EFASS as I normally do. I normally close down anything non essential to the flight for me. The only external addons were P2A v2.0.0.4 and AS16 + ASCA. Just wondering if those who use or are familiar with EFASS think its possible that maybe that caused it?

Hi there, ezdock version 1.18 is very choppy and not smooth in p3d 3.4. Choppy meaning it is lagging behind while the game itself is moving at 50 fps. ASN has no affect with it sand I've tried anti virus off. It only gets smooth at 60 fps and above, anything under it chops and lags. Should I upgrade to V2? Anybody know how to fix? Dillon L

Hi there. Recently I have experienced lag in p3d. Why, I do not know. But this all started happening after I recent my PC. I kept everything the same and it is not moving like it used to. I'm only getting 26-40 fps in the PMDG where before I got easy 60 fps no matter where I was. Now, EZdock is choppy, it's not fluid it's not complete stutters but it is noticeable lag. Hey, i can't figure out how to solve this problem. I have EZdok installed into P3D v3, it all works fine, i can set up camera views etc. But when i try to pan the view with my Hat switch on my Saitek Yoke, the camera just gets stuck and stutters in place. I can only pan the view with middle mouse button. When i disable EZdok, everything is fine. Disabeling middle mouse button didn't work.

It appears in the p3d add ons menu but the control menu with ctl f12 does not appear on sceeen. Thoughts? Cheers.

I did a night flight to London Heathrow and the runway lights didn't appear until I was about 1/2 mile from the threshold. Has anyone experienced this and is there a solution to fix it? I use OpenLC EU and Vector and am wondering if Vector might interfere with the normal appearance of third party runway and airport lights. I use UTX with OpenLC NA in the US and don't recall encountering this issue, which is why I ask. Todd

Hello I’ve been a bit curious to where I should post this because I am not a 100% sure if it is the 747, P3D, my hardware or something fourth that is causing it. So i've decided to try and start here. I’m seeing this consistent frame drop when flying long hauls. After about 4-5 hours into the flight the FPS suddenly drop to around 20-25ish in the VC, the drop also appears in the external view and takes it down by approximately the same %. Over the course of writing this post my FPS have dropped from around 20-25ish to a steady 17ish and I suspect it will keep going down. My usual FPS is around 40-45 in the cruise in the 747 V3, with about 35ish on the ground at Ae…

Have been flying around the new FTX N Germany region landing at various VFR airports. Just to note that many of the region default airports are quite good. EDLI Bielefeld for example, Just landed there and it is close to the quality of a dedicated payware airport. I checked the airport with Google Earth views of the area, and it is an accurate representation - including the trees obscuring the approach to RWY 11. Anyone else flying the region discovered interesting default airports?

Hi guys, first off thanks for any help anyone can offer me in this problem I am having. I am in the process of converting our flight sim programs from fsx to P3D. In the past we have used Eric Cagan's version of KGCC airport for our scenery of our home airport to keep it more real for training pilots. Now when we try to load our scenery as an add on in P3D we cant see any of our buildings. Runways, taxiways and everything else look fine but alas no buildings to be seen. I have contacted Eric about finding a way to fix it, but he is not familar with P3D and in fact originally created the scenery for FS9.
