Hi JUst completed install of p3dv2.5 no hot fix yet. running [email protected] GTX Titan Soon as panel undocked to second screen FPS is halved, GPU utilisation also drops by about half, AND the fps reduces further for each new panel you undock and move to second screen. Never seen it this bad, I get a couple of fps drop normally when undocking panel to second screen, but not half drop any ideas cheers

I recently un-installed FSX and installed Prepar3d, ezdok and the NGX. I run 4 monitors, 3 using Nvidia spanning software for the VC and have the fourth monitor connected to a second video card. I am running a 970 and a 460 video cards. I use the forth monitor to move the ND/PFD and engine display to the fourth monitor in full screen mode. Worked great in FSX. Now, I have to un-dock the pop-up screens before I can move to the fourth screen. When I do, I lose 10 frames down to 10. So I have a couple of issues, using full screen mode and poor performance. At best, using the VC only, I get 20 frames. I have used the Nvidia inspector settings recommended for Prepar…

Hello, I have just changed to P3D from FSX after buying a new PC (Win 10, P3D only). I loaded the sim for the first time and moved to Friday Harbor ( bit of a habit I guess!) Everything was fine with a clean first test flight. I then installed Orbx Global Base, PNW ahd Friday Harbor addons. Loaded these and all was fine. I disabled Orbx Friday Harbor using Scenery Config Editor and suddenly my P3D Friday Harbor default scenery has serious terrain and elevation issues. Elevated grass scenery lies across the runway etc. see below Could anyone advise how what might have happened please, before I damage any more default scenery airports...…

Are there instructions on getting the F1 GTN750 (P3D Version) working in the RealAir Legacy V2 FSX version. It's no longer an option to buy the P3D version of the Legacy. (: Thanks jja

Hi all, I was clearing out some progframes from the control panel and I accidently uninstalled a programe called 'simconect.' I've tried re-installing it from FSDreamTeam and the P3D redist folder but when I check my programe list it only says "Microsoft Flight Simulator Simconnect Client Version (and three different versions.) As before it just said 'Simconnect' on the programme list. I'm unable to fly as my throttle on my joystick doesn't work as a result of uninstalling simconnect. Is there any way to get it back? I've already tried reseting my pc and reinstalling p3d but no luck there either. Thanks in advance, Aaron

Hello I have this problem. Everytime im approaching my final destinations, im ending in a complete stall. I should say that this happens whenever im using any of blackbox widebody aircrafts (latest update). This happens at about 1500-4000ft, typically after i established the ils. I dont know if there is a problem with the A/t or the approach phase. i hope you can help me, Thank you!

Hey all Shortly after installing Majestic Q400, I got this message (first about VTBD scenery, then about scenery in general) that "Default.fxml failed to load. This could be due to a malformed XML file." I'm no computer expert, and P3DV3.4 was running great up until now. I have numerous add-ons including ORBX Global, Base, 3rd party airports, GSX etc. I run Active Sky Next with Rex4 textures .... I have no idea what this message means but the scenario now starts at 0/0 lat & long with no aircraft defaulted ...and changing to any airport does nothing. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Okay this is weird, I have a pretty decent setup, not sure why but I am constantly getting a lot of those OOM dinging sounds early in the game now. Even when sitting at the gate doing my cockpit preparations. I have my settings set to medium, and not sure what is eating up so much VAS during the very beginning stages of my flight. I'd like to acquire new aircraft from Boeing in Washington (PDMG products) and bring them back to various home bases across the world. Is there any mod out there that would allow me to, for instance, fly in to Chicago International (KORD) and see all of the aircraft I left parked there? Such a simple thing, that would make the simulator very cool indeed. I could literally assemble a "hangar" of sorts of planes I purchased new and have sitting around the world, exactly where I left them. Thanks, Mark

I own Juneau, Palm Springs and Bozeman airports from ORBX and at all three I experience excessive stuttering. I think the frame rate itself is not the issue because it does go up to 29-30 which I've set it to in Nvidia Inspector which has always worked very well for me. It does however drop to 19, sometimes 10 for about 2 secs until it increases to 30 again. So it's not continually bad but drops low every 2 secs or generally when I pan around the camera or land or take off from the airports. I had KPSP on my other computer as well which is not as powerful as my current one and if my memory serves me right, I didn't have that paralyzing stuttering then. My settings are abo…

Hi there - some of my old FSX favourite airports installed in P3D have this odd behaviour, some don't. Depending on where you turn your head, the runway surface can disappear revealing the underlying grass. Then when you turn your head back again, it reappears. Makes landings difficult because when it disappears, have to judge where the runway would be by the hats on the side. Is there anything that can be done or just live with it? Thanks

Can anyone help me figure out how to install kstl into p3dv3? There is an installer but it only show fsx as an option and when changing the directory to P3d, though it lets me install, I get a scenery.cfg error remote directory invalid. Would you like to unload? I also add the area in the scenery tab but nothing changes. Can someone walk me through?

Hello to all: Yesterday I "experimented" with a trial version of the video recording program "Movavi". Upon opening my P3D v3.4 today, I find that all my views are in "Double Zoom". In other words, a zoom factor of 0.4, now has the same "look or view" as my "standard" 0.8, looked yesterday. This affects all airplanes, default or add on and all views (VC cockpit, outside, etc.). I imgine that the short recording of my monitor that I tried yesterday, affected the zoom factor in P3D, but I just don't know where to look for the problem.
