Decided to test Norton Antivirus (30 day trial). After running full system scan, EZdok doesn't load up when starting P3D (3.4). EZCA is still said to be a "launch add-on" in the exe.xml file, so I dont know how Norton has deactivated it. Tried uninstalling Norton, but EZdok still does not load up. Any suggestions?

I have a weird texture problem. When ever I fly to some airports (Sheremetyevo DD, FSS CYYC and some others) and when I am on approach everything looks fine, airport looks good.....but as I get closer specifically about 800-500ft the ground textures start flickering and slowly disappearing. As I get closer and lower, more and more textures disappear and upon landing at the airport some ground textures look ripped, some are missing. Any ideas what could be causing this, I did try disabling all my addon meshes but with no luck. Reinstalling scenery did not help. Just a note, the building textures look fine, only ground textures behave like that.

Hello everybody, I just tried to install an airport (Varadero MUVR) in P3D. Luckily I could point to the P3D root folder but it didn't show up in de scenery. Then I added it manually with Add scenery... There are two maps inside MUVR: Scenery and Texture. I just added MUVR with both folders. But it didn't work. Only the ground textures are visible but the airport itself is nowhere to be seen... Any tips?? Thanks

I saw people talk about it, explain it, define it, and I've seen people maxing it out. What I've yet to see someone show exactly what it does in game. I always knew what it was as many games use it now a days.. I keep reading post about guys using another pc to run some flight sim programs and have some questions: - Why? - What type of pc is needed for the second one? Can I just buy a 5 year old gamer or even standard pc off Craig's List to use. - Does it need the same operating program as your main pc (win 10 or?) or can you use an older one such as win 7 or even xp on the 2nd one ? - How to you hook this all up?(I am not network literate - or is there a Networking for Dummies book?) - How many fps will I gain if this happens? - Is it really worth the expense and trouble?

In FSX I just used real world weather. Although it wasn't always accurate. It did the job for me. Now I'm looking for a free weather engine for P3D. I see al lot of them... I hope you can advise me what is the best one at the moment? Thanks!

I am going to guess a few of you might have this patch? I bought it over the weekend and have some issues. Firstly, FPS. Its dropped from 35 min average of 40 ish to more like 10 min average of 20. Is there anything I can do about that? Second problem is crashing / freezing. P3D has never crashed on me since I owned it. I have a bespoke rig for flight sim and VR and there is nothing else installed. It runs perfect. P3D hung on me 3 or 4 times over the weekend, always when I was visual with Manchester. Away from Manchester its fine. Just after any advice if someone knows what the problem is! Thanks!

What is the best way to treat P3D when reinstalling windows 10? I do have P3D on a separate drive (D) and opt system on another (C). Last time I had to reinstall the whole P3D software again even though I had it all on D drive.

Hi, To those who might not know this already, the Tokyo city area is extremely FPS intesnive (I get half the amount of fps i get everywhere else). Recently I found a guide on how to tweak for better performance around the Tokyo area: http://fsx.o.oo7.jp/ (You can find the actual post under the Prepar3d Professional logo I can't physically link it :/ ) However the instructions aren't the best and I have difficulty understanding what to do. Hi guys, I've always had both P3D and X-Plane, but mostly prefer P3D because of the PMDG products. However, one thing that I've noticed over time is that the wing flex in X-Plane looks very realistic compared to P3D (a smooth "wobble", so to speak, whereas in P3D it's a slower/more clunky animation). Is this just a limitation of P3D, or has someone figured out a way to smooth it out a bit and have it animate more realistically? For reference, here's a comparison: P3d: X-plane: Regards,

Hi all, I've tried to install the qualitywings 757 v1.3 in p3d by copying and pasting all the files of the 757 from fsx to my p3d folder. But I when I load up the airplane everything works except for the fmc and the screens (they're all black). Does someone knows a solution for this? Thanks in advance!

I have attached a picture of the problem I am suddenly encountering. I get random ground tiles and autogen within airport boundaries. I have UTX but have never had this problem before. I recently installed ORBX libraries and a couple of their demo areas. I used their FTX Central program to install and have since used it to uninstall the areas. I have kept the libraries. I was thinking maybe there was some kind of conflict with those but that does not seem to be the problem, nor should it have been. I also disabled UTX in my libraries, and had the same problem. I can uncheck everything that is not default in my scenery libraries and still have this issu…

Hi Folks, While every IFR flight gets RC4 - I used to enjoy VFR flights with the old default ATC... It seems to be something lately with ATC - - - continually - - - asking various AI Aircraft to expedite climb to such and such altitude... I need some relief - anyone else get this and is there a fix ? I'm using UT Traffic for the most part - probably a smattering of ORBX traffic files mixed in too... Thanks... Regards, Scott

I know this question has been asked many time before, but for me it is just not right for an application like p3D in this modern day has a jaggy shadow.Today I found out that in Avatar Mode, the shadow on the wing and engine is PERFECT! just when I switch back to normal mode the jaggy shadow appears again.I hope that LM can fix this or if this problem is already fixed, could you guys please help me out ? Can someone tell me if there are good payware for the following airports that work with P3dV3? I know some of these are out but I am not sure if they are working with V3. I thought I'd ask before buying. KDCA, KLGA, KEWR, KLAX, KLAS, KMCI, KMSP, KRSW, KIAH

Been wondering about this one for the past few days... I looked in LM's forum and it was hinted the add-on developers will have to update it to make it compatible with p3d v2. However, it's been wait too long since any ezdok news came up.. the developer seems reluctant to reply on the forums or talk to anyone. Seems like he won't even talk to his distributors. Very unpleasant business practice, not to mention the old joke which is ezdok v2. Thing is, there's the alternative which is Opus live camera.. unfortunately, I can't find a single video where this feature is showcased, including interior cams, exterior cams, comparison with ezdok.. absolutely nothing, but maybe I'm…

Hi, Recently I bought Just Sim EDDH-Hamburg and installed in under V3.35. I do have a 'layering issue' (Don't know proper expression for it) From cockpit and external views, the ground/taxi textures appear and disappear when changing view angle slightly. I checked if AS EDDH still was active but that isn't the case. Also I checked Orbx OpenLC airport elevation correction, but EDDH is not listed/available. Anyone a clue? Egbert P.S. I don't know which version of JS EDDH I have. I guess V1.0.

I haven't deleted anything from p3d so this message makes no sense Update I remembered I uninstalled flyinside. I reinstalled it and bam p3dv3 works again....problem is I don't want flyinside...

I do not have a major airport listed in this tool. I have run the tool automatically and also use the manual box to search for the airport. Is there any way I can add this airport to the search box?
