Hi all! Before I start talking about anything else, here are my PC specs and P3D settings: AMD Phenom II X6 1100T 6 core 3.3ghz GTX 750ti 2gb Samsung 850 EVO 500gb Win 7 64-bit 16gb ram and the P3D settings: http://imgur.com/a/yKrN4 All traffic sliders are off. My performance for some reasons likes to change from time to time out of no where. For example: I can be flying the PMDG 737 on these settings on default scenery (I don't use much payware scenery) and I can get 16-23 FPS depending on how close to the ground I am, which is actually fairly decent for me. At FlyTampa Dubai it is a tiny bit lower, same at all other FlyTampa scenerys I have. PMDG…

​A while since this tweak was first found, is it still considered a really good option in the P3D v3 config file: OPTIMIZE_PARTS=1 If so, should any other settings be made to align with this tweak? Are there any negatives to using it? Thanks!

Does anyone else have an issue with the runway lights at night being offset several feet above the runway at San Diego KSAN airport? I have Orbx SoCa installed and use the Orbx light configurator, I posted on Orbx forum byt no replies. Joe

The settings in my FSX.CFG are no longer being applied after the Orbx migration in FTX Central 2. What the heck did it do? Also, my flight stick is not working.

Hi I'm going to do a reinstall of P3D (I'm on P3D V3.2 right now) onto a new SSD that I just bought and I just wanted to ask a few questions because the whole thing is making me a bit nervous given the amount of stuff that can go wrong! The addons I have installed are: AS A320 Active Sky Next UK2000 EGKK Taxi2Gate EDDM 2 ORBX Freeware Airports FSUIPC Unregistered I'm planning to do the reinstall in a few days time, so I was just checking the files and all the documents just to get an idea of what I will do on the day. I can't believe this! The SimConnect menu bug which I'm sure was reported months ago, is still there -- the one where the SimConnect menu's 10th item is labelled 10, not 0, and in fact does not accept key 0! There is no key "10"! I'm very surprised that the L-M chaps don't realise this! And many applications use 0 to clear the menu -- it may even be the default use for all I know. But this bug means (along with one I've recently discovered, the hard way, where the latest version of P3D crashes immediately you try to use an assign SimConnect Menu N event) that there is no way at all to properly operate menus by keypress -- and therefore no way for joystick buttons! …

Hi, all. Here is latest variables.ini for ezdok workdcamera. http://www.ezdok-software.com/resources/files/variables.zip Its working for me under win7 and win10. Supported versins of P3D P3D v3.3.5.17625 P3D 3.4.14.18870 P3D 3.4.9.18400 Replace old file with this. Worldcam should work.

Ok I am using P3dv3.35 and ezdok 1.187 and using 4k resolution. I have played around with msaa in Nvidia control panel and within p3d. My gpu load is around the 55 to 80% load depending on clouds. Everything is running smooth except when panning around in VC and external views. Oh and using Sony 43in 4k Tv. at 30hz.

Good Afternoon I have LIRQ from sim market and P3D refuses to assign runways for landing and takeoff as the AFCAD (.bgl) dictates. I checked with ADE and the assignments are correct although P3D gets them backwards. P3D has the app/arr (23) coming down a hillside which is not correct and against the ILS. I've checked for other signs of LIRQ and disabled them. No help at all. Thanks Jon

My P3D v3 started to crash on startup screen, 30min ago I just closed it after a flight, when tried to open it again it started to crash. Once reinstalling the Addon Manager fixed, this time it's not. Where is the Error Log so I can try to figure out what is causing it?

HELP! I installed the Lukla X Scenery add-on, but when I went to the airport, there is is large piece of land that is covering the runway! Even updating the library, does not always return to normal. I'm using: P3D v3.4 ORBX Global 1.40 ORBX Vector 1.30 ORBX Europe Open LC VNLK Lukla P3D v2.20 And I used the FTX GLOBAL VECTOR Configuration Tool to fix de elevation. I just want to fix this to make a normal flight. Now with REX Worldwide Airports HD, thought it might be an idea to consider some more basic airport scenery upgrades using AFCAD's to compliment the full add-on airports in the sim. Where can I find quality AFCAD files that will work with P3D v3x? These could be paid or free options. I have seen some comments about Ray Smith's creations but I also understand that these need some work to make them compatible using third party software, sounds a bit too technical for me. I run MyTraffic 6 and this comes with many AFCAD files but they are still pretty basic.

With recent additions to Simconnect, the door has been opened up to a new series of dynamic views with the camera programmatically transitioning smoothly between points either as exterior or interior views. It is possible for a user to set up a series of coordinates and durations to define legs of a path a camera moves around the aircraft, for example, a smooth path along the wing or under the fuselage linking to more camera legs. It's also possible just to have the PC generate random camera position transitions. Hello guys, does anyone of you use DSR like an alternative to Antialiasing, which can be hard on frames. Do you have any recommended settings or tips? Or should I forget it, and use AA instead? I have a pretty powerful GPU (Nvidia GTX980).

Any opinions on Aerosim 787? Crap or not too bad. I know QW is coming out but I was looking at Aerosim as well.

Hi Folks, I just jumped over to Real Air Simulations site to see how the Beechcraft B60 (piston version of the Turbine Duke for Prepar3D) was coming along and they announced an end to the corporation today for personal reasons. Sorry if this was posted earlier but it took me off guard. Their Preapr3D Turbine Duke was one of my favorites; but given the personal reasons listed on their site I understand completely. Hello all, I have a question regarding real-world ATC IFR flights. Once you have the flight plan programmed and you're ready to go, and once you're in-air, if you see the flight path deviating away from the plotted flight plan, can you adjust to adhere to the plan or do you absolutely need ATC to authorise the adjustments?

As all who have reported problem with Prepar3d Versions 3.3.5 and 3.4. I also have been suffering them with the same failures that comments. I have 3 month investigating problems and almost no finish any flight more than 1 hour due to consumption of VAS that is disappears too quickly without explanation, when this was not happening before. I am not sure if this is even possible? I created a second copy of Windows 10 on my computer (separate HD) and purchased a second copy Of P3D I would like to Know if its possible to Copy all my orbex scenery from the 1st install of P3d to new copy. I know i will have to update the CFG as well. i am trying to avoid all the download time..

Well, let me start to say that i think i am at a point were 95% of my catalogue is moved to P3DV3 from FSX and alot afterwards as well. I have 233 entries before Bathymetry (not counting FTX Vectors and FS Global 2010 which sits below) Just wanted to see how much you (money) have in your scenery (flight adventure) ? I am a big fan of using EZDOK and Scenery Configurator Editor as my primary camera and scenery editor. its really nice just to make a "groupe" of scenerys to enable/disable. Thanks Michael Moe

I'm just wondering whether this method is still 'a thing' for saving VAS - or whether it has been debunked? I've not particularly had any VAS issues but I have been following this routine for a while - haphazardly. It's just a pain having to activate/deactivate sceneries before every flight, so just wanted to check whether it is still an effective exercise or just placebo.
