Hi there, LM just posted a video on the twitter, check it out. They are introducing the "Air 5428 program", I don't know anything about that but obviously it has something to do with their SCIO product line. And Prepar3D is one of the SCIO Live product. So I think they might be related. What I find something interesting is, look at the video at 1:20, the scenery looks really similar to ORBX. Besides the trainer was using a Thrust Master HOTAS set.(1:04) It's USAF licensed so it may not be news. However, if you take a close look at the taskbar(1:20) you can see the icon is black. I posted this at ORBX forums and Jarrad replied. He thinks it's a graphics/driver issue. I went on a spending spree and bought PSP, TEX, SEZ, and EGE, lol. They're on sale! Anyhow I have noticed the runway at SEZ for example is visible through a mountain as I approach from the north. I haven't been to the other airports yet but I don't think my Freeware NA pack do this. Any ideas?? Performance is great at SEZ. My driver is 381.89 and I use Nvidia inspector with the best settings that work for performance. Nothing that seems like it would result in this. Somehow NO password I attempt to insert in Orbx Central will not work. I thought I knew the password, but obviously not. I have posted this on ORBX forum and someone is attempting to help me. So far, nothing has worked. I have all my purchases and Orbx stuff under this password. I was hoping there's an easy way to rectify this situation. I even opened another email to get in. It worked, but then I realized that none of my purchases are recognized under this email Hope I can get an answer to getting this corrected soon. I want to purchase other scenery areas but am unable to link those to my original email. Stan

I thought taxi2gate LFPG was the cause as I first saw them appearing there. I shows multiple traffic hovering over airport but on closer inspection...nothing is there and affects fps. Regards, Dario

Hi all.. Again.. after a almost 10 hr flight, i got the following message that "This device (insert graphic card) has stopped working for the following reasons :"dxgi_error_device_hung".. Earlier today i did a 3hr flight, and nothing happened... I have the latest Nvdidia drivers. My graphic card is the NVIDIA Geforce GTX 760. I hope someone can help me.. Regards.

What are the overall performance patterns for the individual FTX airports that cost individually? IOW, I use the freeware NA pack with FTX Global and OpenLC. I fly the RealAir Duke into these often and it's fine. So are KSEZ and others like it on par performance wise or do they pose more of a hit? I already know I can't install 3rd party airports that would accept the PMDG aircraft. My performance in those birds in acceptable but stuttery at times in places like LAX and SFO.

Hi All, Just wondering if anyone has successfully installed the Air Alaska missions pack into V3? The current installer looks for v2 which is not installed on my system. Before I download and install V2 again I was wondering if there was an easy way around this. I tried adding registry key values to point the SetupPath of v2 to the v3 folder but it still says I don't have it installed so I can't run the setup. Any help would be much appreciated. Cheers

Just installed PAVD, and I notice in the control panel, under "Runway lights compatibility" there is an option to "untick if using P3D 3.4.9 or newer" I don't know about anybody else, but my P3D install is 3.4.22.19868, and when checking the Prepar3d download site, I find I am running the latest, available version. Hi all, I'm really pulling my hair out trying to figure out what's going wrong here so I would hugely appreciate any help anyone can suggest. I've tried over at the P3D forums but have received no help at all and it's the only way of me requesting 'official' help. Ever since I've installed P3D3.4 I have an issue where the ground textures seem to be slow to load. It almost looks like they are constantly refreshing and even ground textures that I'm overflying will look to "re-load" as I fly over. It's hugely distracting and I can't enjoy my sim at all at the moment. This is when flying a fresh installed (on a reformatted SSD) with no addons and I've tried exp…

I have FTX Global, Vector and NA LC installed. I just bought KMRY and didn't realize that NORCAL was required for full features and proper elevation. My bad... So I'm quite willing to buy NORCAL but I'm worried about performance (system specs below). What is your experience with NORCAL in addition to FTX Global, Vector and NA LC? I've heard a lot of performance gripes with SOCAL. If I could just get the elevation issues fixed, I'd probably skip getting the region, but I've tried AEC enabled and disabled and there are plateaus and trenches etc either way without NORCAL. Is that fixed by installing the region? Thanks!

Ever since I've been using PFPX for my flight planning, it has always screwed me over on runways. I was flying into AMS the other day, and on final approach to RW06, Tower came on informing me that was not the right runway and it was closed. It has also happened at London, departing the wrong runway. Has anyone else ever had this issue? I seem to always get wrong runways.

Hello, I'm just building the F/O side of my 737-800 sim. I have 2 different yokes (one ace and one from aggron). I use FSUIPC for the axis assignments and calibrations. is there a way to assign a separate calibration for each yoke? Currently both yokes elevator and aileron axis calibration are the same. Very annoying as each yoke behave differently and would need their own calibration. Many thanks for your help! Best Karim

Hello All, I have posted this issue also at the ORBX support forum but I really would like to hear from your experience with the Scenery Library order (which giving me a terrible headache :) ). I was trying to install ORBX "NA Northern Rockies" and "NA Northern California" using "FTX central 3" and after installation it looks it made my scenery library got completely messed up (All ORBX products were at the top of the scenery library since the insertion point in the FTX central 3 setup screen was set incorrectly, which I fixed already). After months of fiddling, new ORBX stuff, etc. my sim is totally dialed in and running 3.3 like a champ. Seems like perfect timing for LM to release an upgrade! :-)

Any body using socal photo scenery with this airport Do they play well together?

I was led to believe that P3D handled VAS far better than FSX. Well I'm not convinced and I hope the attached image proves my point. I'm using P3D v3.4, FS Labs ConcordeX and two Aerosoft Airports - Mega Airport Oslo and Heathrow Xtended. My P3D settings are in line with those recommended by Rob Ainscough in his support document. Hardware in my sig. On loading a saved flight with Concorde cold and dark at Oslo the remaining VAS is around 1200Mb. That fine. However after passing FL260 I've past the Norwegian coast heading out into the North Sea and accelerating to Mach 2. I would expect to see P3D recover a reasonable amount of VAS but a measly 100Mb is reco…

I recently purchased orbx global base pack and arlanda Stockholm airport. I did two flights one from flytampa OMDB to ESSA and other from LTBA to ESSA on both occasion, on final to runway 500ft AGL, I received CTD saying no memory left. I never had this issue with any other airport till now. IS it to do with orbx and ESSA product? My pc is quite good to cope up with fly tampa airports, aerosoft EGLL, EDDF, EHAM airports. Is ther any twicking i need to do to orbx for smooth flight? I use FSX with DX10 software, ASN, PF3 and WOAI. Best wishes Ash

I read this in the release notes for 3.4 under "Prepar3D Scenery - Fixes and Improvements": "Fixed terrain crack and spike in northern Alaska" I know there were a lot of these cracks and spikes in FSX, I flew around one such spike in Greenland I think, it must have extended up to lower earth orbit. There are some silly FSX screen shots here: simtours.net. I'm curious if anyone has encountered the Alaskan spike in p3d 3.3 and has a screenshot?

I am going nuts friends..... Before updating to V3.4.. I had all the usual add-on; GSX, RAASPro, FSFX, Chaseplane.. etc and flying around with no problems.. After Updating to 3.4 All addons working but RAASPro would not... I downloaded the latest update.... No solution, Ran all the simconnects.... No solution Checked the RAASPRO.Log... I have been watching froogle messing about in orbx PNG plus the seven extra ruff "bush" fields you can buy extra. This fits my simming world to a T and would really like to try it. i have some questions before I go ahead: It says on their website that global is needed, but other users report that it is not needed but will look better ( so it will work without) i assume this is true? also I'll add the free holger mesh for better mountain elevation. also, can I buy another hard drive install it on the new drive and run it from there, with fsx on another drive? A few years ago, I installed UT2 and a variety of WOAI airline packages in FSX and had things working pretty well. After a pc crash about 1 1/2 years ago, I had to reinstall FSX and did not reinstall UT2/WOAI. I am now flying all of my tubeliners (PMDG) in P3Dv3.3.5 and use FSX for GA flying (A2A, MilViz & RealAir). I have been contemplating trying AI once again, but primarily in P3D flying the various flights for my VA. The way I understand, the simplest method would be to install the AI into FSX and then copy over all the required files to P3D, since I have both sims installed.
