I am trying to buy Vecotr but when i try to purchase the software it says i have to log in. When i try it says it does nto recognise my user id and passwrod, but, when i ask for a passowrd reset to be sent to my email, i never get anything. i would rally like to buy this software!!!

Ok just installed the A320X into my P3D install. Let me preface by saying I don't have the latest and greatest computer. i2500K @ 4.7. GTX970, pretty slow/old RAM. ORBX Global, Vector and LC installed (Vector at very reasonable settings for jets). I pretty much follow the P3D guide posted here. I started up at Fly Tampa Toronto which for me (and many others) is a VAS killing OOM machine. I have toned it down as much as I can. AS2016 / ASCA Weather - Real weather today cloudy light rain. Installed standared 2048 textures in the A320X installer. Same as my FSX install. OK started on runway 05 and taxied to the other runway, past all terminal. …

As most people are aware, the default data shipped with FSX/P3D dates back to 2006 at the latest and probably some before that! For the past couple of months I have been quietly working on a not so little project to update the airspace in FSX/P3D so that it matches the real world as defined in the UK AIP. Struggling to find a remedy for this problem ... cockpit suddenly went stretched over both monitor and can't get it back to display on one monitor normally have restarted sim .. rebooted computer ... looked in control panel to set display up again .. nothing is solving it ... seem to have virtual cockpit view 001 on other monitor ... but can't close the view any suggestions ? i can get it into normal main window but it dosn't look right ... 2nd window is named virtual cockpit view 001 if i change aircraft or airports it reverts to being stretched over 2 monitors have tried unticking views ect

Hi all, A few months ago I got into Prepar3D and this issue has been more and more predominant lately. When flying the Majestic Q400, the Airbus Extended 320/321, or really any other aircraft, there are lots of problems when landing an ILS. For example, yesterday on final with the Q400, established on the ILS 06L at CYYZ (Toronto Pearson), I actually ended up landing on the green grade between 06L and taxiway C. This is a big difference since I didn't actually land on the runway and can cause damage to the plane. Hi I've been struggling with the Anti Aliasing for a very long time in P3D v3. Its very shimmery and the planes looks "liny" and ugly. First i thought it was my 130$ monitor so i bought a QHD 2560x1440p IPS but that didn't solve the problem at all. Have you guys any suggestions on whats the problem? I currently run a GTX 970 with i7 4790k @4.4Ghz. Good day Jacob

Hi, I cant seem to locate version 1.30 on FlightSimStore (only 1.20). I am also currently on FTX Central 2. Do I really need Central 3 or can I download v. 1.30 of OpenLC Europe somewhere else?

I think there is no doubt that the landing physics of P3D differ substantially from X-Plane. Don't get me wrong, I think P3D offers more in several areas compared to X-Plane, but the landing physics has always bothered me in P3D. Here, every aircraft feels like a feather, almost certainly to float. In X-Plane, especially IXEG and Flightfactor jets, it feels much more heavier and you will actually sense the hydraulics kicking in during touchdowns. Anyone else sharing my opinion? Maybe my settings are completely off, but I am not steering the aircrafts in P3D and XPL any differently but they certainly "feel" different.

First: I am fully aware that it's been developed for FSX. I did some research before buying for P3D and there didn't seem to be any problems other than missing runway lights at night which can be fixed. So I went for it since it's one amazing scenery. It works well except for the houses in the city. They are there but the textures don't show up and at night I only have some shimmering spots of red light on the ground between the street lights which do work. I had to add in manually to the Scenery Library, even the P3D sceneries from T2G like KSEA and KMCO are not added automatically. Not sure though if that's got anything to do with it.

I've got a bit of a catch 22 here. XtremePrototypes Lear won't load and crashes P3D due to some issue with Chaseplane. It had been running fine up until yesterday. I know this as I've disabled both exes in the Program Files/Old Prop folder and the Lear loads fine. So, if I can't get the plane to load, I can't remove the offending presets that must be causing the problem :>) So, can the presets for this AC be cleared on the cloud side? Or reinstall? Flying the Connie the engine sound remains at full even with throttle lowered all the way. I have had this happen in the past to prop plane engine sounds and did have a fix but forgot what it was.

This is a strange issue that has suddenly reared it's head today. Whenever I start P3D, the startup screen has horrible lag issues. The drop down boxes for profile and date/season/time won't open (or they open after a very long lag). Whenever I open the "select aircraft menu" I can't scroll through my aircraft as there is also a huge lag. Basically my P3D startup screen and aircraft menu are unusable. I can load a saved flight and if I do that everything works fine. I am racking my brain over what could have possibly caused this and I am at a loss. Any help or insight is very much appreciated.

Any help here about his phenomenon ? I have i7-6400 with GTX908ti and Panasonic 4k monitor. Monitor set at 30hz. P3d set to unlim fps, nvidia is set to 29,5 or 30,5 (30,0 not avb). When trying to determine the influenze on FPS by certain settings, i can see no difference, even with still view, my red FPS monitor keeps on jumping from 22 to 34, 38, 23, 28... how can you see a decrease of 10% then ? its jumping around each half second...

Why am I no longer offered large/heavy gate with a jetway. Since I downloaded ftx global vector a few days ago I can not get a large /heavy gate with a jetway at any free airports. When I am parked at any of the free airports I can see nearby gates with operating jetways. What is going on here , is there a SIMPLE fix for this. Like everyone else I love the eye candy you get with orbx. I would like a method of communicating with the manufacturer rather than this posting on a forum where they MIGHT see my problem. Hello all, I am in need of a biz jet and really thinking of buying the Carenado H850XP. I really wanted the Wilco Falcon 7X but read horrible reviews about it here on avsim. I understand the systems are not the best on the Hawker but that's ok. I don't mind if the systems are not modeled 100%. Is the Hawker still "buggy" as when it first came out? If I do the GTN 750 Mod will that make it more realistic? Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks, Matt

I know this is a well known issue for some but all the other solutions I could find have not worked for me at all. It doesn't take long for the terrain quality to diminish while flying even very short distances. I've tried using FFTF but setting it at .1 or .33 has no effect on it at all. Changing my scenery settings has helped a little bit but when flying in straight lines, the terrain doesn't load properly. I don't think my hardware is an issue whatsoever as I am running 2x GTX970s (disabled SLI for only P3D as a visual bug of flickering clouds gave me problems with the current drivers). HELLO to everybody, I just installed the Prepar3d 3.4 and I founded a good configuration on my system , that give me 30fps steady and fluid. the pc is a laptop with I5 4210h 2.9ghz and gtx 960m on win10 64. My problem is this , I state that I fly only in 2d cokpit, and when I use the autopilot , for example moving the gear to up or down with mouse, or I run the mouse over the landing gear lever, auto brake switch ,autopilot I get a bad stutters. Ok I know that I don't have a powerful pc but I can mantein a good level of smoothness normaly, only when I do some actions with mouse, I have the problem. I really want to get P3D because it seems like such a great flight simulator and FSX does not seem very "serious" if you will. Right now I have the PMDG 737NGX, 777-200LR/F with the -300ER expansion, that is quite a bit of money so I was wondering if I should make the switch and repurchase all of my PMDG products.Thanks.

And also what type of cpu or gpu would you pick? Hi all, Instead of buying a camera tool, I wanted to simply add transitions to my VC viewpoints. This works as intended by adding the string "transition = yes" to the connected viewpoints, but however, the transitions is so fast, that it still looks more like an instant viewpoint change. I did not find a lot of information about this, is there any additional string specifying the transition time? If yes, what is it? Thanks for any help, regards Chris

Hi there, I've recently noticed a problem with my install, I've noticed that my FPS at airports in Mainland UK is significantly worse than anywhere else in the world! My FPS stays around 20 at airports in the UK (occasionally jumping up to around 40) (With or without UK2000 Scenery) My FPS anywhere else in in the Solid 35-40 range, thats even at Aerosoft Dublin which is notoriously bad!
