I have rex essentials overdrive from before, but dont really use this.. then I got rex texture direct.. and now up to AS16 as well as the ASCA cloud architect.. i also have rex soft clouds.. but from what i've seen and heard, since the service patches to ASCA, its the better bet for now in terms of.. "soft clouds".. Here in lies the confusion i think.. Rex provides the textures.. but i'm starting from scratch with textures.. i'm thinking Rex i would select/check only ground textures.. no clouds.. and all cloud settings come from ASCA (not anything in AS16 per say.? I am meanwhile quite proficient in developing small Lua scripts in order to set local variables etc. for my GoFLight modules. However, where I still have not found a solution is on how to change P3D settings in Lua...For example I would like to change the engine should volume with a rotary knob during flight..no idea how to do this since there is no offset available, or setting some go the graphics options which do not need a reload of the scenery...any idea or experience? I installed P3D v3.4. PMDG 747 is great. Unfortunately "Ground Blurry" appeared and I tried every way, I cannot fix it.Will you please advise how to fix it .

Easy question I'm sure. Before I invest in an Orbx Region ... Are the airports within that region "ORBX enhanced" or are the FSX default airport objects used still? I'm really not certain what ORBX regions provide in relation to default.

Hi Guys, Ive been Doing some 'research' for better FSX scenery. I have currently GEX Europe and quite happy with it. But I've noticed that ORBX Europe is much better. So I was considering purchasing ORBX until I found out I couldn't use PAYPAL.. I do not have a credit card (live in the Netherlands and use 'IDEAL') is there still a way to get this scenery or do I need to have a credit card for this? thanks in advanced :)

Hi I have just purchased MyTraffic 6 - and thought I had followed the instructions to the letter - but am not seeing any traffic. Is there an idiots guide out there as to how to install? Hi All, I am hoping someone can advise me on this as having a few new issues with P3D I went over to P3D in the New Year and it has worked a treat, smooth and good FPS, no tearing or stuttering issues like FSX or freezing. I have been re-installing AI and Scenery over the past couple of months and no issues whatsoever. Last night I went on it and keep getting stuttering when I fly, tried at East Midlands (UK2K), Dubai (FlyTampa) and the Default AFB with the F22, JF 757 and Dash 8 (cant remember who made it!) I made update to latest Vector version which now is 1.50, but when i want to start airport elevation tool then have error message that "file cannot be created because it already exists". I have no clue what that mean, but after update Vector does not work as was before. Any good hints ?

Can anyone please advise if any of the RealityXP Garmin products GNS 430, 530 & GTN 650 750 supplied by Flight 1 software http://www.flight1.com/products.asp?product=f1gtn can be installed into the P3D default A36 Bonanza? The default 430 in the Bonanza doesn't seem to recognise my starting position or allow me to create a flight plan. I would also like to install the 750 if possible? Hey. Does anyone have suggestions on how to reduce or remove the hard edge squares I am getting? An example of this can be seen in the snow colored square in this image: I would expect that the edges would be more blended with the surrounding tiles and so am suspecting something in my configuration file. I'm trying to stay on low budget so I won't go REX / ORBX yet (using the money for airport sceneries insted) I'm looking for freeware textures replacement for clouds, sky, runways, taxiway, grass, For water I really like the p3d stock one I've found those two right now : Airport Enhancer HDX Lite for runway/taxiway/grass and High Definition Environment v2.0 adapted to FSX for clouds/sky it's very difficult to search and find such items in avsim library cause I don't really know what word to search, type in "texture" and you will have thousands of aircraft repaint results.... do…

hey guys, ive purchased global base and vector yesterday amd the scenery looks amazing. today i was like why not buy open CL too, itll be a complete package and look nice so i said wth lets do it. i installed it seemed fine but when i load into the sim it looks completely different i.e. the ground textures it just looks so plain and boring all the auto gen is missing the green type of fields are gone and its just all mostly yellow and looks horrible. have i done something wrong?.

I bought and installed Global base. Reading the manual that was delivered - and it said you should uninstall GEX first. I did not, and am wondering what I should do? If I strart to uninstall GEX now, I get a warning as I have deleted my GEX back up sometime ago to save space. I am afraid it would uninstall my new Global texture files. Any recommendations? My current spec is: i5 7600k @4.5ghz 8gb ddr4 ram gtx 970 asus tuf z270 Couple of questions i have is : . if i buy V3 base from p3d website for 59 dollars can i update it to v3.4 straight away or will i be stuck with V3.00 since i bought that one? . normally i just fly with the PMDG 777 AND 737 a whole load of addon scenery which version of my p3d shall i get professional plus or academic? . will i see a good decent performance over fsx ( sorry…

What is the highest resolution mesh possible in P3D V3.x, and who is the developer of choice for it? And does the highest resolution mesh have much impact on performance? Strikes me that me that mesh ought not to have big performance hit, and yet is seems like much higher resolution could add of a to visuals. Thanks

Bored of waiting for FSLabs A320 and fancying a new challenge. I only enjoy very realistic systems heavy simulations which I can follow real world FCOMs and procedures with. Recently got the A300B4 FCOM so wondered about SimCheck. Does it work in P3D and does anyone have any experience of using it? Cheers Rich

Hello Has anyone experienced and solved this problem please? I have just moved to P3D v3 from FSX and have assigned my VirtualFlyTQ6 in P3D's Controls. Done all the usual calibration, check to see that no conflicting settings exist on other controllers. The Throttle and Pitch levers work fine, but the Mixture lever causes the simulated lever in the P3D Beech Bonanza to flutter back and forth around the mid point on screen as I move the TQ6 lever and it will not adjust in the sim to the max or cut-off positions, no matter what i do with the controller leaver. Auto Mixture is un-ticked in P3D Settings. I have re-assigned and re-calibrated again and again…
