I'm looking for a decent list of liveries for the 757. The liveries on the website seem to be a bad quality, are there any HD ones? Checked AVSIM, not very many here.

Hello all! I need everyone's input on this. I recently upgraded to a 4k monitor. I have become so paranoid with how the terrain and scenery textures are loading. I don't know if they are loading slower due to the upgrade and my mind is playing tricks on me. I looked at previous pictures of when I had my 1080p setup. Comparing them doesn't seem to show any difference in quality which leads me to believe that 4k resolution just make it easier to see how ugly the default terrain textures actually are. However, looking at these pictures, do any of you think that the ground textures do in fact look blurry and that my 4k setup is causing the LOD radius to take a big hit? Or…

Can someone please help me setup my multi monitor set up correctly , i use nvidia surround sound but it causes distortion even with the zoom set up correctly and im running p3d 3.4.14. ive read about view groups and creating new views also using immersive display pro but i cant figure out how to make this work, really want to get flying.

Hi everyone yesterday installed P3D and it was running nice with all addons like ORBX global, vector and OpenLC. But today I installed the Aerosoft A320 and the PMDG 777 and when I try to load them after 5 seconds of being on the sim, it crashed. I hoep you know the solution. Hi, Can anyone provide some advise about buying Aerosoft's LIMC Milano airport? I have read a few forums and they are not raving about it so to speak, specifically regarding VAS usage and framrerates. Nevertheless version 1.10 (or even 1.11) has been released addressing most/all of the issues. So what is the current verdict? Is it a go or still no go?

Hello. I just replaced my triple monitor set up with a: BenQ HT2150ST DLP 1080P(1920 x 1080) 15000:1 Contrast Ratio Wireless 3D Gaming DLP Projector. Right now just testing with a stretched sheet and diagonal around 80" I have 2 questions. I am toying with the idea of getting a 4 X 8 piece of MDF and painting Satin white. There is also a great tutorial online about using the rings on a used outside trampoline for a curved screen. Anyone have comments for either of these options? Curved or flat ? MDF or stretched blackout fabric on board ? Best seating distance from the screen ? Many thanks & happy holidays !

I disconnected it. It will crash Prepar 3D, and freeze the PC. Even if unselected from the sim controls and using FSUIPC or viceversa. Windows 7 Any ideas?

Hey guys i am purchasing a 4k tv soon for my flight simming bow i was wondering what i should use for a faster transfer rate? Hdmi or dvi? And is there a specific guide i can go by setting up p3d on 4k? Cheers Mike

I am still a P3D user and still holding on to the latest release by FSL, PMDG, and now also QW is close to BETA of the B787. Will we also see a Dash8Q400 update ? What will you do with all this XP11 fuzzing and as i have seen in some topics that the PMDG747 P3D release might not be scheduled along with the FSX version? Michael Moe

Hi folks, Just curious – I was wondering if P3D supports wigwag landing lights – while they are pretty common today in real life - I don't ever recall seeing them in the simulator. If so – are there any working examples? Regards, Scott

Hello all, I made the jump from FSX Classic to P3D v2.5 about 2 months ago and I haven't looked back. The stability and visual gains on my system make FSX classic obsolete for me. I have had an issue, however, that I can't quite pinpoint the source of. I've seen many other posts regarding blurry terrain textures but I haven't found a solution that works for me. For flight simulation, I fly mostly airliners, but occasionally I'll fly VFR single-engine training flights. For this test, I focused on my most used aircraft, the PMDG 737 NGX. I find that at low altitudes and relatively low speeds (V2 to flaps up speed), texture loading seems to keep up well, and terrain text…

I have Ultimate Terrain X V2, but I'm considering getting orbx OpenLC NA. Is it a worthwhile purchase or waste of flightsim $$ if I already own UTX? I already own Global Base and vector. Thoughts?

Hey guys, bit of a daft question but I'm coming back to the skies again on my channel and recording a flight from Birmingham (EGBB) to Dubai (OMDB) Can anyone tell me what the correct altitude is for Glideslope Intercept for Runway 12L for an ILS approach? Hi, I am new to the whole custom scenery "world". I believe I know the answer but wanted to confirm. Are the FTX regions basically a product of the ORBX Global and LC and Vectors that have been gone over with and edited for a specific region along with adding in some "extras". I also assume there is no benefit to owning the ORBX Global and LC if you own the region and don't plan on flying outside of the region. Thanks for the insight. Brett

Hi, First of all my rig is mainly based on i7 6700K (OC 4.7) + MSI GTX 1070 and 16 GB 3200 Mhz RAM. On P3D 3.3.5 with PMDG 737 I can't keep acceptable level of loads on GPU (with 4x SGSS or even with 2x SGSS). It always crashes the P3D ! Even before entering clouds. (Cloud texture quality is the lowest possible right now. Size of cumulus01 file is 341 kbs) I'am just about to get crazy about this issue here ! I have tried nearly all options of AA via P3D and Nvidia Ins. No chance. FS9 had an option to set AA externally. I gues P3D does't allow this ? I recently bought a MSI 1080 gtx gaming x (slightly factory overclocked) and I am wondering what are some good setting? Maybe I'm expecting too much. I am running a 4K monitor and the xeon version of the 5930K overclocked to 4.5ghz on air cooling. I have the Orbx scenery but I disable the regions because I seem to go OOM very easily. I use the land classes and global. I strictly fly jets, mainly the PMDG 737. I also use activesky/cloud art, mytraffic (traffic level set at 25 percent), and GSX I am getting only around 17-22 frames on the ground taxiing at major payware (aerosoft, FSDT, etc) airports (EGLL, EDDF, KJFK, KMIA) and in high density areas like SF…

I just upgraded my monitor to a 4k tv and reinstalled everything on a SSD from my HDD. Everything is running pretty well but I'm having an issue with blurries. I'm only able to get it completely smooth if I set vsync and triple buffering on and set my refresh rate to 30hz. When I set to unlimited FPS, it can hold 30 FPS and everything is great but the ground textures are blurry. If I limit it to 30 FPS internally, I take a performance hit and can't hold 30 so I get stutters. But, the blurries are much less noticeable. I tried doing 25hz and it worked well limiting the FPS internally but it gave me some pretty bad input lag. I've backed off on most sliders, disabled…

Hey guys anyone care share if there are any good realistic presets out there that come as close as Rex enb natural Which my opinion is the best I have used in fsx. Damn shame we cannot use it in p3d.

My PC specs are I7 2600K running at 4Ghz, 8GB 1800 DDR3 and a GTX570 running Win7 64bitI get 15fps and sometimes as low as 9 in the PMDG J41.AI traffic is at 20% John Venema over on their forums simply refuses to acknowledge that there is a performance problem with YBBN saying that there are one person with a Core Duo running it at 25fps (Bullsh!t). Frankly his attitude towards his customers leave a lot to be desired. Anyone else struggling at YBBN?
