Hi Folks, Just purchased UT for the Caribbean - I have TNCM St Maarten (FlyTampa), MBPV Providenciales (TropicalSim), and TJSJ Puerto Rico (LatinVFR) - - - any suggestions for must have Caribbean airports ??? I was looking at Taxi2gate St Lucia - but it doesn't state any P3D compatibility... I've seen shots of FlyTampa's Grenadines - but many of the images the islands appear devoid of foliage - just bad shots or issues with P3D ??? Any input welcome... Thanks... Regards, Scott

Hi there, Am going to update to ver.3.4.18.19475 and as per previous updates am removing the client in programs and features. Looking at that folder I also see besides the P3D academic client a file called P3D Academic which is ver. 3.2.3.16769. (install date 15/8/2016) Do I need to remove that as well or do I leave that one alone? My scenery and content version are the same 3.2.3.16769 ( install date 23/3/2016 ) Would it ruin my setup if it's removed. Please let me know. Regards Leo de Haan Scotland

The REX Essential Plus Prepar 3d one-time licensing charge and flightaware monthly charges are not mentioned at their website, anyone know the price in USD? As stated on their website: To use REX Essential PLUS with OverDrive within Prepar3D, users will be required to pay a one-time licensing fee. Purchasing this special license is only available within the REX application. I followed Elaine's instruction to the T. When I went to install the H-Fix I got the following error. Install failed. This application requires NET Framwork 4.6.2 ....... So I go and find this NT Framework download on the Microsoft site and when I install it it says It is already installed on the computer. How do I fix this. Randy

I got really angry when I purchased WAHD and noticed that airports which were enhanced by Aces in default version of FSX were almost not modified by REX team. Few days later I realized they warned about it, therefore my rage was pretty much not necessary... or rather plain stupid. Anyway, those guys know how to keep customer interested. Last flight into JustSim's LFMN I shot an ILS approach into 04R in the NGX and even when I was fully established on the localizer according to my PFD I found myself off to the right. Not sure if it maybe was some temporary issue. Anyone else seen this?

Okay so i have concluded that ENVTEX works really well with ASCA and AS16, but there is a feature on ENVTEX that optimizes textures from older versions of flighsim and the VAS usage went down a full GB for me and i even have gained much more FPS might need more long haul testing but you guys should definitely try it. I when from having about 3200 to 3600 (intensive sceneries) never had oom in 3.4.14 but the vas usage is out the roof but this fixed VAS usage at least for me. VAS usage is now, 2725 it even been under 2500 i havent been past 3000 in any scenery i am running FTX Global , vector , NA openLC , Freemesh, OFX USA Mesh, and a bunch of addon airports even with sett…

Hello, i've got this issue: While in/ above cloud i'm able to see groud scenery models just like there would be rendered in front of cloud/fog. Tryied to change all possible configurations in-sim, also in other addons. This also happend in previous p3d update, on different scenery publishers too. Got any idea of what cause that? setup: i5 4690K, gtx970, 8gb ram,P3D 3.4.9-.14, ASN, REX4. Cheers, S

Somebody brought this up recently. Sometimes when landing, especially big-iron, it's like you're floating slowly into the airport even though you're at 140 knots. I have feeling it has something to do with textures and detail...as more detail comes into view your eyes sort of realize that you're closer to the ground and moving faster. As grass and pavement get more defined, etc. What, if anything, do you do to cause it get a better sense of speed?

Haven't had time to test them, any SLI users try them with P3D V3.x yet? Did they fix the FX flickering issues? Cheers, Rob.

I am using the Saitek Throttle quadrant along with a Thrustmaster T16000m and CH pedals for my sim. I just got the Saitek unit, and the only problem I have is this. All assignments for the Saitek are in FSUIPC, so I deleted all the assignments in P3D for the Saitek, both axis and buttons. Every so often, I start P3D and notice the throttle is "glitchy". I go into the control assignments in P3D for the Saitek, and I see that the Throttle axis is set along with a couple of the buttons. I delete the assignments and everything is fine again. Then a day or two later the same thing happens. Is there anyway to keep P3D from re-assigning these controls which I only want FSUIPC to…

I'm getting flickering shadows in p3d v3.4.. but, side note.. i'm also seeing this in XP11 beta as well. Its been present throughout a few of the most recent nvidia updates.. (gtx 1080 in my case).. i'm guessing since i see it in both sims, that maybe its an nvidia glitch.. is there a known fix for this or workaround at least? Thanks in advance

I'm aware of the product from Cielosim where you can plug in your own ATC files. Is that what folks use? Something else?

All, Loving P3d and have done for some time. Is anyone else activating each airport scenery when used and deactivating it; then running vector each time or is P3D ok with VAS management not to require it any more. Its fairly annoying having to set the sim up for around half an hour prior to flying?

I use a second drive for the P3D files with the exception of MyTraffic. MT6 is on my "C" drive because the installer prefers it. P3D and other addons are on a dedicated drive with gigabytes of room. Prepar3D 3.4.14.18870 (recent update of full program) addons: PMDG 777 P3D, Active Sky Next P3D, and MyTraffic Professional 6.0 All worked as advertised until the P3D update to 3.4.14.xxxx . When I updated the P3D, I downloaded the entire program again along with the SDK files. All addons work fine except MyTraffic. I get to the Communicator, when I localize the Traffic and Prepar3Dv3, the simobject installer window opens, but when …

Hello let me start by saying i am in no way attempting to bypass any of my software agreements!! so now that that is out of the way. I purchased the Pro version of P3d and want to switch over all my addons to that install. I installed most of them in the new P3d Install. But my old install on the other drive is still installed. Do i just do an uninstall to remove them ? My flight One GTN showed the ELUA on start up of the sim. I will remove all the addons i installed on the new set up, Will this un register them from that install and give me the ability to have it in the new one ? Thanks

For Vector, I tried both the direct downloads and from a manually downloaded zip file. In this latter case it went as far as the "Cleaning up..." state, after digesting 8.23 GB of data. But nearly at the end the error message reappeared. I am attaching, per instructions, the address of a snapshot of the Error message. Please help. Just a quick search for your opinions on a few of the best single pilot, twin piston engine aircraft for P3D? I only fly GA; and usually the A2A Cessna. I'd like to move up to something faster and more challenging. Thanks, Ron
