Hi everyone Have been running FSX with orbx global , regions and several airports for long time. I have just updated them with Orbx central v 3 Just bought P3Dv3 as my first P3D package. I ran my original orbx global base pack v 1.30 installer, with the intention of loading it into P3D and then updating them but the options window only goes up to P3Dv2. After a google I believe there is a P3Dv3 installer that can be downloaded. If this is true , can someone please direct me . I thought it might be on orbx home site but didn't see it.

Have a copy of P3dv3 already installed and activated in my PC - but strangely tonight I get prompted to input an activation code - which isn't being accepted! (would have posted on the P3D site but that seems to be down - anyone have any ideas whats going on?

When this aircraft was released several months ago, there were a number of negative comments on this forum: particularly in terms of poor VC, weak textures and missing or faulty functionality. Since then two or three service packs have now been released, including one a couple of weeks ago, it would be good to hear from those who bought the aircraft and have now installed the service packs, if they feel that some of these weaknesses have been addressed. I would really like to buy this aircraft, but was turned off by some of the comments. I did notice that a few buyers, including a former HS748 pilot, said they were happy with the product. Would be grateful for any comment…

HI all Well, it happened, I got into VFR flying. Have been doing a lot in Austria (lowi (obv)> something) but now wanna expend. Does anyone have a tip of a place / region which is nice with good scenery, as lively as possible (birds or idk). I have been looking at Norway, and gonna try that, but there aren't that many good airports available. I read and saw pnw, but I'm not sure which airports are nice in that region (there are many :o(have been using airdailyx's map)) SO, any suggestions and discusions would be sweet ^^ cheerio victorio

I would like to be able to add specific taxiway edge markings to one of my airports. These are the "load bearing limits" lines (thick yellow lines, with multiple short yellow lines at right angles) as seen in the following diagram... I did this some time ago when I added a single short section for the upgraded version of EGTK Oxford in UK2000 VFR Airfields Volume 1 Version 2. However, I can't seem to find this specific line type anymore in the GP Editor when using Airport Design Editor. Does anyone know how to add lines like this?

Unable to fly any freeware and payware aircraft in Prepar3D. The elevator jumps after a very little input of my joystick (from neutral) directly to full down. So all aircrafts in my Prepar3d Hangar are grounded. Up and roll/yaw commands working fine. I performed a fresh installation and calibrate all axis, zero level,sensetivity and 0 zone. No joy. My Microsoft Sidewinder working normal and without any stuttering in FSX and X-PLANE 10/11 Win10 as my basic software without the latest update. Regards Jovabra

A completely different card. The MSI Gaming X 1070. However. it still happens. And, now I really have no clue. 750 watt should eb enough right? And, I have no problems with any other software except P3d. I did a lot of flights on my old card (msi 760) while the new one was away, and no problems at all. Hello, I installed ImagineSim's New Laguardia and have the below scenery issues: I'm not quite sure what could be causing this and believe me I've tried everything to fix it. I looks to be an elevation issue or a conflict with something else, however, the only other sceneries I have in the area are FTX Global and FSDT's KJFK v2, everything else is default. I've reached out to Orbx and they advised that Global is not causing the issue. I've reached out to ImagineSim, and, while they have been responsive, they have not been able to resolve the issue. Hi All, I have this issue,i installed P3D after a long time and with Realism shader pack V1.1 but i accidentally uninstalled the pack without backing up the original P3D textures and now i have black clouds randomly. For years I was bothered by my arrival gate being occupied by an AI aircraft. The only way around this - as far as I know - was to edit the AFCAD file. This problem is finally solved now by the payware (not too expensive) "Where are my Aircraft (WAMA)". The newest version of WAMA (besides its original purpose of keeping track of all your aircraft and displaying them in the sim) includes an option to define the departure and arrival gate and WAMA will then keep these gates free of AI traffic. Hey folks. I'm trying to determine if it's on my end or if anyone else has experienced this issue. I've done quite a few approaches into YSSY, on runways 25, 34L, 34R. Each of these appear as correct and lined up with the ILS arrow and runway on my flight map but during the approach the aircraft comes in at an angle to the runway and not on a straight in course or anywhere near the runway extension line in the ND. Frequency and course are correct and I've tried this with and without a STAR. This ONLY happens with PMDG. Specifically the MD-11 and the 747. I've searched for two days on a resolution for this. Hello everyone of the flight simulation community! Currently, AS16 and ASCA are on sale for a considerable amount of the MSRP. I am probably going to move over to p3d for various, obvious reasons. The question I have is whether I should bite the bullet and get p3d v3 or wait for v4? Also, should I buy AS16 and ASCA right now for p3d since they are on sale and wait for v4?, buy them in conjunction with p3d v3, or not buy them at all?

I'm using Carenado's old C185F amphibian. That does get the job done but it's really aged over the years. I also have the option of the tri-pacer from Lionheart, only holds 3 pax instead of the 5 above. so what else is available to get into those tiny lakes with cabins? I'm debating Lionheart Kodiak but seems old as well. Nothing shiny and new coming down...oh wait.. Milviz new Beaver, if that ever comes out.

I purchased Active Sky 2016 for P3D today. Install went fine until I launched the simulator and discovered the following error messages (in order): "An error message was received from ASConnect: date, time etc... Incompatible P3D version. I just bought Pro ATC/X and I'm having issues as a new user. Can anyone shed some light? I received some weird instructions that messed up my flight into Paris from London. 1) On Vectors to FAF into CDG - receive message "turn xxx proceed on course"!???? Followed by immediate "turn xxx - cleared ILS approach". 2) After being cleared approach and on loc/gs - message "climb to 5000 feet"??? 5000 feet was the intercept altitude. At this point I'm descending on the g/s at 3000 feet. Then contact tower, at this point I am too high to land because I complied with the order. There was no interfering traffic on the moving map. i just installed the OrbX open LC North America, i've been having trouble with it. Its not loading all the way and the area around the airports look really messed up and blocky. I use the ORBx EGPB Sumburgh airport with PlayHorizon VFR Photographic Scenery Volume 5 Shetland Isles & Orkneys, but I have a problem. I like to fly in early Spring, but this results in snow on the ground at EGPB Sumburgh. Does anyone know how I could get P3D v3.3.5 to display normal spring textures rather than snow?
