Six hours into a major release and no one is try to jump off the top of their building and screaming! I know now I bought way too much popcorn but it is great to see that things are moving rather smoothly. It looks like LM may have this whole Sim Thing under control. My hats off to the whole team. I am sure there will be some glitches and tune-ups but we are on our way forward again. Thanks LM

My motherboard only allows for a all-in total of 12 GB's of System Ram. I have that installed. Will I benefit from purchasing v4.0, over my v3.4, with that system limit in mind? Thoughts, appreciated... BTW, XP11 which is 64 bits and uses my 12 GB's work quite alright. Was hoping that the coding for P3D v4.0 would do the same... What do you folks think? Ses

Hello all Fellow simmers! I am purchasing P3D today and had a few quick questions for our community if possible- Can you or have you installed V4 with 3.4 still installed or did you have to uninstall it? Were you able to run FTX Central 3 and have it install your scenery files? Any issues? That's all i have so far- Thanks for any info you can provide! Jon in Las Vegas

What are most simmers getting the Prepar3D Academic licence? I'm new to Prepar3D. Is that what most simmers are getting? I would like to slowly move to Prepar3D because of the 64 bit engine I'm done with FSX and OOMs and tweaking. Hoping this will be the way to go.

I'm trying to redownload the 182 but my link activation has expired. I have been trying to log on to the A2A site but lost my password and cant remember my username, when I put my email address in it says no user info, and then when I try to regester it says my email address is already in the system. So I was thinking if Lewis or someone from A2A is reading this they can help me get back on the site so I can redownload the 182. Please help. Larry Imler

Afternoon All, This probably not in the right place but I'm in the middle of making some scenery for myself and a few friends and was wondering how to create an .exe file? I'm sure there is a program that all 3rd party devs use to make the exe file but I simply cannot find it all. All help appreciated. Many thanks, Lee

I'm looking at the Orbx offering for landclass in North America and Europe, but just wondering if there are other options I should be considering. With the Orbx sale the timing seems right, but is there something else out there that could trump it?

I currently have FSX SE but will purchase the latest Prepared4 in a couple of days. This is how I would like to do this but let me know if there's a better way. I would un-install all of my payware aircraft, scenery, utilities, etc. and there's a ton of them. Next, purchase then install Prepared4. Finally, install only the payware that is compatible at this time. Right now my E: Drive is dedicated solely to the flight sim. My external hard drive ( F: Drive ) has all the Mega Earth Sceneries and have never had a problem with that. When I do the clean install should the Mega Sceneries be un-installed also? Thanks in advance for your help.

I currently have FSX: Acceleration installed on a user-defined location on my SSD. With the release of Prepar3d V4 tomorrow, I want to purchase and install it. My question is: (1) Can I install it without any issues with the existing FSX, and (2) Is there anything else I must do other than purchase, download, and install to prevent conflicts with FSX? The reason I ask is because two weeks ago, I installed FSX-Steam, and it ruined FSX, it utilized my FSX.CFG even though FSX-Steam was located in the Steam file directory.

I dont know where else to turn. I filled my cart with over two hundred pounds worth of goods starting with Global. When it came to check out, I was informed that my almost brand new master card was not acceptable for this transaction. No explanation was given. The problem is that no email address is given for Orbx. In fact they say that they will not transact by email. How is one supposed to contact them apart from the forum [ should be fora] Then, after I had given up hope, the download for Global appeared on my computer, so I downloaded it. I wont know if ive paid for it or not until I get my bank statement. It did cross my mind that this was a way to avoid g…

After upgrading to Windows 10 version 1703 the fonts for Bendix-King avionics (on the default Baron and King Air) no longer appear. Microsoft apparently excluded some fonts that were previously installed in the upgrade process. My simple question is "which font is the Bendix-King gauge looking for and not finding?" Once I know that I can reinstall the font and be back to normal. I've found in searching that this isn't an easy thing to find though examination of config files etc. which is why I'm asking you folks.

Hi everyone, Before I really want to get the regions from ORBX but due to the VAS problem I chose not to. Now with the P3D V4 coming up and ORBX is on big sale, I want to ask if the regions affect the performance in your setup when using FSX or P3D V3? Planning on purchase PNW, NoCal and SoCal I have had very good performance using complex addons together (FSDT KLAX/ Flightbeam KSFO with PMDGs/FSLabs) so I would assume I can use them with the regions. Thank you, Hoang Le

Just wondering if anyone else is feeling sickly right about now. I think I may have caught a 48-hour bug - you know, one that starts around 9 or 10ish in the morning? Think I'll have to call the boss in the AM and tell him that I had better stay home for a couple of days, at least. But to be on the safe side, I'll be sure to stay close to my computer - in case it gets worst and I need to email 911. cough cough

Hello all, I am just getting ready for the big event and was wondering when installing Orbx using FTX Central, does it HAVE to be re downloaded all the time or can I just grab the Orbx folder out of the P3D folder? Not sure how that works. Tried googling but to no avail,

If I already have Orbx regions and Global for FSX, and move to Prepar3D do I have to buy them again if I want to use them in Prepar3D? I will do what is right , or are they ok to use if I uninstall from FSX, or am I allowed to use them in both. I remember when I installed them they gave me the option for fsx or Prepar3D. It all gets v confusing. Admin If I cant ask this please just delete topic. thanks

Version 3.4 Seems like when I fly low level, say 1-2 thousand feet AGL, in FTX regions, especially mountainous areas in Southern CA or Northern CA, I get these hesitations about every 5 miles or so, where the movement stalls for 1-2 seconds and then resumes its normal speed. FPS are my normal 30-40 FPS a second with most sliders set at mid or dense. I wouldn't call this a stutter, more like a short pause. I do not have auto save enabled. I am assuming that this is caused by new scenery loading as I am flying along. Now my question is, is this a CPU or GPU issue related issue. My CPU activity when this happens looking at Task Manager seems a normal 50 percent, and the…
