Please, my sun is missing and i've tried REX 4 but nothing.... can anybody help me please

I mainly like to use VC and locked spot views. Is there a way to disable spot, fly by, and top down views when cycling through outside views?

Hi guys My P3D scenery database rebuilds on every startup. I see this has been an issue for many, but running through all the posts I could find, didn't produce an answer for me:-( I've tried removing all but the default entries and rebuilding the scenery.ini file, Checked for duplicate entries, and also used 'Scenery Config Editor' to look for errors. Any other suggestions welcome;-)

So perhaps I'm just impatient. Perhaps I'm getting a bit fed up with the hobby. But. I have posted over at REX, the offered me the solution...and it failed...and I have not heard back from them, perhaps they are taking a weekend off, who knows. So I had a HD fail, loose all my connections to FS Utilities, but no issue I have a complete clone on another drive. I go get a new HD and using my backup reestablish my FS Utilities. I launch my REX Essentials with OD, Ive lost my P3D access and so follow their procedure for reestablishing REX access to P3D, which I paid for sometime back...but for some reason the lose of my HD had lost data or something. Hey all, Every once in awhile I see these weird glitches with ground textures. Yesterday was the worst one I've seen to date while landing at KMCI. I'm using Steve's presets on the DX10 fixer. Add-on's include ORBX Global FTX, PMDG 737NGX, GSX, FS2Crew, Ultimate Traffic Live, and Active Sky 2016. Is what I'm seeing an ORBX issue or does anyone know what might be happening? Thanks!

Hi Guys I recently did a full system rebuild and am having issues with what I think is simconnect. I can't seem to get p3d to communicate with any of my addon applications. I am running both P3D and all addon programs like active sky 2016 and ezdok v2 on the same machine. When I load asn 2016 it starts fine and downloads the weather without problem. For instance, when I then start P3D, asn stays at 'waiting for sim' and does not connect to the sim. Ezdok also indicates it is unable to connect through simconnect. Hey guys If i was to use full dynamics mode Cloud structure only ticked in asca And used rex sc for textures Would this be the best option? Or also untick cloud structures in asca and use rex 4 sc? Thanks MiKe

If installing ATC (RC4, PF3, PATC/X etc) on the main PC where is a better location for it: on the same SSD with P3D or on OS SSD? Thanks, Dirk.

Bought this package some time ago. I sent a request to the developer very quickly and asked that they remove the smoky glass attempt for light reflection as it was very difficult to see the gauges. They acknowledged my request (but didn't say they would do anything about it). When the regional update package came out I hoped that my issue had been addressed. It had not. So I have a great flight model and respectable external aircraft but the VC sucks. I am wondering if anybody else has this plane and/or knows how to remove the smoky glass on the gauges in the VC? Interestingly the fixed 2D view cockpit is clear as a bell but I hate the fixed 2D cockpit?

Dear all! I fly IFR only in P3D, and I am looking at ORBX's Central and South California packages to combine with other addon airports including ORBX's SAN. My question is, if this would be too much for my system in terms of VAS and even FPS? Compared to say megascenery earth.

I hope they rework the ATC engine. It dates back to FS9 basically! Everything needs to be reworked, starting from ATIS and clearances right down to such things as local dialects...

Hello all, I am completely new to posting on these forums, as I have just recently started getting into sims--specifically Prepar3D. I will be looking to do Naval Sims, so on a side note if anybody has any useful tips on anything feel free to let me know! I am currently using a Linux machine. This is a problem knowing Prepar3D only runs on Windows. I am wondering if anybody has any experience using Prepar3D on a Virtual Machine, specifically VMWare. I would be trying to run Prepar3D on my Linux machine through VMWare. I can't change the fuel load using the Fuel and Payload editor. If I input the fuel weight the numbers don't "stick" and they even change at entry. The same when trying to input as a percentage. This happens with default aircraft as well as add-ons such as the QW757 where direct input is required to set the fuel load. I've looked for a solution on the forum but haven't found one. Help is needed please. P3D v3.4.18.19475.

I need an Airbus A330 for some of my VA long routes. I have been waiting for the Aerosoft A330 release but this seems to be taking forever and was wondering if anyone can recommend the BB A330 as an 'interim' aircraft until the AS release. There seems to be mixed reviews on textures/systems but these mostly relate to FSX users and pre v.0.85.2. Is anyone using the latest release (v0.85.2) in Prepar3D and would they recommend it for my reasons mentioned. Steve S

Hi, I just noticed my remaining VAS dropped from 1.4GB to 250MB using the 2D panel by mistake in the Majestic Dash8-400 Pro version 1.018E and Nvidia´s latest driver 382.05 I was going for opening the doors by my self and its quite close to the combo for the 2D panels Anyone else having this ? 3.4.22 Client only 3.4.9 for the rest Thanks Michael Moe

I started P3D today and got these giant colored transparent blocks from the ground up into the sky. Its happening at every airport I go to, USA & Europe. I couldn't figure out how to insert a pic. I don't know if it has to do with the weather engine or what. Jerry

Friday, 1700 on, made a purchase, got conf email. The website loads 50/50 but going from page to page is slow and hangs. Cannot get in through central." Is it down?" site cannot access it. Can someone verify its not just me? Thanks,Jim edit- website working but cannot use the ftx via desktop or when trying through my account in order to download Sedona. Tempted manually but to crash or corrupt would ruin me.

I am having issues with trees appearing on a couple (so far) of Florida airports. Two I've found are on the taxiways at KMCO and KMTH. ANyone else having problems here?
