I have been considering the purchase of this product. I'm wondering how many people use it and is it worth the price. I have P3d v3.4 and the PMDG 737, 777 and the new 747. Plus others like the Real Air Turbo and Carenado aircraft. I went to the FSI Panel site but didn't see any recent posts. I thought I might get a better idea from here. Thanks, To all who reply. Just searched this forum and could not find any info. ORBX has three aircraft for sale on their site. If anyone has any of these, I'd certainly appreciate any user comments. -George

Hello all, with all this worldwide flight activity the last few weeks, with the beautiful Queen, especially, does anyone know how to get a list of airports that can handle the heavies? I do most of my flying in NA and Europe and would love to generate random flights knowing in advance that the airports can accommodate the big guys.

Hi, I have installed an airport scenery to my P3D and now I have both the add-on scenery and the default airport scenery on top of each other at the same location. Do I need to remove the default scenery? and if so how? Any help would be really appreciated!! Thanks Josh

I bought a 250GB SSD for P3D a little over a year ago. I thought this was plenty at the time, but I was wrong and really should have gotten a 500GB drive. I'm not out of space, but am down in the 20ish percent left. Both for future growth and with the aim of keeping some open space on the SSD disk for performance, I am looking at a new SSD (at least 500GB). I've found other posts discussing moving the installation on HDD's that have discussed either having to do a full reinstall or using symbolic drive links. I have a slightly different question though. Hey guys, somewhere between installing Milviz F100D, chase plane and FSUIPC, my P3D UI creates a problem. Whenever I try to load a scenario, it asks me if I want to exit P3D. If I click yes, it tries to exit and I get a CTD. If I click No, the current default scenario loads and the UI menu is still active. I'm fairly certain chase plane has nothing to do with this, as it wasn't configured or running yet. Uninstalling the FSUIPC.dll yielded no positive results. deleting the dll.xml and p3d.cfg neither. Can anyone help me?

Hello, I know this topic has been discussed before, but I have tried many of the tips I found and non of the helped. I am very bothered With blurry textures. They are fine during Takeoff at the departing airport, but furthermore on Climb, cruise and desent I experience this issue. My settings are specefied below on the photos. Could anyone please help me? I just took delivery of my new Jetline Sim computer - It was fully loaded with addons airports and GSX. I was at JFK and running GSX. GSX was doing fine, but it was taking too long to load my 747. So I hit "DISABLE ADDON" thinking it would terminate GSX, well it complexly removed it from my menus. Also gone is all the addon scenery. What now?

Hi guys, I have AA set to max in P3D, and the edges of the aircraft are smooth, as you would expect. However, solid colours within the livery of the aircraft are extremely jagged. As you can see around the edges of the tail, the lines are smooth between the edges of the tail and sky. However, looking at the main stripe down the fuselage, it's extremely jagged. Is this fixable? Hello All, Now this may well not be an ORBX issue at all but so far I cant find an answer to this issue. I am running ORBX England and have never experienced any problems - great scenery. However for the first time I have flown my Aerosoft A320 into EGGP RWY 27. All looked good on approach until it became clear that I was coming down about 20m to the right of the RWY. I flew it again this time on RWY09 only to come down 20m to the left of the RWY. If I start a flight from EGGP the aircraft loads perfectly on the centreline. I tried the same flight with the default C172 and again I came down 20m from the RWY. All my AIRACS are up to …

Hi all! I purchased REX Essentials Plus OD a few months ago for FSX. I upgraded to P3D yesterday, purchased the REX Access Rights for P3D (5 bucks), got charged on my card for it, but according to the program, I haven't bought it and can't activate it. I have the latest version and hit the restore button under Backup/Restore Configuration, but it still says, "P3D not activated." Is there anybody who knows anything about this or who I can contact at REX? Or better yet, is there anybody from REX here on the forums? It's really annoying, mainly because I got charged for something I apparently never bought. Thanks.

Hi, I'm struggling with FAIB ai models in P3D v2.5, none of them have logo and fuselage light at night. I have the L files you suppose to have in Prepar3D v2 texture folder. Someone that has more knowledge than me could be kindly enough to give me a hand? Did they ever work in prepared v2, as I'm new to this sim I really ignore this. Thanks a lot in advance. Sergio

Hi Just looking for a bit of advice on something regarding throttle configuration.Although I can manage fine with how I currently have it, its not totally realistic. Specifically it is mostly to do with the pmdg 747 and the fslabs A320 and FSUIPC. Initially I had no throttles set in the controls section of p3d and used everything through FSUIPC and all worked fine I have an x55 throttle and with the 747 I used throttle 1 to control eng 1+2 and throttle 2 for eng 3+4 all work flawlesley. I then bought the fslabs A320 and I had no end of trouble setting the throttles up as they were twitching and causeing a lot of grief.My solution was by removing the…

Hey guys, I have seen quite a few of them around, but not updated in a while so it's hard to find an accurate information. Hence my question - what would be the best freeware or payware standalone FMS around? Mind, I am talking about something like vasFMC that I can retrofit editing panel.cfg to any aircraft (CLS DC-10 for example). Being able to update it with Navigraph would be a huge plus. I know that GTN750 exists, but that's not what I am after. Thanks in advance for help!

Hello all, I'm having some issues with PFPX V1.27 & V1.28. I'm trying to do a plan flight in the PMDG 777-300ER from LSZH to KLAX. When I hit compute flight it comes up with an error saying "Fuel required exceeds maximum fuel on board (145,538kg) limited by Tank Capacity." I was just wondering if anybody knew where I am going wrong? I've looked through the PFPX forums but can't put my finger on it. Many thanks, Jonathan

Hello to you all, Today I installed the Iceland Demo and was really looking forward to see it in action. Unfortunately things aren't working out for me as they should be. First of all, BIKF (Keflavik Airport) is not displayed correctly. The runways and taxiways are cutting through the terrain. I did have an issue with this airport as well before installing the demo, the runway slightly disappeared under the terrain. Also, all the lights are floating. It seems like it's only this airport that's giving me problems. I tried Reykjavik Airport and there everything was fine. Secondly, I don't think the demo is actu…

Just wondering what the latest thinking is when using the dynamic ground friction LUA for FSUIPC when it comes to high end addons like PMDG747, A320X and A2A Commanche given that these developers do put on a lot of work (and possibly their own programming) into the sim to accurately simulate this effect. Is there a way to have FSUIPC not use the LUA in these cases, is it overridden by the addon? Just not sure what to do about it when using with other aircraft. thanks.

Now that MyTraffic 6 is out, I've been pestering Alan Constable for a dedicated installer for his fantastic AI sound addon... and he very kindly obliged by building us an updated installer (talk about great service ^_^ ): Here are the simplified instructions: - Install the main program into the X:\MyTraffic Professional\MyTraffic\Aircraft - Run the Alias installer and point it to MT directory - Tweak the audio levels to you liking. I am struggling with the approach LOWW- EDDF. I seem to pass the runway every time. i set the LOC below 10000 transition altitude. how do i capture the glideslope? i have re run the flight 2-3 times with same outcome. LUGIM DCT LNZ DCT SUBEN T161 ASPAT Can someone help me out.
