Hi there! :) I have a bit of a problem, when im trying to save my flight my P3D just ctd. I don't get any failcodes and my windows logbook (event viewer) dosen't say any "fails". Im running on P3D V3,3 and i my latest downloaded add one is the PMDG 747v3, but i happens on every flight, also default flights. In case my specs is: Intel I5 6402P Nivida GTX 970 16gb ram 225 gb SSD and 2 tb HHD (My p3d is installed on the hhd with all my addons and it has been installed there all the time). CYFB is a permafrost area and has no trees in real life. Why does ORBX have trees there? I have Open LC North America. jim

I would appreciate your help with the F27. I can see the F27 in the list of aircraft and when I load it I have sound, it moves but I cannot see the plane with the exception of a small light. I repaired Prepar3D twice but it made no difference. Any ideas? Thanks!

Today i ran windows update. Right after rebooting and starting the sim I got the "error creating child window" error Not sure what is going on .I ran a search but I'm not any wiser. Is any any update causing this that you know of ? All info/help/tips appreciated Thanks

In order to keep down VAS to within manageable levels, I fly P3d within a very sterile setup as I only fly the PMDG 737-800, 777 or the A2A Commanche. I use ORBX scenery but turn off scenery that's not relevant like EU England when flying PMDG at high Altitudes etc. To keep P3D running smoothly I have the Default AI only turned up to 15% using either GA or Airline traffic depending on what I'm flying that day and don't have any 3rd Party ATC installed but can't stand to use the default ATC in Europe as its too American. I'm now getting a bit bored with this environment and need to add some more AI like Ultimate Traffic 2 or My Traffic X, both of which I own for…

There are a lot of different variations in appearance in some airplane models. Such as different colors, different operators, slung loads, floats and such. They are all in the original airplane folder. When I try to open one of the models I get a message telling me there are identical airplanes and I cannot continue until I acknowledge that message and the dozen or so that pop up for all the different variations. Like a R22 club, R22 red, R22 sling etc. They all come up as R22 on selection. Is there a way I can delete all the extra configurations and use just one basic type of configuration to avoid the messages? I tried deleting the extra configurations from the a…

This is an odd issue. I've tried a lot of fixes short of a reinstall. You can see here I'm missing gauges but also model components in the C310 (having trouble with pic but I'll get it inserted later today) Has anyone ever noticed a lack of model parts in their VC? Hello all, I have been having some issues with my Prepar3D V3.1 - when I run it as an admin to start up, the splashscreen shows up. After a minute or so, the splashscreen completely disappears, but in task manager, the program is still running. My most recent addon install was the Flight1 GTN750 and the Carenado Hawker. I'm running Windows 10 with an i7-4790k, GTX980ti, 16GB RAM w/ the latest version of P3D v3.1. I have tried deleting the scenery.cfg or reinstalling the latest addon manager to see if it had anything to do with that, but no luck. I've also reinstalled the latest version of FSUIPC. Any suggestions/tips? Thank you all.

When I start a new flight the meter sticks at 6% for10 minutes or longer. I have 11 megascenery installed and 4 third party aircraft installed. Is there anyway to speed up the 6% stall. It is very annoying to wait that long.

In previous setups with older versions of P3D I used the Estonia tool to import my A2A Piper Cub, P-51, and B-17G aircraft purchased for FSX into P3D and everything worked well and updated with the A2A updating tool releases. I have purchased the C-172 and T-6 P3D versions of A2A aircraft and would like to add my other A2A aircraft to my current set-up but have concerns they may corrupt something. I was thinking of using the method Elaine Dixon has outlined instead of the Estonia Migration tool and I would also install the Accusim packages and use the A2A update tool as before that everyone says still works fine once aircraft are ported into P3D. Hi there, I just got ORBX global base and I installed it via the manual given by ORBX. I also set my settings as advised by ORBX but in my honest opinion the result is a bit disapointing. The FSX default scenery had a lot of houses and trees around this airport (EHAM) but in the scenery there isn't a thing (see pictures) I hope somebody knows how to fix this (I hope you can fix this) and I would really appreciate it to get some advice what to do. Hi everyone! My rig: 4670K@4300 DDR3 Gskill Sniper 8GB 1600@2200 KFA2 (GALAX) 1070 EXOC SNIPER BLACK The performance is great where I'm in sparse scenery areas but if I try to fly e.g. New York i get no more than 35 FPS (almost every setting maxed out). What I don't understand is that the GPU doesn't go over 70% (usually sits at 50-60%) while my core0 stays at 100% (AffinityMask=15). It means I'm CPU limited? Otherwise I would expect higher FPS. Hi, I'm just a little bit confused about the difference between FTX Vector and OpenLC. Is OpenLC basically a section of Vector but for that specific region or it is an improved version of Vector to that region? I do a lot of my flying in North America but I also fly around Europe quite a bit so I was thinking, should I just get both Landclasses or get vector to cover everything? Hi! So when flying around in Norway with FTX Norway installed i notice the textures look bad far away, but gets a little bit better when approaching them. But it doesnt get better til im right above it or close to the ground. I would say its a slow loading time for the textures to appear. For the life of me I can't seem to locate a Search option.

Appearantly there's something wrong with my ShaderHLSL content and I cant find how to create a new ShaderHLSL folder, or its content. I made a back-up of the ShaderHLSL folder and tried to repair P3D. I tried to delete the folder and repair P3D, but then I get a message that the folder is missing. I tried to delete the content and repair. I tried to delete and reinstall P3D over the original, but nothing works. Could someone please explain to me how create a new ShaderHLSL folder with content, or new content, or whatever is needed to get a fresh ShaderHLSL?

Hello all. I just bought LFPG, i ran the installer, activated the scenery, i loaded up the sim and none of the terminals were showing??? http://prntscr.com/f4y5wm ????? http://prntscr.com/f4y5a7 this is from my scenery library, i hope its correct? The manual says that the LFPG-Terrain folder should be under the LFPG folder, and the LFPG-Layerup folder is upper than LFPG. I hope someone can help me, i am desperate. Thanks in advance

Hi all, So, my problem began about a week ago, when i went to set up a flight in the aerosoft a320, in Aerosoft Zurich, using Prepar3d V3.4. For about a second, my frames were normal (around 25-40fps). And then, they suddenly dropped into single digits, and stayed there, fluctuating around from about 2fps up to 6fps. and it just stayed like that. I didn't really know what to do, so I went into aircraft, and selected a different livery of the same aircraft. then my problem was gone, frame rate back to normal. Can anyone please post instructions HERE on how to get AS PANC to work in SAK? I cannot register in the orbx forum no matter how hard I try. Go to the forums and get a page stating I don't have permission for that with no way to register or do anything else. So, i have seen the links to the post there on how we do this. Hi,I really haven't been to any of the Imagine Simulation airports since installing them into P3D, but I just noticed a problem. Seems I'm missing just about all the Jetways/gates at the following airports.KCLT, KCVG, KDEN, KLGA, TJSJ, KIAD and KMCIAnyone know if they use any generic FSX textures that may be missing from P3D?. I've reinstalled numerous times only to see the same problem.Thanks

Hi guys, I just approached at KCLT by ImagineSim. Wonderful airport so far. I decided to taxi to Terminal D, Gate D9. While turning of the taxiway and heading to the final parking position the FlightSimulator says "CRASH!", like hitting a building or so. Tried it again, same thing around terminal D. I had no problems to taxi to Terminal A, B or C. Are here any invisible objects? And are there any new BGLs released, which solve the issue? Found nothing on the internet so far. If your sim is running fine there is no point in reading this Guide. If however you have trouble with OOM's, Texture loading, FPS, hopefully this might help, why does it work? perhaps these setting just work for me, maybe they could help you? There is nothing new or groundbreaking, Just how I manage P3D and my add-ons on a middle of the road PC.
