Hi all - I've seen plenty of discussion on this topic and doing some testing of my own. Some have said in order to get Rex textures & SC to work with AS16 & ASCA, the way to do it is to disable the 4 content settings in ASCA, install a texture set from Rex and ASCA should control what Rex installed. From what I can tell, this doesn't completely seem accurate. While I am able to get Rex textures into the sim, I don't think ASCA is doing anything. AS16 is obviously running the WX but ASCA won't give the occasional messages at the top of the screen (as i'm running ASCA in full dynamic mode). This is leading me to believe that ASCA is useless in this scenario. …

Hello folks, I'm still on V3.2 because of the VAS management in 3.4. Now with the new hotfix I tend to update but my question is: can I update directly to V 3.4.18.19475 with a client installation or do I have to install the complete package because I skipped V3.3?

What ATC Addon do you use in P3D? I already tried the trial version of VoxATC, but it didn't work. I got error messages like "FATAL ERROR. Please restart", etc. Does anyone know how to fix these errors or do you have any recommendations for other products? Thanks in advance Flugsimulatorpilot

Hi all, Have anyone tried or know if the estonia migration tool (EMT) works o P3D v3.4? I am afraid of breaking anything cause I don't see any updated information on their website (installer last updated in March 2016).

A question for current owners of the products in the topic, do you have runway centerline lights? Reason I ask is I'm considering getting these products but my experience from JustSim Nice is there was a long waiting time until they finally released a fix making the runway centerline lights visible. After watching a couple of video clips it looks like these two products might suffer from the same issue where you only see the edge lights of the runway at night but not the centerline lights. Hi everyone. Hope you all has an amazing Xmas...... Just a little time poor in getting information on a good system to run P3D. I have a budget of $1.8K and looking to make the switch from FSX to P3D. If anyone out there can put together some specs I would greatly appreciate it. A few months ago I picked up a GTX 970 4GB so was thinking of using it in the new system to save some $$. I also intend to use my existing 27inch monitor and not looking to go into 4K just yet. I have all the ORBX range (pretty much) and run PMDG, high quality scenery addons etc....... Appreciate your help guys. Jas

Hi all, Anyone found a sweep spot for the Titan XP in their Nvidia Inspector settings. I have up graded from the old Titan X and had P3D running pretty well back then. Now with the Pascal X I have loads of stutters resulting from Frame Rate loss every few seconds. Other game forums are blaming bad drivers with such a new card and some folk have fiddled with NI to help reduce the stutters on other games. I am currently fiddling with NI settings but have really no idea what the settings all mean. (My machine only has P3D so I cant test other games) Would love some help if others have seen this problem with the TXP thanks IM

Does anyone have a set of alternative passenger sounds for GSX? I have a good replacement ground crew voice set but looking for better boarding sounds (especially the hellos). I checked the library to no avail. Thanks!

Evening guys, I was hoping i could get some help with my clouds and sky textures, i think maybe i've installed too much, and i kind off need to klnow what of the following i need to uninstall to get a good PTA result. This is what i currently have installed: - ENVTEX - REX Soft Clouds - PTA 2.0 (With Pedrag's preset, wich is how i would like for it to look) - Freeware cloud textures - Active Sky This is everything i have that can affect clouds and sky. What do i need to uninstall here to get a better result? As you can see in the screenshots below, my clouds just seems flat, and scattered, compared to the shot by Pedrag. Maybe someone can shed some light on this... I am using v3.4, and just recently installed hotfix 2. For quite some time now, I have no response from my localizer and GS indicators in any aircraft. I have the freq set right, and receive the proper morse code identifier, but the needles never move and I overfly the approach course. Happens every time. I reinstalled a separate v2.5 just to test, and everything there works properly! Any ideas out there? I have run searches online, but can't find anything relevant. Thanks! Russ

I did a comparison of P3D 3.3 and the latest P3D 3.4 hotfix 2. I wanted to really challenge the VAS so I flew from Heathrow to Frankfurt. Here are the details: Flight was from Heathrow (UK2000 EGLL) to Frankfurt (Aerosoft EDDF). Aerosoft A320 AS2016+ASCA+ENTEX OpenLC Europe Took some doing to get set up: Uninstalled 3.3 Client and installed 3.4 Updated FSUIPC to the latest Updated AS2016+ASCA to the latest Updated Orbx Object library Updated EZDoc Updated PTA from 1.x to 2.0 (I haven't adjusted the 2.0 shaders yet...not sure if this would change the results.) In the P3D controls list is one called Turbine Power Management System Toggle. I enabled it but couldn't see that it did anything. Can someone bring me up to speed on what it is and how it works? Noel

is it possible to get another light bloom for p3d v3.4 as i dont like the hdr lighting but want light bloom i have realised its what makes the water look bad please help thanks.

Hello, since i have updatet P3Dv3 to HF2 i can often see rotating clouds. is this an P3D or an AS16 feature?

Has anyone found a solution to the landing lights not working on the WOAI aircraft.

I have i4790k and a GTX 1070. In trying to see what is causing some big pauses around EGLC, I see that if I limit my FPS to 31, my kill-a-watt shows 180 watts. If I set FPS to unlimited, I will go to 280. This was clear day, no ActiveSky. Limiting to 31 FPS seems to be ok and I save money and the planet too. I originally had ORBX England (and all the base ORBXs), but since going to latest p3d version, something has been broken (yet OOM seems a few times less). I did uninstall England as OOM was just too much around UK2000 Heathrow. Going back to original issue, I found that traffic causes quite a bit of pausing. I have P3D installed and everything and I was playing it last night. I saw that it was installed on both of my hard drives, but only one had all of my add ons and everything. That being said, I deleted the other one, only to come to not have an icon anymore. When I go to the main folder of the P3D that's still installed there is no .exe. What doth me do?

I have always loved FSX X-Plane not for the real flying but to push the quality of the scenery... Recently I have seen Apple Maps utilize a 3D Photo Mapping and then Google allows 3D Earth like mapping all from a photo from a satellite? How can Lockheed Martin change the scenery from its older Auto Gen and begin to utilize GOOGLE MAPS 3D engine with accurate roads like x-plane has done with its OpenStreet db? X-Plane is king here with its engine. But is google maps 3d FREE and can it render it fast enuf for flight? just some thoughts...

Hi all, Currently debating if I should get FTX Vector or not. I generally do IFR commercial airliners flights, so I don't do VFR. The road textures of ORBX Vector that I have seen do not impress me, and actually break immersion in most of the screenshots I've seen. Also, I don't like the elevation problems that may create. The only reason I am considering Vector is the accurate coastlines, that can make a difference over the default. My question is, if there is any other product that can provide accurate coastlines instead of ORBX Vector? Thank you very much for your time.

Hey guys, so i have a problem with my P3D. Which is to do with the textures far away. and i know people have posted in the past about this but i'm not sure have am i going to fix it. As i can see people with really good far distance textures but with mine there like really blurry. If anyone can help that be great i will post some pictures, of what i am on about. Addons used are FTX global and FTXHD trees. Hi Everyone, Ok, so ive done a fresh install of P3D V3.4 and for some strange reason i cannot seem to get AA working very well/ if at all. Before i done the fresh install everything was working ok. (reason for fresh install was purely due to a hard drive upgrade) So ive got all my latest nvidia driver(s) updated and ive been researching to the worlds end to find a souloution just so i didnt have to post another "AA Is Awful" topic but here i am doing that very thing. lol.
