Hey everyone. I know its I'm asking for a big favor but I would seriously like to know if there is an updated version of Long Island MacArthur Airport. If not, I would seriously appreciate it if someone were to make it. Quick Background: Long Island MacArthur Airport (LIMA) is a public airport on Long Island, in Ronkonkoma, Town of Islip, Suffolk County, New York. The Town owns and operates the airport, which serves about two million commercial passengers a year, as well as general aviation. LIMA covers 1,311 acres (531 ha) and has four runways and two helipads.

Hi all, Back in FS9 days there was a program called Active Camera. One of it's great features was to (from the cockpit) right click somewhere on the nearby scenery and it would automatically generate a camera at that point. You'd then cycle to that camera and from that view point could follow (track) your aircraft. You could do this multiple times and each time you right clicked the camera point would just update itself. It was great for watching taxi and landings. On landings you could pause at 300 feet AGL, right click the mouse somewhere adjacent to the runway and then watch the aircraft autoland or watch it in instant replay from that point. I'm looking f…

Hello; Are any of you experiencing OOM's more than usual? I have only OOM'd in P3D 1 time (it was at EDDF) After than no more OOM's until this week. Within this week I have had maybe 4 OOM's? Any of you experience anything similar? I'm very curious if the Windows update has anything to do with it. Something is definately up. Since P3D v3.0 I have only had one OOM, now 4 in a row..... Im on P3D v3.4 with the latest hotfix, but the problem started even before I have applied the hotfix. My settings are modest, the same since V3.0.... . Thank you

Can anyone comment on what the best placement would be for a combo of ftxg + utx + open lc NA (dont have vector)... i've seen it mentioned before but trying to nail down the exact placement. Taking my first dive into OpenLC.. after having been primarily GEX + UTX for the longest time.. Is it open LC going Above the utx entries in the library.. so.. OpenLC UTX Default (least priority) Just trying to confirm.. and any need to turn off any scenery entries for utx or utx tool objects per say? Thanks in advance

This Product on sim market is only labeled fsx wich I find strange if it was released in august this year. Does anyone know If my open lc NA Alaska/Canada is lost for good? I bought Alaska/Canada back in march 2016 and missed out on the 30 day "discount" after full release. I complained about this in orbx forums and questioned the moral and legal reasoning for me having to buy Alaska/Canada twice. I said I was not looking for a discount but rather not be forced to buy Alaska/Canada twice wich is what I have to do to get the full release or even the Product I bought since there is no way for me to download just Alaska/Canada. For some reason the throttle quadrant stopped recognizing the throttles in my sim aircraft (payware and default). I'm running P3D v3.4 and I have the throttle connected to my Pro Flight Yoke System. The yoke, rudder pedals and switch panels work fine, however the throttle is the only thing causing issues. I tried to install the latest drivers but it requires that I plug in a USB which I don't have for the quadrant.

Hello, I have a gaming laptop with these specs NVIDIA Geforce GTX 980M, Intel Core i7 6700HQ (2.60 GHz), 24 GB Memory and 1 TB HDD 256 GB SSD but i am getting 17-18fps for some reason. Although i try to switch all the settings to low the ping still stay the same.

I have come to P3D directly from FS2004, so Radar Contact had been my primary ATC software for more than 10 years. Just curious if things changed for P3D and VOX ATC or PRO ATC are more superior than RC4. Your recommendations would be much appreciated. Thanks Dmitriy

Well I understand that this is a heavily debated topic but I was looking to get some suggestions I also understand that each PC is different but suggestions would be good as I could then work from there. I invested in a new PC which has solved my frame rate issues but now the main issue is OOM I like to fly the PMDG airliners into Heathrow often and I am looking for one settings that can get excellent realism without an OOM. Someone who understands each setting much better than I do will not be rare to find I am sure so I was wondering if people could recommend a good balance of detail and no OOMs. I am running P3Dv3.4 latest hot fix and Aerosofts Heathrow and other c…

Guys, I am not here to start a flame war between the two products, but I do hope to start a pro vs cons list thats unbiased as possible in the best interest of the community. I have used p3d since the very first beta came out all the way till now v3.4 and I am very grateful to LM and 3rd party developers that they have prolonged fsx's life span with p3d. I have enjoyed the many benefits that p3d has over fsx10, and its truly a much better sim at this point. However,P3d still has its limitations (mainly frame rates in dense areas, micro stutters, VAS, etc) even with the very BEST computer components money can buy. I'm getting good framerates...mid to high 20s...but getting pretty bad stutters at this airport. I get smoother performance at lower framerates at Heathrow. Anybody else get this?

I am hoping to get some independent views here on this forum, away from the software website. If I install MyTraffic 6 in P3D 3.4 I know I will want to substitute some of the not so good looking models with newer better looking freeware models. I am guessing I can do that via AIFP, however, can I update flightplans as well with newer more current AIG plans or Is that just too much work? Does MyTraffic 6 update their plans?

I see they have 35% off now and I'd like to get their YBBN, however I would appreciate an honest and unbiased opinion whether this product was updated for P3D usage (it's raw FSX design AFAIK). Also, comments about performance (VAS+FPS) would be appreciated Thanks Dmitriy

Hi there, I have a very weird problem. I just reinstalled P3D because my Sim always crashed when I wanted to fly in Europe (Aerosft Rom,Berlin EDDB and London, Taxi2Gate EDDM and Jetstream LICJ). I did not show any error message at all, it just crashed. On Aerosofts Website it said, that these Add Ons are compatible with P3D v3.4. Now during the reinstalling I tested after every installation of an Add On to see what could cause these crashes. After installing REX Texture Direct + Soft clouds the crashes first appeared. Anyone got any solution for this? In Asia or America everything works fine except for Flytampa Montreal. There I have the same problem.

Hello, I have installed P3Dv3.4 on Win 10 and have a number of addons working including PMDG, FTX PNW, North and South CA. I had previously purchased FTX EU England and Wales and Lancair IV-P, but consistently get an error when trying to install them. The error is a dialog box that says: Radio Buttons> On Next, Line 13: Argument 2 must be of type string. Stack Traceback: 1:[Radio Buttons>OnNext] Line: 13 in main chunk Has anyone else had any problems with installing ORBX product in Win 10 for P3Dv3.4? Thanks.

P3D v.3.3.5, win7 64bit, 970 + i5 There are a lot of defects in the VC model, for example floating objects outside the cockpit window and invisible cabin door. Also when i apply thrust reversers the how screen flashes random polygons. I opened a support ticket with them as well.

Hello, I recently bought a 737 throttle and used Migration Tool to install the drivers/TQ program into P3D because it was originally made for FSX and X-Plane but should work perfectly with P3D too using the Migration Tool, according to the developer. Some time after installation I noticed P3D was going nuts. It kept freezing randomly during a flight and sometimes while loading too. I found that pressing a button on the TQ freed P3D of its rigidity but only to freeze again after a few seconds. I thought it was the TQ and/or the drivers messing things up and tried different drivers upon consulting the developer and one older driver helped. I had re-installed P3D and…

I recently purchased the 10.00 app FSX follow which is now compatible with P3D. It says you have to login and create a password on the client page on your desktop to get it going. When I click login I get an error message, anyone else have this problem or know a workaround? Thanks

Hi Guys! After Months of finding out the Problem, thousands of mails with PMDG/Aerosoft und of Course an Live Support of PMDG, we cant solve the Problem. I have an good gaming PC. An Nvidia GTX 870M and the internal Intel R HD Graphic Chip. We want to choose the GTX instead of the graphic Chip, to use the 777 later. We arent sure, that we enter the GTX correctly in the P3D.cfg. We delete the Chip in the .cfg and entered the GTX with no effect. Also we can choose the GTX in P3D Menu. Any Ideas to solve it? Greetz.
