For years I have been flying the PMDG 737/777 and RA T Duke. With these they either have their own navaids or in the case of the Duke just uses the default Garmin and one can bring up navaid data thru that interface. I'm now flying the Majestic Dash 8 and there appears to be no way to access the default navaid data within P3D. Since I don't even know how to read charts and don't particularly care to learn, I just need the ILS frequencies that are within P3D. Right now my only way to access an ILS for an arrival runway I open the archaic moving map which you can no longer scroll right/left in, and use zoom and try to find the arrival airport. Hi! I was just thinking about the new FS Global Ultimate Mesh and read something about the Aerodrom Flattening Meshes V2 (AFM2). The descripton says it will also consider FTX Vector AEC airports, but I would like to know what it does exactly? Anybody out there owning the product and can tell what AFM2 is doing in detail? Marc

Hello all, someone mentioned a few days ago about finding that sweet spot to get P3D running just the way you like it. After upgrading to a high performance machine in early January, I struggled with multiple OOMS. Sifting through the avsim forums, adjusting P3D settings and downgrading my nvidia driver, as well as assuring audio drivers were up to date, I had found the proverbial sweet spot. Then came Rex. I have all my add ons on a separate drive (Proatcx, Realair, PFPX etc). All under a folder named P3D Addons. Yesterday, I installed Rex HD Airports and pointed to this same folder. I assumed (bad move) that Rex would install to its own separate folder under th…

Hi all, I've searched in vain for answer to why when I start P3Dv3.1 the top menu bar is missing. I made sure I was in Windowed mode (Alt + Enter) and even right clicking on the screen show nothing. Hi I have come across a strange problem. Since reloading win 10, p3d will not load any other aircraft apart from the f22. I have tried everything and have now resorted to a vanilla install but with no success, somebody please help. p3d 3.4.22.189868

I run AS16 and ASCA on a client PC (soon will add Pro-ATC X) and was wondering if the traffic optimizer add-on I run on my main flight sim PC could be moved to my client PC. If this is possible does anyone have instructions on how to accomplish it? Thanks in advance Joe

Hello! I recently just got P3D v3.x and was loving it and even got my Ezdok and Aerosoft installed and had done my first successful flight for BAV on it until...... My SSD decided to bomb out which was running my Windows 10 installation. I replaced it with a new Samsung 850. My P3D was installed on my "D" drive which is fine, the installation files are all still there. What do I do now? I just want to "reinstall" P3D onto my new Windows installation. Any ideas please? John V. has stated that when P3D v4.x comes out of the gate, new port over installers will have an upcharge fee attached to them, and passed onto the Consumer. That's business. The question on my mind...with that being...will virtual 'supply and demand' kick in with any store offerings for the v3.x platform...being that some people will be resitive to being asked to drop the coin for a port-over installer of their current scenery, going from v3, to v4. So they might stick with v3.x So...could a store start bumping up the asking price, to download a scenery for v3.x? Hey guys, So got my new 4K monitor as discussed in a new thread! I've found the loss of FPS is big but what I've learnt it's to be expected with the more pixels etc! My problem is even tho the FPS isn't the best it still seems smooth and not many stutters, but I'm having a problem with blurries? I've turned down the settings to maybe medium ish. Is there any tweaks I can use ? I've seen a lot of threads about 6700K affinity mask but not really sure ? Any suggestions

I want to get back and do some GA flying and had a few questions to ask the community: 1) In eal life do GA pilots (VFR) just get up in the air and fly with no specific flight plan in mind and just fly to sight see freelyand casually or do they have to plan it first? I'm assuming with VFR you have more flexibility and freedom to fly wherever you want and with IFR in GA you should create a flight plan first if I'm not mistaken. 2) How does one properly create a flight plan for VFR/IFR flying in a GA aircraft such as Cessna 172/182, RealAir Legacy. Can you use PFPX? If so do you guys manually create the route yourself, or let PFPX create the route for you? I'm assum…

Hi, I have the problem shown in the attached screenshot: this is what happens when looking at a docked jetway from inside the VC (737 NGX), with clipmode=normal in cameras.cfg. The near clip plane is quite far from the fuselage and clips the jetway... If I change into clipmode=minimum, the jetway is not clipped but many objects in P3D shimmer/flicker (including runways surface)... Anyone knows a way to have the near clip plan closer (so that jetways and stairs are not cut) and, at the same time, objects not flickering? I've tried connecting this app to P3D but so far no luck. It does say FSX all over the place but I thought I'd try to get the exe installed on the computer to recognize P3D, it did right away. It displays connected and shows the coordinates for my aircraft. The app on the phone, however, does not connect to the computer. There are very few settings, but the last under Options is to "enable FSX Sim GPS". At any rate it doesn't connect to the computer and the option turns itself off. Any one get this to work?

Not really sure where to post this but as I use P3d mostly i'll try here While this is not a major problem ,I'm sure reducing the proccesses running in the background would at least give me a bit more memory for programs I want to use with my sims. Currently my average number of proccesses running is 92 which is taking up about 25% of my physical memory.So depending what I plan on running I will go in and shut a few down Are there any programs out there that can do this for me or at least remember what i shut down . Hey guys, It is unreal on how much default P3D3.4 is crashing with Nvidia Drivers 376.33 I know there is a huge thread on prepar3d.com about this but anyone of you guys/gals seeing this I just did a clean latest windows 10 pro build with nvidia drivers 376.33 and just installed pmdg 777 with full unlocked RAAS, FSUIPC 4.962, latest AS16+ASCA and MyTraffic 6a Same settings like I had with 3.3.5. Hi, I have Orbx Base and Vector installed on P3D. I also have a ton of add-on sceneries. Everything is working perfectly except for FlyTampa's EHAM, I've gone through many forums and ran and re-ran the Elevation Correction Tool. Does anyone on here have a solution for this?
