After experiencing severe VAS issues after I upgraded to P3Dv3.4 I went back to P3Dv3.3 and although it did improve the VAS situation considerably using the same settings and add-ons I'm still a bit on the edge in some situations. What I find strange is I didn't see the same issue a couple of months ago using the exact same setup and settings. The only thing I can think of that changed is the textures in P3D and many of my add-on airports now show fall textures rather than summer textures (doing 100% of my flying in Europe) so maybe fall texture consume more VAS than summer textures? I have just finished installing the latest Hot Fixes for P3d ver 3.4x without a full re-install and everything seemed to go well. But, I have some new bugs that have me baffled ... 1) I have developed the 50% "FPS drop" disease caused when Un-docking panels and placing them on another monitor and nobody else seems to have this problem ... as I can't find the reason I'll try Nvidia to see if they have a fix ... it's something new! 2) A strange pair of Icons now inhabit my screen on startup and flight and I don't think it's any of my add-ons but before I resort to a full P3d re-install I thought someone might have a simpler suggestion. I have P3D running better than ever now except for some odd reason road traffic is very jittery. Any ideas why that would be, or what might fix it? The weird part is I can have perfectly smooth video in all other motion in P3D including all airport ground and air traffic, even GSX, and yet road traffic is about the worst it's ever been. I'm running latest nVidia driver, unlimited frames with monitor set at 30mHz, AM 340 on a 6 core SB-E at 4.42Ghz. Something is different about car traffic and wonder if there is a variable one can tweak in a .cfg file that might impact this. If I put the monitor back to 60mHz it improves the car traffic a little for sure, but just a …

Hi all, I just got my new P3d and I am in the process of slowly installing my add-ons. I am trying to get the CLS A330/A340 to work in P3d,but in my VC the windows are block solid grey. I have patch 2,3 and 4, and I read that patch 4 was suppose to fix the problem, but it did not. The same aircraft is fine in FSX, but not in P3D. Only the VC, the 2D is fine too. I read also that it is to do with the alpha channel, but I don't know anything on the this stuff. Any idea or help would be much appreciated. Thanks

Good evening everyone I just got a new computer the specs are : 16GB of ram and AMD R9 380 And an AMD FX 8320 I Get about 12+16 fps with the pmdg 737 in default scenery I've seen some streamers with the same specs and like 87-90 fps while recording ! How's is this possible ! Please help me !

Okay experts, This has me TOTALLY scratching my head and I am unable to resolve it with anything that i have done or tried. For some unexplained reason, my keyboard commands and joystick inputs have decided to have a mind of their own. What is even better is that when I try and change a control in the Options>Settings>Controls menu -- Buttons and Keys Tab -- and take a control that I want to assign a keyboard command or modify a joystick setting, I am unable to do so. I bought this scenery and am having an issue. After installation and after I load the sim and pick LGA, when the airport loads, I have huge towering "glacier like" blocks all over the place. I've had this with some other airports from Flightbeam and I was able to disable it in FTX Vector settings. However, LGA wasn't in the settings to choose. Any ideas?

Up front I'm fully aware of what contributes to VAS usage in P3D v3. and for all the planes I fly regularly with all the addons, VAS has never been an issue. However today something strange has manifested, I launched P3D and loaded a plane at airport, I've done nothing in the sim, my VAT usage started at 2.38 where I would have expected it to be but it continued to climb until out of memory about 20 mins later and I have done nothing in the sim but watch. Has anyone any idea whats going on? The only thing that has changed from one day to the next in the sim, was an auto upgrade from ORBX FTX Global Vectors and auto upgrade Chase Plane. Recently purchased some scenery in the recent sale, installed via Central V3 but I have some floating scenery objects - planes and ground equipment at LDDU. Any ideas what is/could be causing this? Many thanks

Hi all, I have an issue with my config after reinstalling completely my computer and re-installed all ORBX products I have (FTX Global, Vector, Open LC europe North america, tree HD, and multiple all region and airport) But when I take off from an airport, the texture is great but it seems that the computer is not loading the texture then... would you have any idea? I already tried to change all the scenery settings, start FTX Vector app to reorderer the scenery library, graphic setting, reinstall driver... Does anyone already experienced this? Hello all, I have taxi2gate KSEA installed and everywhere water is supposed to be is trees and grass. I have ORBX base,vector and pnw. I have ran the vector auto configuration tool and I have all the patches installed. Any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks

Guys I'm currently speaking to Nick on orbx support but thought there might be someone out there that already knows the answer to this? I have a brand new copy of FSX-SE no previous versions of FSX etc. As soon as it finished downloaded I went and downloaded orbx global orbx vector orbx library's orbx Europe orbx england I did this through FTX centralv3. Once those downloads where done and installed I loaded the sim. Here's the problem. The sim loads its default scenery. I have been running P3D with several add-ons for quite some time all on one pretty powerful PC running a Windows 10 Pro 64 bit operating system. I am now interested in exploring networking in a second PC I have to off load things like AS16, ASCA, ProATC, MT6 and perhaps more. I have never setup a client PC system but am sure I can figure it out but here's my question/issue. The second PC I would prefer to network in as a client PC is running a Windows 10 Pro 32 bit operating system. I was wondering if this would be an issue since the server would be 64 bit OS and the client a 32 bit OS. Also will I be able to re-install my software like AS16 and other packages…

<frustration mode on>I am flying from YBBN to PHNL on a second attempt and watching memory go from 1.5 gigs down to 443,052 (five hours into the flight). This is with CLS 747-200. I updated my nvidia driver to 378.66 thinking that was going to solve it. It's gotta be this aircraft. ARGH. </frustration mode off>.

Hi, I recently purchased the PMDG 747 v3, however when i load into the sim, half (or more) click-spots aren't there, meaning that i can't use the fmc, for example because the buttons aren't physically clickable. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Hubert

Hello dear forum members, recently i've noticed a weird thing in my P3D, which may have been before, but i didn't see that. So, the problem is about night flying. When flying at night time, there are lots of lights, traffic, scenery, etc.., and, when I look at these lights straight, I don't see them until i come about 6-9 miles to them. BUT, when I look at them with my "side vision", those lights are nice a clear. Here's a pic of this thing happening. Hope for your help. Thank you

Hey guys, So I purchased As16 and ASCA a while back, but always went back to REX 4 for clouds etc. Something clicked today and I went and purchased Envtex as I have seen a lot of people talking about it. Just wondering if someone is able to give me bit of guide to set it all up. And also what is the best PTA preset to be using, I love the dark cockpits but also the really blue days. Is someone able to share some of there photos, or maybe point me in the right direction! Cheers
