HI all Now that LOWI is released, and I reinstalled Austria HD, I want to get back into the slow flying stuff. However, I have no clue which plane, and what (good quality!!) addon is capable of really going that nice gentle flying up there where the air is thinner? A2A 182 would be my first pick, haven't found the time yet. I'm tryin the otter now, but that isn't really made for sightseeing is it? :P. any tips? vkr victor

Hi everyone, I currently have P3D v3. I have purchased the following planes and have a problem that all my payware planes are banking hard left through all stages of flight. A2A Cessna 172 A2A Cherokee Carenado Cessna Caravan Carenado P28 Just flight Piper Arrow 2 Now please bare in mind I had no problems before. It quite literally happened over night. (Although I think it was a similar time to when I purchased justflight piper arrow 2) Now I fully appreciate that the P factor comes in to play to model real flight etc. But this is too strong for that. Hi all I wanted to setup my Yoke and Rudder with FSUIPC in P3D. All worked well so FSUIPC recognizes the control inputs and I set it up as expected. But as soon as I enter the sim again, nothing happens. No input device triggers a movement of the controls in the plane. The sim is unpaused and everything installed as usual. What do i need to setup differently so the control inputs from my hardware are being used?

Hello all, I have a question regarding the ORBX Open LC North America and Europe's Use Guides. I wasn't to configure my sim settings as ORBX recommend to see if I can reduce my blurry textures. A few things in the PDF User Guide confuse me. First of all It states Level of detail radius = Large. In P3D Settings it goes Low, Medium, High, Ultra & Max. Does any of you know what Large equates to? The second thing that confuses me is Global texture resolution = Max, I can't find this part within P3D nor Mesh complexity to be set at 100. Hello I have two computers and two monitors. In what way can I utilise these to the best potential when using P3D, PMDG aircraft and several add on software titles as flight planning and utilities?

Hi This is my first time on the forum and now very frustrated at trying to download V3 and ready to request a refund. I just could not download the full Academic version and match the MD5 checksum. I then downloaded the individual component downloads and managed to get the checksums matching except for Scenes 3, 4 and 5. I have tried now without success on a i7 desktop, i7 laptop and an i5 laptop with anti virus programes removed, and windows 10 defender and firewalls turned off. I cannot believe that something can be so difficult. I am not an expert on computers but have never ever experienced downloading difficullty like this before. I have now been trying this of…

Hi, I am having a big issue with saving flight. Whenever I save a flight through P3D menu or Pro-ATC/X, I have a very long pause, for FSLabs A320X around 30 seconds, PMDG 777 takes around 1 minute to save. It has been working fine for me using Pro-ATC/X auto save situation where it will autosave without any pause in the sim. I am not using FSUIPC autosave. By looking at FSUIPC.log, I found that everytime I save a flight, one of these 2 messages pop up "**** No SimConnect events or states being received! Re-connecting now ... ****" " **** SimConnect Data Stalled! Re-connecting now ... ****" I just installed PMDG 777 yesterday and could not get it…

Hello, I'm getting an error message when I load an aircraft with the WX Advantage Radar. It says " MV_WX.dll incompatable with this simulator" I'm using P3D v3.4.22.19868 on Windows 10 64 BIT and the Flysimware Learjet 35A. I have right clicked on the MV_WX.dll in my P3D gauges folder and checked the Details tab->File description. It says for P3D v3.2.3.16769 How do i obtain a copy for 3.4.22.19868 or otherwise fix this problem please? Thanks in anticipation Andrew

Hi, been noticing that downloading files from the new OrbxDirect.Com system takes too long since downloading rates are extremely slow. Have anyone experienced the same?. Bought LOWI today and download rates are in the range of 100-110 Kbps which is far lower than the possible rates with my not-as-good internet speed (around 700-800 Kbps). Could it be that their server is congested most of the time?. Cheers, Ed

I tried doing a search and couldn't find anything, so I'll ask here. in my PMDG 777 or 747, while the sim is running not paused my VAS is steady, with maybe a slight increase loading some terrain. But if I set the pause at TOD, after a while my VAS will get to 96% and sometimes will OOM on me and CTD. Has anyone else experienced this issue? How can VAS increase when the sim is paused and not loading anything?

Ignition works now and then, also flpas one or twice, and then nothing works. Tried GoFlight support and its terrible, no answer to phone calls, replied to a message 1 month later, just asking if I was running Prepar 3 D as an administrator. Windows 7 , 64 bit.

Good evening, I've just finished flying VFR in Prepar3d while suddenly there were low flickering clouds appearing in the distance. This while the metar was showing overcast 3600 feet for current position, so there shouldn't be there. I want to be able to display GTN750 and/or WX Advantage Weather with a key stroke. My problem if I have EZDOK displaying my pilot position. I have to go to Vehicle Instrument panel then select the gauge. When I change views and come back to the Pilot view the gauges are gone and I have to go through the same routine to get them back. I don't mine redisplaying the gauges again. But I would prefer a separate keystroke to redisplay the gauge. Does anyone have a idea on how I can do this. Thank You. Bill McCracken

I'm seriously considering moving from FSX to Prepar3D. I'm tired of getting oom errors and I read where P3D can manage VAS a little better. I was trying to register on their forum but when it asked: What are the last seven letters of the program name Prepar3D?: I didn't realize they considered 3 a letter. I finally got an error that said "You have exceeded the maximum number of registration attempts for this session. Please try again later." I've tried several times but it still won't let me register. Hey All, I have a Mac laptop sitting next to me when I fly that I use for Skyvector and other things. I really would like to invest in a program I could run on it that would give me a live map with airport info etc. It seems like Foreflight is one of the only apps that does this on Mac? Is it worth the cost for most people? I am not a real pilot but I do take one-off lessons from time to time. I have a feeling most will say that Foreflight is best if you're a real pilot. If so, what are others using on MacOS?

Any one tried this in P3D? Feedback? There is 30% off right now at SimMarket.

As the title says, occasionally when I go into windowed mode to do something, and then return to P3D in Full Screen, the Windows toolbar at the bottom remains visible. I have to go to OPTIONS, and untick and tick the fill screen box to hide it again... any thoughts? Other times it covers properly.... Ta- Carl

Hi everybody, as a long time user of FSGlobal Mesh product I had the FS Global 2010 FTX version installed and have recently upgraded to Fs Global Next Generation. Since then my sim looks blurry and it seems as if Next Generation is not or at least less compatible with Orbx FTX as the 2010 FTX version. Can that be possible? Should I reinstall Orbx FTX through FTX Central after installing Next Generation mesh? Any help appreicated Best regards draci
